INTRODUCTION
BEFORE USING THE BROILER
1.Clean the broiler.
2.Switch on the hotplate to remove fumes and smells coming from the protective greases.
EVERYDAY USE OF THE BROILER
1.Turn the control knob to the position required.
2.To switch off, turn the knob back to “0”.
BEFORE USING THE BARBECUE
1. Clean the barbecue, prepare it for use and switch it on as described on page 10.
EVERYDAY USE OF THE BARBECUE
1.Turn the ON/OFF knob to the position required.
2.Wait for the pumice stone to become hot before starting to grill.
3.To switch off, turn the ON/OFF knob back to “0”.
BEFORE USING THE ELECTRIC FRYER
1. Clean the fryer, prepare it for use and switch it on as described on Page 13.
EVERYDAY USE OF THE FRYER
1.Turn the ON/OFF knob to position c.
2.Turn the thermostat knob to the position required.
3.Wait for the fryer to reach the correct temperature before starting to fry.
4.To switch off, turn the ON/OFF knob back to “0” and the thermostat knob to position (x).

IMPORTANT SAFETY
REQUIREMENTS
xDo not introduce wet food to the fryer at any time.
xBefore use of the product ensure no water residue is present within the OIL CONTAINER or LID.
xFrozen Foods are frequently covered with a coating of crystal which should be removed prior to frying. Lower the basket slowly to ensure no boilover occurs.
xNever allow water near the fryer during use to prevent the risk of oil/water eruption.
xIn the event of ignition, immediately douse the flames using the fryer cover and a dry towel (do not use wet cloths).

xFor best use of these appliances, read the instructions for use carefully and keep them in a safe place.
xThese appliances must only be used for the purpose for which they were designed, i.e. for cooking foods.
Any other use should be considered incorrect and therefore dangerous.
xThe manufacturer declines all responsibility for damage caused by unreasonable or incorrect use of the appliances.
xDo not try to alter the technical features of the appliances, because this could be very dangerous.
xPackaging materials (plastic bags, polystyrene pieces, etc...) must be stored out of the reach of children as they are potentially dangerous.
xCheck that the appliances have not been damaged during transport. If in doubt, consult a specialised engineer.
xMake sure that the installation and electrical connections are made by a qualified electrician following the manufacturer’s instructions and in compliance with local regulations in force.

WARNINGS FOR THE USE OF ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES
When using any electrical appliance some important rules must always be followed. In particular:
xNever touch the appliance with wet or damp hands or feet
xNever use the appliance with bare feet
xKeep children away from the cooktop when it is in use.
xBefore any cleaning or maintenance, switch the appliance OFF.
xRisk of fire!
Do not bring naked lights close to the fryer when it is ON because the oil or fat could easily catch fire.
xWhen using the barbecue, the extractor hood should be switched on or a window opened.
xMake sure that the electric cables of other appliances installed nearby cannot come into contact with these appliances.
xKeep children away from these appliances when they are being used.
If the appliances are fitted with glass covers:
xDo not close the glass cover when the appliance is still hot. If there is an oven under this appliance, do not close the cover when the oven is switched on or still hot.
xDo not put pans or heavy objects on the cover.
xDry off any liquid which may have spilt on the cover before opening it.
xThese appliances are intended to come into contact with food products and conform with European Directive 89/109/EEC.
xThese appliances have been designed for use only as cooking appliances. Any other use (e.g. heating rooms) should be considered incorrect and therefore dangerous.
xThese appliances have been designed, constructed and put on to the market in conformity with:

USING THE ELECTRIC BROILER

Switch on the broiler electric hotplate by turning the knob to the position required.
The temperature is adjusted by a 7-position changeover switch.
The numbers from 1 to 6 indicate the operating positions with temperature increasing with the number.
The broiler electric hotplate will continue to give out heat for 5 minutes after it has been switched off.
Never cook the food directly on the broiler electric hotplate, but in suitable pans or containers.

CORRECT USE OF THE BROILER
When using the electric hotplate:
− absolutely avoid idle operation (without pans)
− try not to spill liquids on the hotplates when they are hot
− only use pans with flat bottoms (electric type) − to save electricity use lids when possible
−always use pans which cover the hotplate surface completely.
Operation of the electric hotplates is signalled by an indicator light on the control panel.
ATTENTION
During and after use the broiler becomes very hot.
Keep children away.
