To light one of the burners, press and turn the relevant knob anticlockwise to the large flame position.

At the same time press the electric ignition button until the burner ignites.

Once the burner is lit, keep the knob pressed for about 10 seconds.

Release the knob.

If the knob does not ignite, repeat the operation. The burner safety system serves to prevent the emission of gas if the flame should be extinguished accidentally (draughts, interruptions in gas supply, dousing with liquids, etc.).
