Neonate: Term birth (37 weeks) through 28 days, or up to 44 weeks gestational age.
Pediatric: 29 days through 12 years of age.
Adult: 13 years and older.
Uses a sealed lead-acid battery.
Provides 8 hours of continuous monitoring of Adult NIBP (3 minute intervals/165 readings)
with simultaneous temperature and continuous SpO2.
Charges to 90% of capacity in 12 hours.
Should be charging when not in use.
Patient data is erased if battery goes dead.
If not plugged in, monitor turns off 15 minutes after the battery discharge reaches “failure
level.”
Battery indicator is located on front panel when the unit is turned on. When battery is LOW,
a warning tone sounds and the low battery indicator flashes. (To avoid shutdown, plug in and
connect the AC power). When the low battery indicator appears, there is enough charge
remaining to perform at least ONE of the following functions over the next hour:
20 NIPB cycles
30 minutes of SpO2
20 temperatures
a single printing of 99 stored data sets
Device
Wipe the monitor with a cloth slightly dampened with warm water, a mild detergent or
appropriately diluted, non-staining disinfectant. Never wet or immerse the device.
Accessories
Do not immerse, soak, or autoclave. Wipe the NIBP hose and reusable cuffs with a damp
cloth moistened in a mild detergent. Clean the SpO2 sensor with a cloth dampened with
70% alcohol or 10% bleach solution. Wipe the temperature probe with a cloth dampened
with alcohol, warm water, or an appropriately diluted, non-staining disinfectant solution.
Clean removable probe well by swabbing with a cloth dampened with 70% isopropyl alcohol
or 10% bleach solution. Probe well can be immersed.
