Opening the light
Side part type A or B
After loosening the 3 screws on the
connection side of the light (approx.
3-4 turns), the light column can be
removed (see fig. 2a and 2b).
Side part type C
To open the light, turn the outer
rotary ring (connection side) counterclockwise while holding the
counterpiece with a straight pin
(see fig. 2c), if necessary.
Important! Clean the seals after
you have detached and reattached
the lateral parts.
Installation
The light is delivered with an integrated electronic ballast unit. The
power supply is effected by means
of the built-in terminal strip (see
connection diagram fig. 4).
Optionally the light is delivered
with a lateral connector. For these
lights, the device box is enclosed
in the delivery.
To connect the light, pull the side
part out of the light tube. Pull the
lamp holder slightly out of the light
tube and remove the cover. Then
connect the cable to the terminal
(see fig. 3).
Assembly takes place in reverse
order.
Putting into operation
Before putting the light into operation, the user has to check whether
the mains voltage is identical to the
rated voltage and frequency specified on the rating plate.
Operation
The light is not equipped with
a switch of its own. It is usually switched on/off via an external
switch.
Maintenance and repairs
Disconnect the light from the
mains before carrying out any
maintenance or repair work! This
work may only be carried out by a
