FIXED FEATURE BUTTO NS
• CA MP - ON Button -- Enables you to alert a bu sy
party that an outside line is on hold an d waiting
for th em.
• CONF (CONFERENCE) Button -- Used to
establish and build conference calls.
• FLASH Button -- Used to terminate an outside
call and restore dial tone without having to
hang up the handset. It is also used to transfer
calls behind a PBX or Centrex within those
systems.
• FORWA RD (F WD) Button -- Allows you to
for ward your calls to another station.
• HO LD Button -- En ables you to p lace an outside
caller on hold.
• H- T- P Switch -- Allo ws the user to select the ICM
signaling mode: Handsfree, Tone, or Privacy.
CALL FORWARDING
1. Press t he F WD butto n or d ial [6 40].
2. Dial the des ired Call Fo rw ar d co de:
[6] = All Calls
[7] = N o Answer
[8] = B usy
[9] = B usy /No Ans wer
3. Dial station number where calls are to be
forward ed. Hear conf irmation tone.
4. Replac e h and set o r press O N/OFF bu tton .
ESTABLISHING A CON FER EN CE
Only stations that have Conference enabled will be
able to initia te a Confere nce.
1. Lif t t he hand set .
2. Selec t in t ercom stati on or dia l desi r e d o utside
party. When called party answers, press the
CO NF bu tton .
3. Add next c onf eren ce par t y by selec ti ng
another outside line o r intercom station.
4. Press the CONF button again and repeat
previous step in a cycle, until all parties are
co nt ac te d.
5. Wh en last p arty an swers, press the C ONF
button twice. All parties are connected.
TERM INATI NG A CO NFE RE NCE
To terminate a Conferen ce, the conference initiator
must b e actively in th e conference.

• MSG (MESSAGE WAIT) Bu tton -- Allows you to
initiate a message waiting indication at stations
that are busy , unattend ed, or in Do Not Dist urb.
Message Waitin g Callback request left at your
station is indicated by a f lashing MSG WAIT LED.
• MUTE Button -- Allows you to switch the built-
in micro p ho n e on or of f w h en us in g t h e
speakerphone, or the handset microphone
when u sing the handset.
• ON/OF F Button -- Enables you to make a
te lephone call without lifting the handset. It
turns th e telephone o n an d off wh en using th e
speakerphone.
• SPEED Button -- Provides you with access to
speed dialing, sa ve num ber redial an d last
number redial. This button is also used to
access flexible bu tton programming.
• TRANS (T RA NSF ER) Button -- Used to transfer
an outside call f rom one station to ano ther.
• VOLUME BAR -- Allows th e user to adjust
speakerphone and handset volume.
U NSCREEN ED T RANS FER
1. Press TRANS button and dial sta tion numb er.
2. When the c alled extension b egins to signal,
hang up to transfer the call.
3. Rep l ace ha nd set or p res s O N/OFF bu tto n.
SCR EEN ED T RA NSFER
While connected to an outside line:
1. Press s tation button where call is to be
transferred (if programmed on your
te le p ho ne ),
-o rPress the TRANS button and dial the desired
station number.
(The called extension signals according to the
intercom sign al swit ch position.)
2. When t hat extension an swers, announce the
tr a ns f er .
3. Hang up to complete transfer.
LEA VIN G A M S G WAIT ING INDICAT ION
If you dial a station that is busy, unattended, or in
Do Not Disturb, you can leave a message waiting
indication.
1. Press the ON/O FF button.
2. Dial the des ired intercom station. A busy t one
or DND ton e is he ard.
3. Press the MSG button. Th e called party’ s M SG
button LED will flash slowly.
4. Press th e ON/Off bu tton to end the call.

PLACING AN OUTSIDE LINE ON HOLD
• If yo ur syst em is programmed fo r Exclusive
Hold Pref erence, press the HOLD button once
for Exclusive Hold o r twice for System Hold.
• If your s ys tem is pr ogr ammed f or Syst em H old
Pref erence, press the HOLD button once for
System Hold or twice for Exclusive Hold.
STORING SPEED NUMB ERS
1. Press the SPEED button twice.
2. Dial the speed bin location.
• 000 to 01 9 = Station Speed number s
• 020 to 999 = System Speed numbers
3. Dial desired telephone number.
4. Press the SPEED button.
5. Pres s the ON/OFF button to end speed dial
pr og ram mi n g.
To clear an existing speed bin:
1. Press the SPEED button twice.
2. Dial the speed bin location.
3. Pres s the SPEED button again. A confirmation
tone will be heard.
DIALING A SPEED NUMBER
1. Press the SPEED button.
2. Dial the speed bin location,

• 000 to 019 = Station Sp eed numbers
• 020 to 999 = System Speed numb ers
3. When called p arty an swers, pick up handset o r
use speakerphone.
DI RE CTOR Y DIA LIN G
Users wit h display telephones may view a list of
individuals on the telep hone sys tem an d have the
system automatica lly dial that person. Directory
Dialing may also be u sed to transfer a c all f ro m one
station to another.
1. Dial the Directory List dial code [680],
-orP res s the DIR ECTORY DIAL flexible button .
2. Pres s a b utton on th e key pad, once, twice or
three times, to represent the letter of the
alphabet, to begin viewing the list of names.
3. Scroll through the Directory List to select a
nam e as f o llo ws :
• Press [✳] to scroll up to next entry,
-or-
• Press [#] to scroll down to previous entry.
4. Pres s the SPEED button at the desired name to
automatically dial the destination station or
outside p hone number (via Speed Dial).
To transfer a call usi ng Directory Dialing
1. Pr ess th e T RA NS bu tton .
2. Dial Direct ory Dial Code [680],
-o rPress the DIRECTORY DIAL flexible button.
3. Press the d igit associated with the person’s
nam e . W he n the na m e d isp lays, pr ess t h e
SPEED button to automatically dial the station.
4. Press the ON/OFF button to complete transfer.
