Your BladderScan® instrument requires periodic calibration to ensure that it is providing
the most accurate results. Calibration ensures accurate and proper alignment of the
instrument’s internal coordinate system.
The entire calibration process takes approximately 15 minutes. You can calibrate your
instrument as often as you like; you do not have to wait for the next scheduled calibration
date. However, at a minimum, you must calibrate the instrument every 12 months.
If the calibration period has elapsed, you may continue to use the instrument to perform
bladder scans. However, the accuracy of the measurements may be compromised.
Viewing the number of days until required calibration:
1. Mobile BladderScan® BVI 6400 users only: Place the instrument in the
ScanPoint® Docking Station or charging cradle.
Other BladderScan® (BVI 6100, BVI 6200, BVM 6500) users: Remove the
instrument from the ScanPoint® Docking Station or charging cradle.
