1. Introduction

3. General Guidel ines

5. Overview

Refer to the illustration on page 2 of this manual.

6. Operation

• Insert the cable from a music source (not incl.) into the signal input

jack [C] and switch the external music signal on. Use the included
male-male convertor cable when necessary.

• The au d io s peaker c a n be po we red via t he U SB po r t [D] or via

batteries (not incl.). Use the included USB cable to connect the
speaker to a free U SB por t from a co mp uter (not inc l.) or a powe r
adapter (not incl.).

• Set the power switch [F] towards the status LED [E]) when using

a USB power source; slide it away from the power LED [E] when
using battery power. Note that when the USB port is power ed,
the audio speaker will not work when switched to battery setting,
even when batteries are present!

• When the audio speaker is powered, the red status LED [E] is on.

• Adjust the volume with the volume down [A] or volume up [B]

buttons.

• When the sound output is distorted, check the battery status and

the quality of the input signal.

• Switch the speaker off by moving the power switch [F] to the

middle position.

7. Batteries

• Make sure the audio speaker is off and disconnected from a USB

power source.

• Push lightly on the battery cover [G] and slide it downwards (s ee

marking on the back) to open the battery compartment.

• Insert two new type AAA (LR03C) batteries with polarity as

indicated inside the battery casing.

• Close the battery compartment by placing it back and sliding it

upwards un til it c licks into place.

• Remove the batteries when the device is not used for a long time.

• Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries and do

not throw in fire as they might explode.

WARNING: handle batteries with care, observe
warnings on battery casing. Dispose of batteries in
accordance with local regulations.
Keep batteries away from children.

1. Inleiding

2. Veiligheidsinstructies

Houd de luidspreker uit de buur t van kinderen en
onbevoegden.

Enkel voor gebruik binnenshuis. Bescherm de luidspreker
tegen regen, vochtigheid, extreme temperaturen, stof en
opspattende vloeistoffen.

Regelmatig gebruik van oortjes of een luidspreker aan een
hoog volume kan het gehoor permanent beschadigen.

• De garantie geldt niet voor schade door het negeren v an

bepaalde richtlijnen in deze handleiding en uw dealer zal de
verantwoordelijkheid afwijzen voor defecten of problemen die
hier rechtstreeks verband mee houde n.

• Schade door wijzigingen die de gebruiker heeft aangebr acht aan

het toestel vallen niet onder de garantie.

3. Algemene richtlijne n

• Bescherm de luidspreker tegen schokken. Vermijd brute kracht

tijdens de bediening van dit toestel.
