Online Monitoring Where and When You Need It

Utilizing the same ground-breaking technology of the OptimusTM OPT100, Vaisala has developed the only online DGA platform that can be moved from transformer to transformer within hours.

With the Vaisala OptimusTM OPT100 Mobile, your team gets convenience and online monitoring on wheels. The logistical advantage allows you to save on O&M costs while allowing you to better evaluate and extend the life of your transformers.

Robust Construction

The OPT100 Mobile is fabricated using stainless steel tubing and

marine grade aluminum along with other ruggedized features, to ensure it can withstand setup, breakdown, and transport from site-to-site. In addition, the housing is IP66-rated and temperature controlled to operate in any environment – be it the California dessert or the Rocky Mountains.

Smart Design

The Vaisala OptimusTM OPT100 Mobile was designed to be towed to a site and set-up in under 2 hours. The unit easily folds up for monitoring and down for transport. All mechanical and electrical connections come with the unit. It can be connected to an existing control network or used as a standalone device. Commissioning is a one-button process using a PC and web browser - no additional

Dependable Performance

Built into every OPT100 Mobile is the patented reference cycle and auto-calibration system to guarantee long-term stable measurement performance. There will never be any additional transformer maintenance or coefficients to set. Additionally there is no need for manual intervention in the case of a power outage — the unit will automatically resume normal operation if power is ever lost.
