If the unit d o es not (or seems to not) power on, foll ow the

Test ing The Main Cont rol
If the mai n control is s u s p ect e d of bei n g f a ulty , the
following procedure should be performed to verify main
con t r o l for fu nc ti onali t y.
Re lay & DC Outputs
One of the pri m ary f u nc tions of the mai n c o ntrol i s to
operate the mul t ipl e relay a n d D C outputs duri ng ea ch
cycl e. V e rify p r oper operation of these relays using the
following procedure.
1. Enter “Rela y Toggle” th rou g h th e s e rv ic e m e nu .
Frequently toggling the c o m p re ssor re lay coul d
force th e comp ressor in to overload. The
comp ressor will automatica lly deactivate d u rin g
an overl o ad and wi ll rema in deactiv a ted unti l t h e
overload switch cools. Th is cou l d take some
ti me. It is i m port ant to al low the compressor at
least 5 mi nutes off t i me bet w een relay cycles.
2. Toggl e the rela y. It s rela ted c o mpo n ent s h oul d
ac ti va te / deac tiv a t e wi th t h e sw it ch in g of th e r e la y. I f
it does not, see “Component Testing.”
