PROGRAMMING
Program ming the desired humidity level
With the appliance switched on, you can
now specify the desired humidity level. This
value will be displayed constantly on screen
(17).
Use the selection controls [
] [ ] (19) to
modify the humidity level settings in steps of
5%. Humidity level selection cycles
5% - 10% - 15% - ......85% - 90% - 95%
A humidity level of between 30 to 95% can
be selected. A relative humidity level of 60%
is recommended.
If the chosen humidity setting is greater than
the actual humidity the dehumidifier will not
start operating.
The appliance will switch itself on and off
automatically, maintaining the chosen humi
-
dity setting.
The appliance is equipped with an automa
tic defrost system. This will come on from
time to time and the pilot lamp (13) [
]
will light up.
This system ensures that the dehumidifier
operates correctly. When the process has fi
nished, the appliance will go back to normal
operation automatically.
Note:
• In order to avoid damaging the compressor, do not switch the appliance on and off
repeatedly
Apart from being beneficial for the machine,
it will also save energy.
• If you do switch the appliance on and off
continuously then the compressor may re
main inactive for a few minutes.
This is quite normal for this appliance.
You can program the humidifier to operate
independently based on certain settings.
How to program the on/off time
This appliance is equipped with an automa
tic on/off device (11) [
] that allows you
to specify when the appliance switches it
self on or off, to use this function proceed
as follows:
Program ming the auto-start function:
Use the controls (fan speed, desired humidi
ty level) to select the desired function. The
appliance must be switched off in order to
program the auto-start function.
Press button (9) [
] to switch the appliance
off.
Do this programming with the appliance
switched off. Press the timer switch (11)
[
] . The automatic on/of f indicator (16)
will light up and screen (17) will display the
number of hours lef t until the appliance
switches itself on.
Use the controls [
] [ ] (19) to specify the
auto-start time (between 1 to 24 hours) With
each press of either control (19) [ ] [ ]the
time setting will be changed by one hour.
A few seconds after specifying the desired
time setting, the screen (17) will switch back
to displaying the humidity level.
When the programmed time has elapsed the
appliance will switch itself on automatically.

time setting, the screen (17) will switch back
to displaying the humidity level.
When the programmed time has elapsed the
appliance will switch itself on automatically.
If the On switch (9) [
] is pressed during
programming then the operation will be cancelled.
EMPTYING THE DRAINAGE TANK
When the water reaches the tank’s maximum
level the tank full indicator (12) [
] will light
up and the dehumidifier will switch itself off
automatically.
Remove the tank, empty the contents and
put it back into position, figure 1. The dehu
-
midifier will start again automatically.
Carry the tank by its handle and pour away
the contents.
Hold both sides of the tank while emptying
it.
CONTINUOUS DRAINAGE
In those places where continuous drainage
is required, it will be necessary to fit a drain
pipe. To this, follow the steps given below:
- Take out the water tank (5).
- Open the continuous drain outlet (6) by
turning the stopper clockwise. Remove the
rubber bung, figure 3.
- Insert a flexible PVC drainage tube (inside
diameter: 13mm / approx. 100cm long) and
attach it securely to the drain outlet by means
of a hose clamp.
