Installation Steps:
1. Remove the fuel lines from the carburetor and the exhaust pipe. Remove the throttle linkage from the carburetor.
2. Remove the EZ-Start connector from the chassis by removing the 2mm button-head cap screw (BCS) that secures it. (A)
3. Remove the 5.5mm nut that secures the exhaust pipe to the chassis.
4. Turn the vehicle over and remove the four
2.5mm (B) screws and two 2mm countersunk screws (C) that secure the engine mount to the chassis.
5. Remove the engine and engine mount from the chassis.
6. Remove the exhaust pipe from the engine using a 2.5mm hex driver.
7. Remove the EZ-Start assembly from the engine using a 2mm hex driver.
8. On the left side of the engine, remove the two
2.5mm cap screws securing the engine to the engine mount. (D)
9. Package #6536 includes three RPM sensor mounts. The mount for the Nitro 4-Tec is labeled “C”. Install the RPM sensor mount on top of the mounting tab and secure with the new engine mount screws that are included.

10. Remove the clutch bell from the engine using a
2.5mm hex driver. (D)
11. Remove clutch shoes from the flywheel.
12. Remove the flywheel nut (F) using an 8mm hex wrench (use pliers to hold the flywheel). Remove the flywheel.
13. Install flywheel with magnet (#6542) and reinstall flywheel nut, clutch shoes and clutch bell.
14. Install RPM sensor (#6522) into sensor mount and secure with the included 2mm screw. (G)
15. Reinstall the EZ-Start assembly onto the engine.
16. Reinstall the exhaust pipe onto the engine.
17. Reinstall the engine onto the chassis.
18. Remove the upper receiver box using a 2mm hex driver. (H)
19. Route the RPM sensor wire to the receiver box and plug into the slot labeled “RPM”. (I)
20. Reconnect the fuel lines and the throttle linkage and secure the exhaust pipe to the chassis.
