1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Engagetheparkingbrake.
3.Removeanyattachmentsfromthemachine.

4.Lowertheloaderarmssothattheyareapproximately 20to25cm(8to10inches)abovetheframe.
5.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.

1.Lift/supportthesideofthemachinetobeworkedon sothatthetrackis3to4inches(7.6to10cm)off theground.
2.Removethelockingboltandnut(Figure6).

Note:Thisenablesthedrivewheeltopivotforward andreleasethetensionofthetrack.Ifitdoesnot pivot,turnontheengineandbrieymovethetraction controlforward.
5.Removethetrackatthetopofthefrontwheel,peeling itoffthewheelwhilerotatingthetrackforward.
6.Whenthetrackisoffthefrontwheel,removeitfrom thedrivesprocketandroadwheels(Figure7).
7.Beginningatthedrivesprocket,coilthenewtrack aroundthesprocket,ensuringthatthelugsonthetrack tbetweenthespacersonthesprocket(Figure7).
8.Pushthetrackunderandbetweentheroadwheels (Figure7).
9.Startingatthebottomofthefrontwheel,installthe trackaroundthewheelbyrotatingthetrackrearward whilepushingthelugsintothewheel.
11.Aligntheclosestnotchinthetensionscrewtothe lockingboltholeandsecurethescrewwiththelocking boltandnut(Figure6).
12.Torquetherearboltto108to122N∙m(80to90ft-lb).
13.Lowerthemachinetotheground.
14.Repeattheproceduretoreplacetheothertrack.
15.Drivethemachine,thenparkthemachineonalevel surface,engagetheparkingbrake,shutofftheengine, andremovethekey.
Note:Thetracktensionwillloosenaftersomeuse.
16.Removethelockingboltandnut(Figure6).
17.Usinga1/2inchdriveratchet,turnthetensioning screwcounter-clockwiseuntilthetensionnutaligns withthegreensectionofthedecal(Figure9).
10.Usinga1/2inchdriveratchet,turnthetensioning screwcounter-clockwiseuntilthetensioningscrew bottomsout(Figure8).

Procedure
1.Removethelockingboltandnut(Figure6).
2.Usinga1/2inchdriveratchet,turnthetensioning screwcounter-clockwiseuntilthetensionnutaligns withthethegreensectionofthedecal(Figure9).
3.Aligntheclosestnotchinthetensionscrewtothe locking-boltholeandsecurethescrewwiththelocking boltandnut(Figure6).
4.Repeattheprocedurefortheothertrack.
5.Drivethemachine,thenparkthemachineonalevel surface,engagetheparkingbrake,shutofftheengine, andremovethekey.
6.Verifythatthetensionnutis1.3cm(1/2inch)away fromtherearofthetensiontubeslotforbothtracks (Figure9).Adjustifnecessary.
