INSTALLING YOUR ARCADE STICK
Connect the Arcade Stick to any controller port of the Xbox™ console.
You can even use your Arcade Stick with games that do not usually support this type of device. To do so, switch on your Xbox™ console and press and hold the BACK button (4) on your Arcade Stick while plugging it in.
TURBO FUNCTION
If you apply the Turbo function to a button you only need to press the button once and the action will be carried out repeatedly. Pressing a button once with the Turbo function applied is equivalent to pressing the same button 10 times per second in normal mode.
N.B.: the Turbo function can only be applied to the analog action buttons (2).
Applying the Turbo function to a button:
1. Press and hold the TURBO button (6).
2. Press the action button onto which you wish to apply the Turbo function.
Disabling the Turbo function applied to a button:
1. Press and hold the TURBO button (6).
2. Press the action button that you wish to disable.
PROGRAM FUNCTION
Use this function to apply one button’s function to another button.
N.B.: every time you unplug the Arcade Stick or switch off your console, your programming will be erased.
The function of each analog button (X, Y, A, B, Black, White, T1, T2) and each stick direction can be applied to another analog button or stick direction.
If a stick direction is programmed onto an analog button, the analog button becomes digital.
If an analog button is programmed onto a stick direction, the stick direction remains digital.
N.B.: the START, BACK, PROGRAM, TURBO, COMBO and CLEAR buttons are not programmable.
1. Press the PROGRAM button (7): the LED (8) turns red*.
2. Press the button (2) or direction (1) you wish to program elsewhere: the red LED flashes* (for
directions, this means pushing the stick all the way up, down, left or right).
2/6
3. Press the button/direction that you wish to program with the same function as the
button/direction selected in step 2 above: the LED turns green, and then switches off.
The button/direction pressed in step 3 now has the same function as the button/direction selected in step 2. The button/direction pressed in step 2 retains its original function.
*If you do not press another button/direction within 5 seconds, the LED will switch off and no changes will have been made.
Example 1: Press the PROGRAM button: the LED turns red. Next, press the B button: the red LED flashes. Finally, press the A button: the LED turns green and then switches off. The A button now performs the B button’s function, while the B button retains its original function.
Example 2:
Press the PROGRAM button: the LED turns red. Next, push the stick up: the red LED flashes. Finally, press the A button: the LED turns green and then switches off. The A button now performs the stick’s upward movement, while the “up” direction of the stick retains its original function.
To return to the default configuration:
Press and hold the PROGRAM button (7) for more than 3 seconds: the LED (8) will first turn red and then green for 2 seconds. This means that the default configuration has been restored.
COMBO FUNCTION
This function enables you to program up to 8 action sequences (or “combos”), which you can use at any point in the game. ABOUT PHOTOSENSITIVE SEIZURES
A very small percentage of people may experience a seizure when exposed to certain visual images, including flashing lights or patterns that may appear in video games. Even people who have no history of seizures or epilepsy may have an undiagnosed condition that can cause such “photosensitive epileptic seizures” while watching video games.
These seizures may have a variety of symptoms including lightheadedness, altered vision, eye or face twitching, jerking or shaking of arms or legs, disorientation, confusion, or momentary loss of awareness. Seizures may also cause loss of consciousness or convulsions that can lead to injuries from falling down or hitting nearby objects.
Stop playing immediately and consult a doctor if you experience any of these symptoms. Parents should look out for, or ask their children about, the above symptoms - children and teenagers are more likely than adults to experience these seizures. If you or any of your relatives have a history of seizures or epilepsy, consult a doctor before playing.
