• Do not let the unit become wet.

or used after a sudden temperature change, there is a danger of condensation; vapor in the air could condense on the internal mechanism, making correct operation impossible. To prevent this, or if this occurs, let the unit sit for one or two hours at the new room temperature before using.

Cleaning the unit

Use a soft dry cloth to wipe the unit clean. Do not use chemically-treated cleaning cloths, thinner, alcohol or similar substances to wipe the unit. Doing so could damage the surface or cause discoloration.

Names and Functions of Parts

Front panel

1 Indicator

This lights green when connected to a computer that is powered on. This lights red when the MUTE button is on.

2 MUTE button

Use this to mute (silence) the mic signal.

This is a USB Type-C port. The included USB cable (Type-A to Type-C) can

be used to connect this to a computer.

6 Headphone jack

Use this mini stereo jack (3.5mm) to connect stereo headphones.

Use an adapter to connect headphones with a standard stereo plug (6.3mm).

On Off

Using the mic

1. Minimize the GAIN and VOLUME knobs.

2. Turn off the MUTE button.

3. Use the included USB cable (Type-A to Type-C) to

connect the mic to a computer USB port. When the USB connection is working, the indicator above the MUTE button will light green.

NOTE

• The unit should be connected directly to the computer, not through a USB hub.

• Operation is not guaranteed when connected using any other USB cable. Moreover, Type-C– Type-C cables cannot be used.

4. Connect headphones to the headphone jack on

the bottom of the mic.

CAUTION

Before connecting headphones, minimize the volume with the VOLUME knob. Failure to do so might cause sudden loud noises, which could harm your hearing or result in other trouble.

5. Open the Sound settings screen on the com-

puter being used in a suitable way. Show and select this mic (TM-250U) as the input and output device, and confirm that it has not been disabled.

6. Turn the VOLUME knob to about the halfway

point. Then, while speaking toward the mic, raise and adjust the GAIN knob to a level that does not cause the voice to distort.

7. While outputting audio from the computer, use

the GAIN knob to adjust the level of the mic input to achieve a suitable balance. Then, use the VOLUME knob to adjust the overall volume.

NOTE

The MUTE button only mutes the mic input. Signals from the computer will be output from the headphone jack regardless of the MUTE button status.

CAUTION

Do not place the mic near or point it at a speaker or headphones. Doing this might result in sudden loud noises caused by feedback. This could harm your hearing or lead to other trouble.

Troubleshooting

If you are having trouble with the operation of this unit, please try the following before seeking repair.

If these measures do not solve the problem, please contact the store where you purchased this unit or TASCAM customer support service.

Mic not recognized

• Do not use a USB hub with this unit. Always connect the unit directly to a USB port on the computer.

• If the above methods do not resolve the problem, connect the unit to a different USB port on the computer.

Mic input not possible

• Confirm that the MUTE Button is not on.

• Is it selected as the input device on the computer

being used? Is it disabled?

No sound is output

• Is the headphone jack connected properly?

• Is the VOLUME knob raised to a suitable level?

• Is it selected as the output device on the

computer being used? Is it disabled?

• Is the cable being used designed only for power supply? Use the included cable.

Volume is low

• Is the VOLUME knob raised to a suitable level?

Sound is distorted

• Is the GAIN knob set too high?

Sound breaks up or there is noise

• Confirm that the connection cables do not have contact issues.

• The processing load on the computer causes sound to break up and noise to occur.

If a wireless LAN or background software, including antivirus software, is running, turn it off during use of this unit. In addition, set the PC Control Panel “Power Options” to “High performance” (Windows).

• Use a USB port built into the computer because the computer USB port affects the USB connection.

5 Port USB

C’est un port USB Type-C. Le câble USB fourni (Type-A vers Type-C) peut

6 Prise casque

Cette prise mini-jack 3,5mm stéréo sert à brancher un casque stéréo. Utilisez un adaptateur pour brancher un casque à fiche jack (6,35mm) stéréo standard.

Emploi du micro

1. Réglez au minimum les boutons GAIN et

VOLUME.

2. Désenclenchez le commutateur MUTE.

3. Utilisez le câble USB fourni (Type-A vers Type-C)

pour connecter le micro à un port USB de l’ordinateur. Quand la connexion USB fonctionne, le voyant est allumé en vert au-dessus du commutateur MUTE.

NOTE

• L’unité doit être branchée directement à l’ordinateur et non au travers d’un concentrateur (hub) USB.

• Le fonctionnement n’est pas garanti en cas de connexion à l’aide d’un autre câble USB. De plus, les câbles Type-C–Type-C ne peuvent pas être utilisés.

4. Branchez un casque à la prise casque sous le

micro.

MISE EN GARDE

Avant de brancher un casque, baissez le volume au minimum avec le bouton VOLUME. Ne pas le faire pourrait laisser passer des bruits forts et soudains risquant d’endommager votre audition ou de créer d’autres problèmes.

5. Ouvrez l’écran de paramétrage Son approprié sur

l’ordinateur utilisé. Affichez et sélectionnez ce micro (TM-250U) comme périphérique d’entrée et de sortie, et vérifiez qu’il n’a pas été désactivé.

6. Tournez le bouton VOLUME jusqu’à mi-course

environ. Ensuite, tout en parlant vers le micro, montez le bouton GAIN à un niveau qui ne provoque pas de distorsion de la voix.

7. Quand du son sort de l’ordinateur, réglez le

niveau de l’entrée micro avec le bouton GAIN pour obtenir une balance appropriée. Ensuite, réglez le niveau global avec le bouton VOLUME.

NOTE

Le commutateur MUTE ne coupe que l’entrée du micro. Les signaux de l’ordinateur seront produits par la prise casque quelle que soit la position du commutateur MUTE.

MISE EN GARDE

Ne placez pas le micro à proximité ou en direction d’un haut-parleur ou d’un casque. Cela pourrait entraîner des bruits forts et soudains causés par une réinjection du signal («larsen»). Ceux-ci risqueraient d’endommager votre audition ou de causer d’autres problèmes.

Micro non reconnu

• N’utilisez pas de concentrateur (hub) USB avec cette unité. Connectez toujours l’unité directement à un port USB de l’ordinateur.

• Si les méthodes ci-dessus ne résolvent pas le problème, connectez l’unité à un autre port USB de l’ordinateur.

Entrée micro impossible

• Vérifiez que le commutateur MUTE n’est pas enclenché.

• Le micro est-il sélectionné comme périphérique d’entrée sur l’ordinateur utilisé? Est-il désactivé?

Aucun son n’est produit

• La prise casque est-elle correctement branchée?

• Le bouton VOLUME est-il réglé à un niveau

approprié?

• Le micro est-il sélectionné comme périphérique de sortie sur l’ordinateur utilisé? Est-il désactivé?

• Le câble utilisé n’est-il conçu que pour l’alimentation électrique? Utilisez le câble fourni.

Le volume est faible

• Le bouton VOLUME est-il réglé à un niveau approprié?

Le son souffre de distorsion

• Le bouton GAIN est-il réglé trop haut?

Le son se coupe ou il y a du bruit

• Vérifiez que les câbles de connexion n’ont pas de faux contacts.

• La charge de traitement de l’ordinateur peut entraîner des interruptions du son et la production de bruits.

Si un réseau local (LAN) sans fil ou un logiciel en tâche de fond, y compris un logiciel antivirus, sont en service, désactivez-les durant l’utilisation de cette unité. De plus, réglez «Options d’alimentation» sur «Performances élevées» dans le panneau de configuration de l’ordinateur (Windows).

• Utilisez un port USB intégré à l’ordinateur car le port USB de l’ordinateur affecte la connexion USB.

Uso del micro

1. Reduzca al mínimo el ajuste de los mandos GAIN

y VOLUME .

2. Desactive el botón MUTE.

3. Use el cable USB incluido (tipo A a tipo C) para

conectar el micro a un puerto USB de un ordenador. Cuando la conexión USB esté activa, el piloto que está encima del botón MUTE se iluminará en verde.

NOTA

• Conecte esta unidad directamente al ordenador, no a través de un hub USB.

• Cuando conecte esta unidad usando cualquier otro tipo de cable USB, su funcionamiento no estará garantizado. Además, no puede usar cables de tipo C a tipo C.

4. Conecte unos auriculares a la toma de

auriculares de la parte inferior del micro.

CUIDADO

Antes de conectar unos auriculares, reduzca al mínimo el volumen con el mando VOLUME. El no hacer esto puede dar lugar a la aparición de ruidos fuertes, capaces de dañar sus oídos o dar lugar a otros problemas.

5. Acceda a la pantalla de ajustes de Sonido del

ordenador que esté usando. Localice y elija este micro (TM-250U) como dispositivo de entrada y salida, y confirme que no haya sido desactivado.

6. Gire el mando VOLUME aproximadamente hasta

su punto medio. Después, mientras habla o canta hacia el micro, suba y ajuste el mando GAIN hasta llegar a un nivel que no haga que la voz distorsione.

7. Mientras da salida a una señal audio desde el

ordenador, use el mando GAIN para ajustar el nivel de la entrada de micro hasta obtener un balance adecuado. Después, utilice el mando VOLUME para ajustar el volumen global.

NOTA

El botón MUTE solo anula la entrada de micro. Las señales procedentes del ordenador serán emitidas desde la toma de auriculares independientemente del ajuste del botón MUTE.

CUIDADO

No coloque el micro cerca de o apuntando a un altavoz o auriculares. El hacerlo puede dar lugar a la aparición de ruidos fuertes producidos por la realimentación. Esto puede dañar sus oídos o dar lugar a otros problemas.

Resolución de problemas

Si detecta algún problema al usar esta unidad, pruebe con los siguientes puntos antes de solicitar asistencia técnica.

Si estas medidas no solucionan el problema, póngase en contacto con el comercio en el que adquirió la unidad o con el servicio de atención al cliente de TASCAM.

El micro no es reconocido

• No use un hub USB con esta unidad. Conecte siempre esta unidad directamente al puerto USB del ordenador.

• Si los puntos anteriores no solucionan el problema, conecte esta unidad a un puerto USB distinto en el ordenador.

No es posible la entrada de micro

• Compruebe que el botón MUTE no esté activo.

• ¿Ha elegido esta unidad como dispositivo de entrada

en el ordenador que esté usando?¿Está desactivada?

No es emitido ningún sonido

• ¿Están correctamente conectados los auriculares a la toma?

• ¿Ha subido el mando VOLUME a un nivel adecuado?

• ¿El cable que está usando ha sido diseñado únicamente para carga de corriente? Use el cable incluido.

El volumen es muy bajo

• ¿Ha subido el mando VOLUME a un nivel adecuado?

El sonido distorsiona

• ¿Ha ajustado el mando GAIN demasiado alto?

Hay cortes en el sonido o ruidos

• Confirme que no haya problemas en los cables de conexión.

• La carga de procesado en el ordenador puede hacer que se produzcan cortes en el sonido y ruidos.

Si está usando una LAN inalámbrica o un software en segundo plano, incluyendo programas antivirus, desactívelos mientras use esta unidad. Además, ajuste las “Opciones de ahorro de energía” en el Panel de control del PC a “Alto rendimiento” (Windows).

• Use un puerto USB propio del ordenador y no use un hub intermedio, dado que el puerto del ordenador afecta a la conexión USB.

5. Rufen sie die Sound-Einstellungen des Comput-

ers auf. Wählen Sie das Mikrofon (TM-250U) als Eingabe-

6. Stellen Sie den VOLUME-Regler ungefähr in die

Problembehebung

Sollten Sie bei der Benutzung des Mikrofons auf Schwierigkeiten stoßen, probieren Sie bitte zunächst die folgenden Lösungsvorschläge aus, bevor Sie es zur Reparatur einliefern.

Wenn Sie das Problem damit nicht beheben konnten, wenden Sie sich an Ihren Fachhändler oder an einen Tascam-Servicepartner.

Das Mikrofon wird nicht erkannt

• Verwenden Sie keinen USB-Hub oder -Verteiler. Verbinden Sie das Mikrofon immer direkt mit einem der USB-Anschlüsse des Computers.

Questa è una porta USB di tipo C. Il cavo USB incluso (da tipo A a tipo C) può essere

Utilizzo del microfono

1. Ridurre al minimo le manopole GAIN e VOLUME.

2. Disattivare il pulsante MUTE.

3. Usa il cavo USB incluso (da Tipo A a Tipo C)

per collegare il microfono a una porta USB del computer. Quando la connessione USB funziona, l’indicatore sopra il pulsante MUTE si accende in verde.

NOTA

• L’unità deve essere collegata direttamente al computer, non tramite un hub USB.

• Il funzionamento non e garantito se collegato tramite un altro cavo USB. Inoltre, non e possibile utilizzare cavi da tipo C a tipo C.

4. Collega le cuffie al jack per cuffie nella parte infe-

riore del microfono.

ATTENZIONE

Prima di collegare le cuffie, ridurre al minimo il volume con la manopola VOLUME. In caso contrario, potrebbero verificarsi forti rumori improvvisi, che potrebbero danneggiare l’udito o causare altri problemi.

5. Aprire la schermata delle impostazioni del suono

sul computer utilizzato in modo appropriato. Mostra e seleziona questo microfono (TM-250U) come dispositivo di input e output e conferma che non è stato disabilitato.

6. Ruotare la manopola VOLUME circa a meta.

Quindi, parlando nel microfono, alzare e regolare la manopola GAIN a un livello che non distorca la voce.

7. Durante la trasmissione dell’audio dal computer,

utilizzare la manopola GAIN per regolare il livello dell’ingresso del microfono per ottenere un bilanciamento adeguato. Quindi, utilizzare la manopola VOLUME per regolare il volume generale.

NOTA

Il pulsante MUTE disattiva solo l’ingresso del microfono. I segnali dal computer verranno emessi dalla presa delle cuffie indipendentemente dallo stato del pulsante MUTE.

ATTENZIONE

All parts except heads and disk drives are warranted for one (1) year from the date of original purchase. Heads and disk drives are warranted for ninety (90) days from date of original purchase. Labor is warranted for ninety (90) days from date of original purchase.

We will pay all labor and material expenses for items covered by the warranty. Payment of shipping charges is discussed in the next section of this warranty.

HOW YOU CAN GET WARRANTY SERVICE

Your unit must be serviced by an authorized Gibson service station in the United States. (This warranty is not enforceable outside the U.S.) If you are unable to locate an authorized Gibson service station in your area, please contact us. We either will refer you to an authorized service station or instruct you to return the unit to the factory. Whenever warranty service is required, you must present a copy of the original dated sales receipt from an Authorized Gibson Dealer. You must pay any shipping charges if it is necessary to ship the product to service. However, if the necessary repairs are covered by the warranty, we will pay return surface shipping charges to any destination within the United States.

フロントパネル

1 インジケーター

電源が入っているパソコンに接続されている場合は緑色に点灯し、MUTEボタンがオンの場合は赤色に点灯します。

2 MUTEボタン

マイク信号をミュート（消音）します。

ステレオヘッドホンを接続するためのステレオミニジャック（φ3.5mm）です。ステレオ標準プラグ（φ6.3mm）のヘッドホンを接続する場合は、変換アダプターをご使用ください。

常な使用状態で保証期間内に故障が発生した場合には、ティアック修理センターが無料修理致します。

本体の保証期間は、お買い上げの日から1年です。

保証期間内に故障して無料修理を受ける場合は、本

使用方法

GAINつまみとVOLUMEつまみを最小にします。

音切れ、ノイズが発生する

接続ケーブルが接触不良になっていないか、確認して

ください。パソコンの負荷が原因で音切れやノイズが発生します。

無線LANや常駐ソフト（アンチウィルスソフトなど）が動作している場合は停止してご使用ください。また、パソコンの「電源オプション」を「高パフォーマンス設定」にしてご使用ください。

USB接続はパソコン側のUSB端子の影響を受けるため、

パソコン本体のオンボード上のUSBポートに接続してください。
