These Operating Instructions belong to these
earphone. It contains important information about the start-up and handling.
Study these Operating Instructions and, in particular the Safety information in detail prior to using the ear­phone. Non-observance of these Operating Instruc­tions can lead to damage to the earphone.
These Operating Instructions are based on valid stan­dards and regulations of the EU. Also observe specific guidelines and laws in other countries! Keep Operating Instructions for further use. When passing on the ear­phone to third parties please also include these Opera­ting Instructions.

Safety
Correct use
The Bluetooth earphone are exclusively designed as earphone. The earphone are only suitable for priva­te and not for commercial use. Only use earphone as described in the operating instructions. Any other use is deemed to be incorrect and can cause material damage.
The manufacturers or dealers do not accept any liability for damage resulting from improper or incorrect use.
Safety information
Bluetooth® devices work with shortwave radio signals. These can interfere with other electronic devices and medical devices.
Switch off earphone in areas where their use is not permitted.
Do not use the earphone within medical facilities, on board of aircrafts, at filling stations or in the vicinity of automatic fire sensors or automatically controlled equipment.
Keep your earphone at least 20 cm away from car­diac pacemakers and other medical devices. Radio signals can interfere with the functioning of cardiac pacemakers and other medical devices.

WARNING!
Danger of electrocution!
Faulty electrical installations or excessive mains voltage can cause electrocution.
Only connect earphone if mains voltage of socket corresponds with information on the rating plate.
Only connect earphone to an easily accessible socket allowing quick disconnection from the power supply in case of a fault.
Do not operate earphone in case of visible damage or if the USB charging lead or the USB mains connec­tor is defective.
Damaged USB charging leads of earphone must be replaced by the manufacturer or customer service or a similar qualified person.
Never touch mains connector with wet hands.
To charge the integrated battery connect the supplied USB charging cable to a mains socket using a USB mains adapter (not inclu­ded) or to a USB port on your PC.
Do not open housing but have repair carried out by an expert. Contact a specialist workshop. All liability and warranty claims shall be void in case of repairs carried out by users, incorrect connection or impro­per use.

For repairs only use parts corresponding to the ori­ginal devices. This equipment contains electric and mechanical parts required for protection against hazard sources.
Never immerse earphone or accessories in water or other fluids.
Never store earphone in such a way that it can fall into a trough or wash basin.
Never use mains cable as a carrying handle.
Keep earphone and accessories away from open flames and hot surfaces.
Install USB lead in such a way that it does not beco­me a trip hazard. Do not kink USB lead and do not install it over sharp edges.
Never touch an electric device that has fallen into water. Disconnect device from power supply imme­diately in such a case.
Ensure that children do not push objects into ear­phone.
When not in use, clean earphone or in case of a fault, always switch off earphone and pull mains connec­ter out of socket.

These earphone may be used by children 8 years or older and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience or know-how provided they are supervised or have been instruc­ted on how to safely use earphone and understand hazards resulting therefrom. Children may not play with earphone. Earphone may not be cleaned or maintained by children without supervision.
Keep earphone and connection lead way from child­ren below the age of 8.
Do not leave earphone unintended during operation.
Keep packaging foil away from children. They could get caught in it during play and could suffocate.
NOTE!
Danger of damage!
Incorrect use of the earphone can damage the earphone.
The integrated battery may not be exposed to excessive heat, fire or similar.
Do not throw batteries into fire, short-circuit bat­teries or take batteries apart. Danger of fire and explosion.
Battery must be disposed off in line with the Battery Directive.
CAUTION!
Do not operate the earphone during running or driving. You could fall or cause a traffic accident.

Please open packaging carefully.
1. Remove earphone from packaging.
2. Check that delivery is complete (see Fig.A).
3. Check earphone or parts for damage. If yes, do not use the earphone. Contact the service address of the manufacturer listed on the Warranty card.

Charging the battery
Prior to initial use of the earphone or in case of low battery level the integrated batteries must be charged. The earphone can then be connected to a Bluetooth® device, such as a Smartphone or a tablet PC.
A low battery level is signalled by the earphone giving off five audio signals and the control red LED flashing

Putting on ear adapter

Establishing Bluetooth® connection
To set up a new connection between the earphone and a Bluetooth® device, the earphone must be switched on in the connecting mode. Switch earphone on by depressing multi function button

for approx. 8 se-
conds until the control LED

flashes blue and red.
The process for setting up a connection can, however, differ from one Bluetooth® device to the next. Please also consult the manual of the Bluetooth® device for further information.
Proceed as follows:
1. The distance between the earphone and the Blue­tooth® device must not exceed 1 m.
2. Switch earphone on in connection mode (see above).
3. Activate Bluetooth® function using your Bluetooth® device.
4. Search for Bluetooth® devices within your range and select “Crane Headphone“ from the list of avai­lable devices.
5. Where required, enter password “0000“ (not requi­red for devices using Bluetooth® V2.1 or higher).
6. Select “Yes” if queried whether you wish to connect.
7. Select “Crane Headphone“ from the list of available devices.

Where no connection can be established, switch off earphone and retry. The battery of the earphone may have to be rechar­ged or the distance to the Bluetooth® device may have to be reduced.
Once the connection has been suc­cessfully established it is saved in the earphone and in the Bluetooth® device. The connection is then automatically established as soon as the earphone and the Bluetooth® device are within range again.
When switched on, the earphone auto­matically connect to the last connected Bluetooth® device. In order to connect to another device according to points 1-8, the Bluetooth® function of the currently connected device must first be switched off.
Use in Bluetooth®-mode
Once connected to a Bluetooth® device, the earphone can be used to listen to music, select titles and volume. You can also answer phone calls via your earphone when connected to a Smartphone.

Playing back music
If the connected Bluetooth® device supports standard A2DP, wireless transmission of music to the earphone is possible.

In some mobile phones music is played back through the speakers of the mobile phone rather than through the earphone. In this case select form mobile phone options that audio playback should be through Bluetooth® device “BSK-10“.
Once the minimum or maximum volume setting has been reached, a short signal tone can be heard.
Functions “Previous title“, “Next title“, “Pause“ and “Playback“ are only availa­ble for Bluetooth® devices supporting the AVRCP standard. Please also consult the manual of the Bluetooth® device for further information.
Phone calls
You can answer phone calls from the connected Smartphone. For this purpose, the earphone contain a microphone.
The functions available via the earphone are listed be­low. Please note, however, that not all listed functions are available on all Smartphone models. Please also ob­serve the information in the Smartphone manual.

Any water that has entered the housing can cause a short circuit.
Never immerse the earphone in water.
NOTE!
Danger from incorrect operation!
Incorrect use of the earphone can cause damage.
Do not use any aggressive cleaners, brushes with metal or nylon bristles or sharp or metallic cleaning objects, such as knives, hard spatulas and similar. These can damage the surface.
Never place the earphone in the dishwasher. This would destroy them.

Storing

1. Pull out mains connector prior to cleaning.
2. Let the earphone cool down completely.
3. Wipe the earphone with a slightly damp cloth. Let all parts dry completely.
Storing
Switch earphone off if not using for a longer period of time and store separately. On a day-to-day basis and over longer periods the batteries can be kept at a dry location out of reach of children.

Do not dispose of used earphone in house­hold waste!
If the earphone can no longer be used each consumer is legally obliged to dispose of
used earphone separately from domestic
waste, e.g. at a collecting point of the municipality/dis-
trict. This ensures that used equipment is recycled cor­rectly and that negative effects on the environment are avoided. Electrical equipment is consequently marked with the adjacent symbol.
Batteries and storage batteries may not be disposed of in domestic waste.
As a consumer you are legally obliged to cor-
rectly dispose of all batteries and storage bat­teries irrespective of whether they contain contaminants or not. Storage batteries and batteries do therefore contain the adjacent
symbol. Prior to disposal, the integrated batteries must first be
removed and disposed off separately from the housing. Never remove batteries yourself. This could lead to in-
juries. Contact the dealer from whom you bought the device or take it to the collection and returns point of your local council
