Soundcraft’s agship large-format digital mixing console. Vistonics™ II user
interface with FaderGlow™ fader function display. Touch-screen colour TFT
monitor screens with integral rotary controls and switches mounted in the
glass. 96 mono inputs into 35 outputs. Pairs of mono inputs can be linked
to create stereo channels. 24 insert send/return pairs can be congured and
assigned to any of the 96 inputs or 35 outputs. All 96 input channels can
have direct outputs in addition to their internal bus routing. 32 Grp/Aux/
Matrix, plus main LCR Mix and LR Solo busses. Connection from local rack to
stagebox via standard t Cat5 or Cat7 cable, with Amphenol RJF connectors
or optional bre optical interface card. Max distance, local rack to stagebox:

Vi2
Soundcraft now oers a Vi Series control surface for applications where space
is very tight. The new Soundcraft Vi2 inherits all the basic functionality of its
larger brothers the Vi4 and Vi6, but measures just 850mm in width, around
half the size of a Vi6. The Soundcraft Vi2 is equipped with one channel section
of 8 input faders, and the master section which holds 12 faders. The Vi2 can
handle as many inputs as a Vi4 or Vi6 (72 and 96 channels respectively) using
the standard stagebox and local rack hardware, with access to 8 inputs at a
time on the channel bay.

Vi Local Rack Option Cards
A complete standalone console package with 32 channels of analogue input
to 27 analogue outputs, plus 6 digital inputs, 4 Stereo FX Returns and 6 digital
outputs in one chassis. As standard, Input to mix capacity is 46chs, but by
adding a stagebox (compatible with the existing Vi racks), simultaneous channel count increases to 64. Channels are routable to 24 multifunction busses,
plus LR and Mono Mix busses. Up to 8 of the busses can be congured as
Matrix mixes, each with up to 16 sources. The surface is just over a metre
wide, and includes 16 motorised channel faders with xed and user-denable
layers, 8 output/VCA faders and 2 master faders.

Cost eective, yet fully professional, compact 8-bus audio mixing console for
on-air, production, hard disc front end and transfer applications. All chassis
are tted with LB6 Aux, Master and LB4 Monitor modules, in addition to the
modules listed below. Each LB2 dual group module provides 2 pannable
mono groups, a stereo FX return and a cleanfeed (mix minus) master. All
chassis are of the “drop through” type for furniture mounting. All consoles
include a meterbridge with moving-coil VU meters and bargraph meters
or the group and master outputs according to chassis size. BB100 standard
congurations below are complete consoles including MPS5 or MPS10 Power

The B800 is a specialised yet highly exible modular broadcast mixer, drawing
on Soundcraft’s experience of designing and customising consoles for the
broadcast audio market. Modules are connected to internal bussing via
motherboard construction, audio connections are via balanced XLRs, and
all internal mix busses are balanced to achieve a high degree of isolation,
noise and interference rejection, and robust signal handling. Five frame sizes,
accepting up to 48 inputs. 8 mono or 4 stereo groups, two fully independent
stereo master output modules. 6 mono and 2 stereo aux sends. Extensive
monitoring and cue facilities and several sets of speaker and phones outputs.
4 VCA groups. Frame includes PSU. Meterbridge includes cue speaker,
talkback XLR and meter selector. Blank panels should be included where
necessary to complete the frame/meterbridge space.
