About This User Help

This user help is comprised of the following chapters:

 Chapter 1, Introducing SafeGuard PortAuditor, page 5, introduces the SafeGuard

PortAuditor solution. It describes its features and benefits, in particular the new features.

 Chapter 2, Installing SafeGuard PortAuditor, page 8, describes the system requirements for

installing the product and the installation process.

 Chapter 3, Auditing, page 13, describes how to perform audit scans, along with all the filters

and settings available. Also described are the options for viewing scan results and
explanations about the various fields in the reports.

 Appendix A, Acquiring a License Key, page 28, describes the steps you need to take in order

to purchase and install an update for the product.

 Appendix B, Command Line Automation, page 30, describes how to use command line

switches to automatically configure and run SafeGuard PortAuditor scans.
