How to browse Reader Store and purchase content
Open your Reader Library soware to access over 1,000,000 eBooks.

1 Search or browse through categories and subjects to
nd eBooks, newspapers or magazines of your choice.
2 Click on “Add to Cart” or simply click on “Buy Now” for
even quicker checkout.
4 Click on “Checkout” to review your purchase.
5 Click on “Complete Purchase” to purchase and
download titles.

How to register Reader Library soware to your computer and authorize your new device

1 Go to readerstore.sony.com and click on “Download
Soware” button in top right corner.
2 Select to download Reader Library soware to your PC
or Mac and click “FREE download.” Click “Run” to begin download.
3 Choose setup language, click “OK” and complete
“Install Wizard.”
4 Once you’ve installed Reader Library Soware, you will
need to set up an account.
5 Connect your Reader via provided USB to authorize it
for use with the Reader Library. Go to“Manage Devices” to add your Reader.
6 Reader will be located at the bottom under “We have
detected the following attached devices.” Click “Authorize this device” to register your Reader.
Checking books out from your local public library

1 Visit readerstore.sony.com
2 Click on “Library Finder” in the “Featured Links”
Category on the le side of the page.
3 Your internet browser will redirect you to
sonysearch.overdrive.com/
4 Search for a public library by State or Zip Code.
5 Click on your choice of public library from search results.
6 To borrow an eBook, follow the instructions from your
public library’s website.

How to use advanced features
1 Highlighting
On desired page, tap twice at the start of the text us-
ing the stylus and drag.
Text will be highlighted black.
Tap once to cancel highlight.
2 Dictionary
On desired page, highlight a word by tapping twice
and dragging to the end.
Dictionary will pop up at the bottom of the screen
with suggestions for highlighted word (if any).
3 Taking Notes
On desired page, select “Options.”
Select “Notes” from the menu.
Select “Create/Edit.”
On the pop-up menu at the top, select the “Notes” icon.
Drag across desired text which will then be highlighted
grey indicating a note has been made.
