1.3. Camera Units

Camera unit is not supplied with the codec. For details on operations and setting s, refer to the operatin g instruct ions for the camera unit.

1.3.3. Camera Cable

3-meter long camera cable is supplied with the unit. If you wish to extend the camera cable, do at your own responsibility. Before starting actual operation, be sure to verify operation.

1.3.4. HDMI IN Connector (PCS-XG100S only)

An HDMI output camera like Handyca m can be co nnected to HDMI IN. If using it as the second camera, make appropriate setting under “Camera” setup menu “Second Camera Input”.
Notes
Playback of a Blu-ray disc cop y-guarded cannot be input to the HDMI IN connector as it
does NOT support H DCP.
Supported HDMI version is 1.4b. Without HDMI IN, connect as shown in the figure below.
In case of not using HDMI IN * Do the same way when PCS-XG77S is used.
Audio Input
To send HDMI audio to a remote party, set “AUX” as “Audio Input”. In order not to send HDMI audio t o a r em ot e par t y, set “MIC” as “Audio Input”. The above settings are enabled regardless of “Link to Audio Input” setting.
Note
Other AUX audio input will be ignored if set.
