Operating system requirements

Windows 2000/XP, CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drive, USB port, PC connection software (ActiveSync)

Installing the software and map data to the main unit

Prepare a “Memory Stick Duo,” “MagicGate Memory Stick Duo” or “Memory Stick Pro Duo” with enough memory space for the map data that you want to transfer.

1Turn off the main unit and insert a “Memory Stick” in the main unit.

2Connect the main unit to your computer with the USB cable, then turn on.

3Insert the supplied disc into your computer.

The software runs automatically.

Transfer the map data to the “Memory Stick” from your computer, following the on-screen instructions.

4Disconnect the USB cable from your computer after completing the transfer.

Tips

•If your computer has a Memory Stick adapter/slot, you do not need to connect the main unit to your computer.

•For details on “Memory Stick,” refer to “Quick Start Guide” supplied with the main unit.

Note

During transfer, do not:

−disconnect the USB cable.

−turn off the main unit, or reset it.

−shut down the computer, or restart it.

Installieren der Software und der Kartendaten auf dem Hauptgerät

Halten Sie einen „Memory Stick Duo“, „MagicGate Memory Stick Duo“ oder „Memory Stick Pro Duo“ mit genug freiem Speicherplatz für die Kartendaten bereit, die übertragen werden sollen.

1Schalten Sie das Hauptgerät aus und setzen Sie einen „Memory Stick“ in das Hauptgerät ein.

2Schließen Sie das Hauptgerät über das USB-Kabel an den Computer an und schalten Sie es ein.

3Setzen Sie die mitgelieferte Disc in den Computer ein.

Die Software wird automatisch gestartet.

Gehen Sie nach den Anweisungen auf dem Bildschirm vor und übertragen Sie die Kartendaten vom Computer auf den „Memory Stick“.

4Lösen Sie nach der Übertragung das USB-Kabel vom Computer.

Tipps

•Wenn Ihr Computer mit einem Memory Stick-Adapter/-Einschub ausgestattet ist, brauchen Sie das Hauptgerät nicht an den Computer anzuschließen.

•Nähere Erläuterungen zum „Memory Stick“ ﬁ nden Sie in der mit dem Hauptgerät gelieferten „Anleitung zur schnellen Inbetriebnahme“.

Hinweis

Während der Übertragung dürfen Sie folgende Schritte nicht ausführen:

−Lösen des USB-Kabels

−Ausschalten oder Zurücksetzen des Hauptgeräts

−Herunterfahren oder Neustarten des Computers

Installation du logiciel et des données cartographiques sur l’appareil principal

Préparez un « Memory Stick Duo », « MagicGate Memory Stick Duo » ou « Memory Stick Pro Duo » comportant un espace mémoire sufﬁsant pour contenir les données cartographiques que vous souhaitez transférer.

1Mettez l’appareil principal hors tension et insérez-y un « Memory Stick ».

2Raccordez l’appareil principal à votre ordinateur à l’aide du câble USB, puis mettez-le sous tension.

3Insérez le disque fourni dans l’ordinateur.

Le logiciel démarre automatiquement.

Transférez les données cartographiques vers le « Memory Stick » à partir de votre ordinateur en suivant les instructions afﬁchées à l’écran.

4Débranchez le câble USB de votre ordinateur une fois le transfert terminé.

Conseils

•Si votre ordinateur dispose d’un adaptateur/d’une fente pour Memory Stick, il n’est pas nécessaire de raccorder l’appareil principal à votre ordinateur.

•Reportez-vous au « Guide de démarrage rapide » fourni avec votre appareil principal pour obtenir de plus amples informations sur le « Memory Stick ».

Remarque

Pendant le transfert :

−ne débranchez pas le câble USB ;

−ne mettez pas l’appareil principal hors tension ou ne le réinitialisez pas ;

−n’arrêtez pas l’ordinateur ou ne le redémarrez pas.

De software en kaartgegevens op de hoofdeenheid installeren

Bereid een “Memory Stick Duo”, “MagicGate Memory Stick Duo” of “Memory Stick Pro Duo” voor met voldoende beschikbaar geheugen voor de kaartgegevens die u wilt overbrengen.

1Schakel de hoofdeenheid uit en plaats een “Memory Stick” in de hoofdeenheid.

2Sluit de hoofdeenheid aan op de computer met de USB-kabel en schakel deze in.

3Plaats de bijgeleverde disc in de computer.

De software wordt automatisch uitgevoerd.

Breng de kaartgegevens over naar de “Memory Stick” vanaf de computer volgens de instructies op het scherm.

4Koppel de USB-kabel los van de computer nadat de overdracht is voltooid.

Tips

•Als de computer beschikt over een Memory Stick-adapter/-sleuf, hoeft u de hoofdeenheid niet aan te sluiten op de computer.

•Raadpleeg de “Beknopte handleiding” bij de hoofdeenheid voor meer informatie over de “Memory Stick”.

Opmerking

Voer tijdens de overdracht de volgende handelingen niet uit:

−De USB-kabel loskoppelen.

−De hoofdeenheid uitschakelen of opnieuw instellen.

−De computer uitschakelen of opnieuw opstarten.

Suggerimenti

Nota

Nota
