Battery (supplied)

•Be sure to charge the battery before using it for the first time. The battery can be charged by using the supplied USB cable to connect the product to the Development/Verification Tool for PLAYSTATION

•Charge the battery at a temperature between 10 °C to 30 °C/50 °F to 86 °F. Charging may not be as effective under other environments.

•Battery duration may vary depending on the usage condition and environmental factors.

•The battery has a limited lifespan. Battery duration will gradually decrease with repeated usage and age. The lifespan of the battery varies depending on how it is stored, the conditions of use, and environmental factors.

The lithium-ion battery within the controller is recyclable. Upon disposal of the controller, remove the battery and dispose of it by following your local rules and regulations.

•Do not disassemble the battery, except upon the time of disposal.

•Please use up as much of the battery charge as possible before disposing.

•For safety purposes, please cover the metal parts of the battery with tape before disposing.

Removing the battery

1. Disconnect the USB cable from the controller.

2. Remove the 5 screws on the back of the controller using a

screwdriver.

3. Take off the outer cover, and remove the battery.
