Master Reset

Sometimes it may turn out necessary to reset the CDM-Z1 mobile telephone. The mobile can be set back at any
time to its basic settings implemented at the factory. This procedure is called “Master Reset”. To perform a “Master
Reset” the mobile has to be switched off initially.

PROCEDURE

• CMD-Z1 is switched OFF.

• Press the Clear Button and the number (4) button simultaneously and ...

• ... slide the Power Switch to the right hand side for about 1 second.

• Next, the set will switch on for 0.5 sec. It will show a blank display with the top row fully ON (top row contains

battery indication, Roaming indication, signal strength indication, etc.).

• Then the following display will come up for 0.5 sec:

• The set will now switch off automatically.

• The mobile is now set back to its default settings.
