Echo Problem
SYMPTOM
During a telephone call originating from the CMD-X2000, the called party can hear the calling party echoing.
SOLUTION
Replace the “Cushion, Microphone” with the new part 3-020-342-01.
IMPORTANT REMARKS
• The original “Cushion, Microphone” is placed on the MMI Board, over the microphone.
• The replacement part, however, should be placed directly on top of the microphone on the front cosmetic, NOT
on the MMI Board.
• After mounting the “Cushion, Microphone” on top of the microphone, peel off the protection plastic on top in order
to allow the “Cushion, Microphone” to stick to the MMI Board when the set is reassembled.
