1. Allgemeines

ILMO WT ist ein selbstlernender Elektronikmotor. Es ist keine Programmierung not­wendig. Er braucht nur angeschlossen zu werden und kann dann ohne besondere
Einstellung in Betrieb genommen werden. Die Endlagen stellen sich automatisch per
Drehmomentabschaltung ein.

2. Anschlussplan

Anschlüsse am 230V Netz dürfen nur durch eine autorisierte Fachkraft erfolgen. Es
besteht Verletzungsgefahr durch Stromschlag! Vor Arbeiten an der Anlage sind alle zu
montierenden Anschlussleitungen spannungslos zu schalten. Die Vorschriften der ört­lichen Energieversorgungsunternehmen, sowie Bestimmungen für nasse und feuchte
Räume nach VDE 0100 sind beim Anschluss einzuhalten. Der Motor darf stets nur in
eine Laufrichtung angesteuert werden. Daher müssen elektrisch oder mechanisch
verriegelte Schalter/Taster verwendet werden. Bei Ansteuerung des Motors durch
Schaltgeräte mit programmierbarer Umschaltzeit, muss diese mindestens 500ms
betragen (z.B. bei Busaktoren; programmierbare Rollladensteuerungen). Mehrere
Elektronikmotoren der Ausführung Somfy ILMO WT dürfen direkt parallel geschaltet
werden. Bei Parallelschaltung ist die maximale Strombelastbarkeit des Schaltgeräts
(Schalter, Schaltuhr, Motorsteuergerät,…) zu beachten. Empfehlung: Nicht mehr als
3-4 Motoren parallel anschließen.

Der Behang muss mit geeigneten Verbindern starr mit der Wickelwelle ver­bunden sein. Diese funktionieren nur dann optimal, wenn der Lamellenein-

stand in den Rollladenkasten in dem von ROMA definierten Bereich liegt
(siehe beiliegende Auswahltabelle). Dies ist vor allem bei nachträglicher Kürzung der
Führungsschienen oder Änderung der Behanglänge unbedingt zu beachten und falls
nötig durch Änderung der Anzahl der Panzerstäbe zu korrigieren!!!

3. Motor zurücksetzen (nur bei Bedarf)

Nach Umbauarbeiten am Rollladenelement (z.B. Austausch des Behangs) sollten die selbstgelernten Parameter des Motors wieder zurückgesetzt werden, bevor er neu in
Betrieb genommen wird:

Variante 1: Mit angeschlossenem Rollladenschalter

1 Rollladen auf halbe Höhe fahren.

2 Rollladen 3 x hintereinander kurz für ca. 1 s in AUF-Richtung fahren.

Rollladen 3 x hintereinander kurz für ca. 1 s in AB-Richtung fahren. Nach dem dritten Mal macht der Motor

eine kurze AUF/AB Bewegung -> Motor ist gelöscht!

Variante 2: Mit Montagekabel

Taste WT 7 s

Motor an das Elektronikmotor-Montagekabel anschließen und Taste WT für ca. 7 s drücken.
Rollladen fährt 2 x kurz AUF und AB -> Motor ist gelöscht!

4. Sonderausführung ILMO S WT

Wird speziell bei schmalen Elementen eingesetzt. Die Motorelektronik befindet sich in einem separaten Gehäuse, das in das Seitenteil des Rollladenlements eingebaut ist.
Bezüglich Anschluss und Funktionsweise gelten die gleichen Hinweise wie oben beschrieben!

1. General information

ILMO WT is an auto-adaptive electronic motor. No programmation necessary. The
motor only has to be implemented and can be put into operation without any further
settings. The final positions are automatically set by an integrated torque limiter.

2. Connecting diagram

Connections of a 230 V-unit may only be implemented by a trained assistant. There is
the risk of injury due to electrocution! Prior to system maintenance, all circuit connec­tions handled with have to be switched to zero potential. The regulations of the local
energy supply company as well as the regulations of wet and damp rooms according
to VDE 0100 must be followed when making the onside connections. The drive may
definitely be energized in only one running direction at a time. Therefore only electri­cal or mechanical interlocked switches or feelers should be used. If the drive gets
energized by a control unit with programmable reversing relay, a reversing-delay time
of at least 500 ms must be ensured (for example with bus actuators; programmable
roller shutter controls). Several Somfy ILMO WT electronic motors can be connected
in parallel. If connecting the drives in parallel, please note the maximum ampacity of
the control unit (switch, clock relay, electronic control unit, etc.). Suggestion: don’t
connect more than 3-4 motors in parallel.

The curtain has to be fixed directly on the shaft with suitable attachments.

Their effective operation can only be assured if the slats’ inlet into the hous-

ing is within the range defined by ROMA (see attached selection table). This
has to be observed particularly in case the guide rails have been cut subsequently or
the curtains’ height has been modified and; if necessary; to be adjusted by adapting
the number of the curtains’ slats.

3. Drive reset (if necessary)

After having completed the modification of the roller shutter (p. ex. exchange of the curtain), the automatically adapted parameters of the drive shall be reset before putting
the drive into operation again.

Option 1: With connected roller shutter switch

1 Drive roller shutter to half heigth.

2 Drive roller shutter in UP-direction 3 times in series shortly for approx. 1 sec.

Drive roller shutter in DOWN-direction 3 times in series shortly for approx. 1 sec. After third time motor

moves shortly UP and DOWN -> motor is deleted.

Option 2: With assembly cable

Key WT 7 sec

Connect motor with electronic motor assembly cable and press key WT for approx. 7 sec.
Roller shutter moves shortly UP and DOWN for 2 times -> motor is deleted.

4. Special model ILMO S WT

This drive is especially used for narrow roller shutters. The drives‘ electronic components are situated in an individual casing which is integrated into the side part of the
roller shutter. For connection an operation please follow the above mentioned instructions!
