2. Consignes de sécurité
Vérifier tous les 6 mois que la porte inverse son mouvement lorsqu’elle rencontre un objet d’au moins
50 mm de haut placé sur le sol. Si ce n’est pas le cas, faites appel à votre installateur.
Avant toute manipulation ou intervention d’entretien, couper l'alimentation électrique.
Ne pas laisser les enfants jouer avec les dispositifs de commande de la porte. Mettre les
télécommandes hors de portée des enfants
Pour l’éclairage intégré, utiliser exclusivement une ampoule 230 V 25 W maxi type E14.
Vérifier fréquemment l'installation pour déceler tout signe d'usure, de détérioration ou de mauvais
équilibrage. Ne pas utiliser le système si une réparation ou un réglage est nécessaire car un défaut
dans l'installation ou une porte mal équilibrée peut provoquer des blessures. Surveiller les
mouvements de la porte et maintenir toutes personnes à distance jusqu’à la fin du mouvement.
PRÉSENTATION DU PRODUIT
Description
Le système FREEROLL RTS a été conçu pour la motorisation de portes de garage enroulables pour
usage résidentiel. Ce système est composé de :
. Un moteur tubulaire (RDO CSI) avec manœuvre de secours.
. Un récepteur de commande et de sécurité (FREEROLL RTS) avec une lumière de courtoisie
intégrée, des boutons de commande en façade, un émetteur pour barre palpeuse et des aimants.
FONCTIONNEMENTS ET UTILISATION

b. Fonctionnement de la détection d’obstacle
La détection d’une surcharge pendant l’ouverture provoque l’arrêt de la porte (fonction anti-lift).
La détection d’un obstacle pendant la fermeture provoque l’arrêt et la ré-ouverture partielle de la porte.
Pour revenir en mode de fonctionnement normal, l’envoi d’une commande est nécessaire. Cette
commande ne sera pas prise en compte par le système.
c. Fonctionnement de l’éclairage intégré
L’éclairage s’allume à chaque mise en route de la motorisation. Il s’éteint automatiquement au bout de
2 minutes après la fin du mouvement de la porte.
2. Fonctionnements particuliers
Selon les périphériques installés et les options de fonctionnement programmées par votre installateur,
le système FREEROLL RTS peut avoir les fonctionnements particuliers suivants :
a. Fonctionnement avec un Feu orange clignotant
Le feu orange s’allume avec une pré-signalisation de 2 sec avant le début du mouvement de la porte.
Il s’éteint automatiquement 2 minutes après la fin du mouvement de la porte.
b. Fonctionnement avec cellules reflex
Un obstacle placé entre les cellules empêche la fermeture de la porte.
Si un obstacle est détecté pendant la fermeture de la porte, celle-ci s’arrête puis se réouvre
partiellement.
La LED extérieure clignote ROUGE RAPIDE jusqu’à ce que l’obstacle soit supprimé (elle changera
ensuite en ORANGE FIXE).
c. Fonctionnement avec le Buzzer Alarme
L’alarme se déclenche pendant 5 minutes si la porte est soulevée manuellement au-dessus de
l’Aimant BAS. Pour arrêter l’alarme, appuyer sur un bouton d‘une télécommande appairée.

DIAGNOSTIC DE FONCTIONNEMENT
Les indications de fonctionnement de la porte sont données par la LED extérieure du récepteur.
Elle varie sur trois couleurs: ROUGE, VERT et ORANGE. Les indications de fonctionnement sont
détaillées ci-dessous.

FREEROLL RTS is a product that must be installed inside the garage with a built-in back-up control
system (RDO CSI motor).

2. Safety instructions

Every 6 months, test that the motor drive unit reverses its motion when it encounters an obstacle that
is at least 50 mm from ground level. If this is not the case, call your installation specialist.
Before manually operating the door or performing maintenance work, always turn the power off.
Never let children play with door control systems. Keep the remote controls out of reach of children.
When replacing the light bulb, select a 230 V 25 W E14 type.
Regularly check the operation of the door to identify any sign of wear, deterioration or incorrect
balancing. Do not operate the door if repairs or adjustments are required.
Remain at a safe distance when operating the door.
PRODUCT PRESENTATION
Description
The FREEROLL RTS system is designed to power rolling garage doors in residential use. This drive
system comprises:
. A tubular motor (RDO CSI) with manual override head.
. A receiver and control unit (FREEROLL RTS) with integrated courtesy light, control buttons on the
cover, Safety Edge Transmitter and magnets.

b. Obstacle detection operation
The detection of excess weight during door opening will stop the door (anti-lift function)
The detection of an obstacle during door closure will stop and partially re-open the door.
To go back to a normal operation mode, it is necessary to operate on the system. This operation won’t
be taken into account by the system.
c. Integral lighting operation
The light will come on every time the control unit is operated. It will go out automatically after 2
minutes once the door stops.
2. Special operation
Depending on the peripherals installed and the operating options set by your installer; the FREEROLL
system may perform the following special operations:
a. Orange Warning Light
The Orange Warning Light will come on with a 2 sec warning every time the control unit is operated. It
will go out automatically after 2 minutes once the door stops.
b. Safety photoelectric cell operation.
An obstacle detected between the cells will prevent the door from closing.
The door will stop and then partially reopen when an obstacle is detected during the close cycle.
The cover LED will blink RAPID RED until the obstacle is removed (then it will change to SOLID
AMBER).
c. The Alarm buzzer function
If the roller is lifted manually above the BOTTOM Magnet, the alarm sounds for five minutes.
To reset the alarm press a button on a remote control. The rolling garage door will start moving in the
up direction.

TROUBLESHOOTING
The cover control unit LED indicates the status of the control unit and rolling door.
The cover LED is a three-colour: RED, GREEN and AMBER lamp mounted on the front of the control
unit. The status indications are detailed below:

MAINTENANCE
1. Change the batteries of the remote controls

2. Replacing the bulb in the light unit
Remove the light cover from the top of the unit by pressing in at the bottom
on both sides (see arrows) and lifting it away from the unit. The front cover
can now be lifted a few centimetres clear of the unit.
3. Checking the obstacle detection function
Every six months, check that the door reverses direction when an obstacle prevents the door from
closing (at least 50 mm above floor level).
4. Checking the safety mechanisms (Photo-electric cells)
Check correct operation every six months.

Für die integrierte Beleuchtung ist ausschließlich eine E14-Glühbirne 230 V, max. 25 W, zu
verwenden.
Die Anlage oft prüfen, um Anzeichen von Verschleiß, Beschädigung oder falscher Einstellung
frühzeitig zu erkennen. Das System nicht verwenden, wenn eine Reparatur oder eine Einstellung
erforderlich ist, da es bei einem Montagefehler oder einem schlecht ausgewogenen Tor zu
Verletzungen kommen kann. Die Öffnungs- und Schließbewegungen des Tors überwachen und
darauf achten, dass alle Personen bis zum Ende der Bewegung einen Sicherheitsabstand einhalten.
PRODUKTBESCHREIBUNG
Das FREEROLL System wurde für den Antrieb von Garagenrolltoren für den Privatbereich entwickelt.
Dieses System besteht aus:
. einem Rohrmotor (RDO CSI) mit Notbedienung.
. einem Empfänger für Steuerung und Sicherheit (FREEROLL RTS) mit einer integrierten
Beleuchtung, Tastern für die Bedienung an der Frontseite, einem Sender für die Kontaktleiste und
Magneten.

b. Betrieb der Hindernisfunktion
Wird beim Öffnen eine Überlast erkannt, wird das Tor angehalten (Antilift-Funktion).
Bei Erkennung eines Hindernisses während des Schließens wird das Tor angehalten und wieder
teilweise geöffnet.
Um wieder zum normalen Betriebsmodus zurückzukehren, muss ein Befehl gesendet werden. Dieser
Befehl wird vom System nicht berücksichtigt.
c. Betrieb der integrierten Beleuchtung
Die Beleuchtung funktioniert bei jeder Inbetriebnahme des Antriebs. Sie erlischt automatisch 2
Minuten nach Ende der Torbewegung.
2. Besondere Betriebsweisen
Je nach installierten Peripheriegeräten und Betriebsoptionen, die von Ihrem Monteur programmiert
wurden, kann das FREEROLL System die folgenden Sonderbetriebsmodi besitzen:
a. Betrieb mit einer orangefarbenen blinkenden Warnleuchte
Die orangefarbene Warnleuchte leuchtet 2 sec vor Beginn der Toröffnung auf. Sie erlischt automatisch
2 Minuten nach Ende der Torbewegung.
b. Betrieb mit Fotozellen
Ein Hindernis, das die Lichtschranke unterbricht, verhindert das Schließen des Tors.
Wenn während des Torschließens ein Hindernis erkannt wird, hält das Tor an und öffnet sich wieder
teilweise.
Die äußere ROTE LED blinkt SCHNELL, bis das Hindernis freigegeben wird (sie leuchtet
anschließend UNUNTERBROCHEN ORANGE).
c. Betrieb mit Alarm-Buzzer
Der Alarm wird für 5 Minuten ausgelöst, wenn das Tor manuell bis über den UNTEREN Magneten
angehoben wird. Um den Alarm auszuschalten, drücken Sie den Taster eines konfigurierten
Funkhandsenders.

BETRIEBSDIAGNOSE
Die Anzeigen zum Betrieb des Tors erfolgen über die äußere LED des Empfängers.
Sie kann in drei Farben leuchten: ROT, GRÜN und ORANGE. Die Betriebsanzeigen werden unten im
Detail aufgeführt.

El producto FREEROLL debe instalarse en el interior del garaje con un sistema de mando de
emergencia integrado (consulte las instrucciones de los motores RDO CSI).

2. Consignas de seguridad
Compruebe cada 6 meses que la puerta invierte su movimiento al detectar un objeto de al menos 50
mm de alto situado en el suelo. Si no fuera el caso, póngase en contacto con su instalador.
Antes de cualquier manipulación o intervención de mantenimiento, desconecte la corriente eléctrica.
No deje que los niños jueguen con los dispositivos de mando de la puerta. Ponga los mandos a
distancia fuera del alcance de los niños
Para la luz integrada, utilice exclusivamente una bombilla de 230 V 25 W máx. de tipo E14.
Compruebe con frecuencia la instalación para detectar cualquier signo de desgaste, de deterioro o de
equilibrado incorrecto. No utilice el sistema si es necesario realizar cualquier reparación o ajuste; un
fallo en la instalación o una puerta mal equilibrada puede provocar lesiones. Vigile los movimientos de
la puerta y mantenga alejadas a todas las personas hasta que finalice el movimiento.
PRESENTACIÓN DEL PRODUCTO
Descripción
El sistema FREEROLL se ha diseñado para la motorización de puertas de garaje enrollables para uso
residencial. Este sistema está formado por:
. un motor tubular (RDO CSI) con manipulación de emergencia.
. un receptor de mando y de seguridad (FREEROLL RTS) con una luz de cortesía integrada, botones
de mando en el frontal, un emisor para barra sensible e imanes.
FUNCIONAMIENTO Y UTILIZACIÓN

b. Funcionamiento de la detección de obstáculo
La detección de un sobrepeso durante la apertura detiene la puerta (función anti-lift).
La detección de un obstáculo durante el cierre detiene la puerta y vuelve a abrirla parcialmente.
Para volver al modo de funcionamiento normal hay que enviar una orden desde el mando. Esta orden
no será tenida en cuenta por el sistema.
c. Funcionamiento de la luz integrada
La luz se enciende cada vez que se pone en marcha la motorización. Se apaga automáticamente dos
minutos después de finalizar el movimiento de la puerta.
2. Funcionamiento particular
Según los periféricos instalados y las opciones de funcionamiento programadas por el instalador, el
sistema FREEROLL puede tener los siguientes funcionamientos particulares:
a. Funcionamiento con una luz naranja intermitente
La luz naranja se enciende con una preseñalización de dos segundos antes del inicio del
desplazamiento de la puerta. Se apaga automáticamente dos minutos después de finalizar el
movimiento de la puerta.
b. Funcionamiento con células réflex
La presencia de un obstáculo entre las células impide el cierre de la puerta.
Si se detecta un obstáculo durante el cierre de la puerta, ésta se para y vuelve a abrirse parcialmente.
El indicador luminoso exterior parpadea en ROJO RÁPIDO hasta que el obstáculo se elimina (luego
cambia a NARANJA FIJO).
c. Funcionamiento con timbre de alarma
La alarma se activa durante cinco minutos si la puerta se levanta manualmente por encima del imán
INFERIOR. Para apagar la alarma, pulse un botón de algún mando a distancia configurado.

DIAGNÓSTICO DE FUNCIONAMIENTO
Las indicaciones de funcionamiento de la puerta las facilita el indicador luminoso exterior del receptor.
Puede ponerse de tres colores: ROJO, VERDE y NARANJA. Las indicaciones de funcionamiento se
detallan a continuación.
