Before start ing the assem bly of your unit , make s ure that you have gat hered all the necessary t ools y ou may require to assemble the unit properly . Hav ing all of t he neces s ary equipm ent at hand will sav e tim e and mak e the as s embly quick and hass le-f ree.
Cl ear your wor k area:
Make sure that you hav e cleared away a large enough space t o properly assemble t he unit. Mak e sure t he spac e is f ree from anyt hing that may cause injury during assembly . Aft er the unit is fully assem bled, m ak e sure t here is a comfortable amount of free
area around the unit f or unobst ructed operation.

First connect the Com put er Wire - Upper (72) t o the C omputer Wire - Middle (74) and the Hand Puls e Wire - Upper (71) t o the H and Pulse W ire - Middle (73). Then attac h the
Com put er (42) to the C ons ole Upright Tube (43) and sec ure using t wo M6 x 15mm Bolts (44).
Att ac h the H andlebar – Left (48) t o the C ons ole Upright Tube (43) and s ec ure using t hree M8 x 10mm Bolt s (27). Att ach t he Handlebar – R ight (50) t o the Cons ole Upright Tube (43)

LEVEL AD JU STMENT:
To adjust the le velers follow these instructions: Y ou will need s omeone t o help you wit h this procedure, as y ou will need t o tip rec umbent bikes on its s ide. Tip the recumbent bike t o the left/right. You will t hen see t he LEVEL AD JUSTERS. These will need t o be sc rewed either in or out
to lev el the rec umbent bike. Repeat for t he other side. It may help t o use a spirit lev el when adjusting the lev el on y our recumbent bike.

COMPUTER INSTRUCTIONS
BUTTONS AND FUNCTIONS STOP:
Press STOP t o pause t he functions during y our exercise program . All t he data on the dis play will f reeze. Press START to res ume the program and all t he data dis played will c ont inue until t he program has f inished. If t he STOP button is pres s ed twice, all t he da t a will return to 0 and t he com put er will ret urn to POW ER ON status.
START:
Press START t o begin y our exerc is e.
ENTER:
Press ENTER to con firm the setting of progra m.
MODE:
Switches the LED window display information bet ween SPEED/TIME/DISTANCE/CALORIES and R PM/W ATTS/PACE/PULSE.
SPEED:
Dis plays current exerc is e speed.
LEVEL:
Displays the current level of intensity of your exercise program.
CALORIES:
Count up: t his m eas ures t ot al calories burned during ex erc ise. Count down: if you hav e set the num ber of c alories, the c omputer will c ount down f rom that pres et number down t o zero. This data
is a guide and s hould not be us ed for m edical as s essment. Pleas e note when setting a t arget this is in block s of 10 from 0 t o 990.
TENSION (RESISTANCE): Disp l ays the cu r r e n t resistance level from 1 to 20.
DISTANCE:
Count up: t his m eas ures t he total dist anc e f rom 0 t o 99.9 Km / Mile. Count down: if y ou have s et t he target dist anc e, t he computer will c ount down from that preset distance down to zero as soon as
you start exercising.
WATT: This displays your c urrent wattage output .
TIME:
Count up: t he com put er meas ures total ex erc ise t im e f rom 16: 00 up to 99: 00. Count down: if you hav e set the t arget t im e, t he computer will c ount down from that preset time down t o 0:00.
QUICK START:
When t he bike is in t he POWER ON stat us, press the START but t on to activ ate t he QUICK START program . The TI ME, DI STANC E and C ALORIES will c ount up when you start ex erc ising.
PROGRAM:
To select one of the U s er programs , you will need to s et up a us er prof ile. To input new inf ormation, pleas e follow the proc edure below:
WEIGHT s et up – After the U s er Code has been c onf irmed t he TIME dis play will show 68k g/ 150lbs or t he prev ious setting and begin f las hing. Press the U P/DOWN button to adjust the us er weight inf ormation then press ENTER t o conf irm.
HEIGHT s et up – After the W EI GHT has been conf irmed t he DISTANCE dis play will show 170c m/67 inches or the previous set t ing and begin f lashing. Pres s the UP/ D OWN butt on to adjus t the user height inf ormation then press ENTER t o confirm.

AGE s et up – Af t er the H EIGHT has been conf irm ed the CALOR I ES display will s how 35 or t he prev ious s etting and begin flas hing. Press the U P/DOWN button to adjust the us er age inf ormation then press ENTER t o conf irm.
SEX set up – After the AGE has been c onf irmed t he LOAD DENSITY display will s how M (Male) and begin f lashing. Press the UP/ D OWN button to adjus t the user s ex t o M (Male) or F (Female) t hen press ENTER t o conf irm.
ENGL I SH to METR I C conversion :
The bike computer display can s how both ENGLI SH and METR IC information. If y ou want to c hange from ENGLI SH to METRI C, please f ollow t he procedure below:

Aft er you hav e pressed the P1 MANUAL program button, t he display will show the default user prof ile. I nput t he user prof ile then the TIME display will s how 30: 00. Press the U P/DOWN button to adjust the t arget time t hen press ENTER t o conf irm. Press
START to begin t he exercise program . The TI ME will s t art t o count down t o 0:00 t hen the program will st op autom atically. To increas e or decreas e the res istanc e while ex ercising, pres s the UP/ D OWN butt on.
To pause the program while exercising, pres s the STOP button. To res um e exerc is ing, pres s the STAR T button.
1. When t he bike is in t he power on stat us, press and hold bot h the EN TER and STOP buttons f or 3 s ec onds. The LOAD D ENSITY dis play will show a blink ing ML.
2. Press the U P or DOW N buttons to s witch bet ween ENGLISH (ML) and METRIC (KM) t hen press the EN TER butt on to c onf irm t he selection and ret urn to POW ER ON s t atus.
P2: GOAL
Aft er you hav e pressed the P2 GOAL program button, the display will s how the def ault us er profile. I nput the user prof ile then the TIME display will s how a blink ing 0:00. Pres s the UP/ D OWN butt on to adjus t the target time then press ENTER to c onf irm. Repeat
the s ame proc edure to s et up y our goal on D I STANCE, CALOR I ES and TAR GET H EAR T R ATE. Press START t o begin the exerc is e program. To inc rease or dec rease t he resistance while ex ercis ing, pres s the UP/ D OWN butt on.

P3: RANDOM
Aft er you hav e pressed the P3 RANDOM, t he display will show t he default user profile. Input the us er profile t hen the TIME dis play will show a blinking 30: 00. Press the U P/DOWN button to adjust workout t im e then press ENTER t o conf irm. Press START to
begin the exercise program . The RAND OM program has 50 different RESISTANCE based programs. If while exercising, y ou find t he level of R ESI STANCE t oo
intens e you c an press the U P/DOWN butt on to dec reas e the res istance. To pause the program while exercising, pres s the STOP button. To res um e exerc is ing, pres s the STAR T button.

The RPM display will show a blink ing L1. Press the U P/DOWN butt on to select t he workout int ens ity lev el f rom L1 to L10 then press ENTER t o conf irm. Pres s START to begin the ex erc ise program .
The aim of an INTERVAL program is to exerc is e at lev els of LOW and HI GH intensity f or short periods of time. There is one profile with 10 dif f erent lev els of intensity . The res istance will be c hanged autom at ically while exercising acc ording to t he following prof ile.
To increase or decreas e the res istanc e while ex ercising, pres s the UP/ D OWN butt on.
To pause the program while exercising, pres s the STOP button. To res um e exerc is ing, pres s the STAR T button.
IN TERVAL Profile: If t he user s ets the workout time f or more t han 20 minut es the com put er will average t he work out time int o 20
sec t ions as the f ollowing Resistance Prof ile table s hows, i. e. input 40 minut es and t he com put er will operat e in 2 minut e interv als f or each s ection display ed. If t he user s ets the work out time f or less than 20 minutes,
the c omputer will operat e in 1 m inute int erv als f or each s ection display ed until t he tim e runs out , i.e. input 12 minut es and t he program will run f or 12 sec t ions at 1 m inute per s ection.

The factory TARGET H EAR T R ATE setting is bas ed on 85% of the max im um heart rat e. The maximum heart rate is calculated as 220 minus the user age. Exam ple: For a 35-y ear old user t he max im um user
heart rat e should be 185 (220 – 35 = 185) and 85% of t he maximum user heart rate is 157. The us er cannot adjust the t arget heart rate in this program. Press START t o begin the ex ercis e program.
The resist ance will s t art f rom lev el 1 when you begin t his program . If t he act ual user heart rate does not reach t he target heart rate, the res istance will inc reas e by one level ev ery 30 s ec onds unt il the ac t ual user heart rate reaches the t arget heart rate. The PERSONAL program allows us ers t o design and store their own pres et workout programs in the c omputer. The maximum tim e duration is 60 minut es.

The first line of t he LOAD D ENSITY display will light up and blink. Press the UP/DOWN button to set the resistance level in f irst minute. After completing the set up for the first minute of resistance, press t he MODE button. The second line of the LOAD D ENSITY display will start blinking. Follow t he same procedure t o set up the ent ire
program. When t he program s et up is complete, pres s the STAR T button to run t he program. The program will autom at ically be sav ed in the c omputer f or fut ure use.

Please k eep all c hildren away f rom t he equipment during use and when equipm ent is unattended. Alway s wear appropriate c lothing, including at hletic shoes , when exerc is ing. D o not wear loos e clot hing that could bec ome c aught
during exerc ising. Make sure that all bolt s and nut s are t ight ened when equipm ent is in use. Periodic m aintenance is required on all ex erc ise
equipment to k eep it in good condition.
Before beginning:
How y ou begin y our ex ercise program depends on y our physical c ondit ion. If you hav e been inactiv e for s everal y ears, or are severel y overweight , you must start slowly and increase your time gradually, a few minute s per week.
Init ially y ou may be able t o exercise only for a f ew m inut es in y our target zone. H owev er, y our aerobic f itness will im prov e over the next six to eight weeks. D on’t be discouraged if it takes longer. It’s import ant to work at y our own pac e. U lt imately, y ou’ll be able
to ex ercise cont inuous ly f or 30 minut es. And t he better your aerobic f itness, the harder you will hav e to work t o st ay in y our target zone. But remem ber these ess ent ials:
C ont act your phy s ician bef ore st arting a workout or t raining program. H av e your doctor review your t raining and diet programs to adv is e y ou of a workout rout ine you s hould adopt.
Begin y our training program slowly with realist ic goals that have been s et by you and y our doct or.
Supplem ent your program with som e ty pe of aerobic exercise suc h as walking, jogging, s wimm ing, danc ing and/or
bicy c ling. Monitor your puls e frequently. If y ou do not have an electronic heart rate m onitor, hav e your physic ian show you t he proper way to manually check y our pulse by using your wrist or neck . Es t ablish y our target heart rat e based on
your age and condit ion.
Drink plenty of fluids during t he course of your rout ine. You m ust replace t he wat er content los t from excessive ex erc ising
to av oid dehy drat ion. Av oid drinking large am ounts of c old liquids. Fluids should be at room tem perat ure when consumed.

Finding your pulse:
To make sure y our heart is beating in its target zone, you’ll need t o know how to monitor your heart rate. The easiest way is to feel the puls e in t he carotid artery on either s ide of y our neck , between t he windpipe and t he large nec k muscles. Count t he number of
beats in ten s econds, and t hen mult iply that num ber by s ix. This giv es y ou the num ber of beats per minut e. How f ast should y our heart beat during aerobic ex ercise? F ast enough to reac h and s t ay in its “target zone,” a range of beat s per
minut e that is largely determined by your age and physical c ondit ion. To determine y our target zone, c ons ult t he chart we hav e provided.

Warm up and cool down:
A successf ul exerc is e program c onsists of a warm-up, aerobic exercise, and a cool-down. D o the ent ire program at least two and preferably three t im es a week, resting f or a day bet ween workout s. Af t er sev eral mont hs, you c an increase your workouts to f our or
fiv e times per week. Warm ing up is an important part of y our workout, and s hould begin ev ery session. I t prepares your body f or more strenuous
exerc is e by heat ing up and stretching out your m uscles, increasing your c irculation and puls e rate, and delivering more oxygen to your m uscles. At the end of y our work out, repeat t hes e exerc is es t o reduce s ore muscle problem s. We s uggest the warm-up and

Toe Touch:
Slowly bend forward from your waist, letting y our back and shoulders relax as y ou
stretch toward your toes. Reac h down as far as you can and hold f or 15 counts.

Shoulder Lift:
Lift your righ t shoulder up toward your ear for one count . Then lif t y our left
shoulder up for one c ount as you lower y our right shoulder.

feet as c los e into y our groin as possible. Gent ly push your knee s towards the floor.

Sid e Stretch:

they are ov er y our head. Reac h your right arm as far upward toward the c eiling as
you can for one count. Feel the stretch up y our right side.
Repeat this act ion with y our left arm.
Head Roll:
Rotate your head to the right for one count, feeling the st retch up the left side of your
neck . N ext, rotate y our head back for one c ount, st retching your c hin to t he ceiling and
letting your mouth open. Rotate your head to the left for one count, and f inally,

Hamstr ing Stretch:
Sit with your right leg extended. Rest the sole o f your left foot against your
right inner thigh. St retch toward your toe a s far a s poss ible. H old for 15 c ounts.
Relax and then repeat with left leg ext ended.
Calf-Achilles Stretch:
Lean against a wall wit h y our left leg in front of the right
