672 SERIES PowerPEX™ AccuCrimp
SPECIFICATION
Sioux Chief AccuCrimp ASTM F2159 manifolds shall be used in plumbing systems
for safe distribution of hot or cold water when used in standard plumbing practices.
Manifolds shall be used in new construction or remodel applications, utilized in
AccuCrimp manifolds shall be listed to appropriate standards and include integrally
sealing barbs.

For use with hot and cold water distribution systems.

HANDLING AND USE (!)
Solvents, glues, lubricants, glycol, pipe dopes, thread oils and paste should not
and direct sunlight (UV exposure). Max Working Temperature: 210 ºF (99 ºC) @ 150
PSI. Constant Working Temperature: 140 ºF (60 ºC) @ 55 PSI. Manifold should
not be used in any installation within mechanical systems that may have oil or
solvent residue.

INSTALLATION
Check with all local plumbing codes prior to installation.
1. Cut SDR-9 PEX tubing squarely and place ring or sleeve on tube end

proper placement over sealing barbs. For V-Sleeve installs, be sure the tubing
end is witnessed through the sleeve's sight-slots.
3. Place properly calibrated crimp tool over the ring/sleeve at a 90-degree angle to
tubing run and crimp fully. Only crimp once.
4. Use a 'Go/No Go' gauge to assure connection.

Check with all local plumbing codes prior to installation.

connections

• Label the outlet ports with the supplied labels for hot and cold water
