LARGE UNIVERSAL CLAMP FOR STRUT
550 SERIES
SPECIFICATION
Sioux Chief 550 series universal pipe clamp for channel strut is to be used where
necessary to insulate or secure any pipe, conduit or wire ranging from ½" CTS
to 2" IPS wherever channel or strut is used. Variable clamping tension allows for
expansion and contraction. Sioux Chief’s strut clamp does not require tools and
can be used in any channel strut with 1-5/8"width.
INSTALLATION
Insert strut clamp into top of channel strut and twist to lock clamp in
place. Lay pipe in base of clamp and ratchet clamp’s top bridge to secure
pipe, conduit or wire. Additional bridges may be installed as necessary
to install or isolate multiple lines. While Sioux Chief does not recommend
installations where the clamp is inverted hanging beneath the strut, in these
instances the maximum safe working load is 25 lbs.
MATERIALS
Nylon (Black): 100% corrosion proof virgin nylon 66, U.V. protected,
UL94 V-2 rated
E84 Plenum-Safe (Orange): polyvinylidene uoride (PVDF),
meets ASTM E84 25/50 smoke/ame rating and UL94 V-O ame rating
