CTS STRAP
525-02 and 525-03
SPECIFICATION
Sioux Chief 525-02 and 525-03 SimpleStrap™ CTS tube straps shall be used
where necessary to secure ½" and ¾" CTS tubing in residential or commercial
applications. Strap is designed to work with Sioux Chief's perforated 525 series
support brackets (sold separately) to secure horizontal water supply stub outs
when penetrating through a wall or to stabilize ½" or ¾" vertical pipe runs within
the stud cavity. The SimpleStrap is compatible with copper, PEX or CPVC.
MATERIALS
High impact polypropylene
INSTALLATION
Secure bracket to vertical wood or metal studs. Hold strap at an angle and position
small round "tooth" through hole on support bracket at desired location. Move
strap so that the steel bracket fits and rests behind the small vertical ears located
just above the pipe hole. Raise side of the strap opposite where the tooth is
located, up and over to hook onto the bracket. Push CTS tube or stub out through
pipe hole.
