The shock wave head LLSH 140 features an increased penetration depth.

Work steps 1
NOTE
Only the general work process for the upgrade is described. The
detailed work steps are described in the corresponding chapters
of the Service Instructions.
• Move the support arm into the horizontal position.
• Remove the unit cover.
• Empty the cooling circuit and the coupling circuit.
• Remove the shock wave head cover and adjustment adapter. This adjustment adapter
must not be used with the shock wave head LLSH 140.
• Remove shock wave head including coupling bellows.
• Install the new shock wave head.
• Install the new coupling bellows. Due to its increased penetration depth, the coupling
bellows for the shock wave head LLSH 140 has one additional fold.
• Install the adjustment adapter supplied.
• Remove the EMC cover from the circuit board D3.
• On circuit board D3 set DIP switches S1.1 to ON and S1.2 to OFF.
The DIP switches are located above the service switch S2.
• Reinstall the EMC cover for circuit board D3.
• Switch the system on.
• Execute download for host software.
• Fill the cooling circuit and coupling circuit. Watch out for any leaking connections and
repair them if necessary.
• Check the isocenter.
• Replace the covers.
• Perform the system function test.
Final check 1
• Perform the pressure measurement according to instructions SPL2-120.074.01....
