Although highly advanced, the AR-C270
is surprisingly easy to use, even for

making colour copies when B/W copies
have to be made, and vice versa. Machine
operation is further facilitated by a
touch-screen LCD control panel that

instructions.

Efficient Output in Colour and B/W
The AR-C270 employs a tandem printing
method with a short paper path, enabling
a quick output speed of 27 cpm/ppm in

waiting. The optional AR-PE2 print controller incorporates advanced technologies to greatly enhance the
efficiency of multi-page and multi-job printing.
■ RIP-While-Print™ technology enables the AR-PE2 to
begin processing pages while current pages are
printing, increasing throughput on multi-page
documents.
■ Continuous Print™ technology stores processed pages
in memory before printing them out, eliminating the
need to cycle down the AR-C270 between different

Productivity-Enhancing Options
For offices that require higher copying efficiency, several
productivity-enhancing options are available for the AR-C270.
These include a 50-sheet* reversing automatic document
feeder (RADF) and a stackless duplex module that makes
duplex copies from one- or two-sided originals, effectively
reducing paper costs as well as saving filing space. Also
available is a 20-bin stapler sorter and 1-tray finisher for
automatic sorting and stapling of documents. The 1-tray
finisher also gives you offset stacking and facedown output
when printing. For high-volume work, the AR-C270 can
accommodate an optional 3,000-sheet large capacity tray and

faithfully matches the originals, the AR-C270 uses 3D
Neural Nets Technology to make automatic adjustments
according to the characteristics of the scan mechanism and
toner. And if the colour gradations ever become mismatched, the Auto Colour Calibration function will
