Speedy Copying with SOPM
The AR-5623N/5620N/5618N’s Scan Once/Print Many (SOPM) function
stores a scanned original into memory to quickly produce up to 999
copies per page at a continuous copy rate of 23/20/18 cpm. What’s
more, a quick first copy time of 5.9 seconds (AR-5623N)/7.2 seconds
(AR-5620N/5618N) and a fast warm-up time of 25 seconds save
valuable time when performing multiple short-run jobs. For added
convenience, an Electronic Sorting function allows the AR-5623N/
5620N/5618N to automatically collate
multiple sets of copies in page order
without the aid of a sorter.

Built-In Duplex Module and Optional RSPF
The AR-5623N/5620N/5618N can automatically produce duplex copies
from one- or two-sided originals, thanks to a
built-in duplex module. And duplex copying
is even more productive when the optional
40-sheet Reversing Single Pass Feeder (RSPF)
is used along with the module.
Versatile Editing Functions
The AR-5623N/5620N/5618N comes standard with such image-editing
functions as ID Card Copy*, XY Zoom, Dual Page Copy Mode, Rotation
Copy, Margin Shift*, Edge/Centre Erase, and 2-in-1/4-in-1—all of which
make copying more convenient.
* Depending on the region, the default setting will be either ID Card Copy or
Margin Shift, but users can change the default setting via the system setting menu.
Speedy Network Printing
As a high-performance TCP/IP network printer, the AR-5623N/5620N/
5618N incorporates Sharp Printer Language with Compression
(SPLC) technology, which effectively reduces the data size of print jobs
to speed up data transfer and the printing process while improving
overall throughput. Still another timesaving function, RIP Once/Print
Many (ROPM), saves print data in the AR-5623N/5620N/5618N’s
internal memory and transfers it to
output at a fast rate of 23/20/18 ppm.

A3 Colour Scanning over the Network*
The AR-5623N/5620N/5618N’s A3 colour scanning function converts
paper documents into electronic files that can be downloaded to your
PC over the network*. Button Manager makes it easy to scan images
into applications such as Microsoft® Word, e-mail, or OCR. And with the
optional Sharpdesk software, scanned documents and PC-created files
(in Word, PDF, or other formats) can be managed efficiently on a PC.
* On a peer-to-peer basis. Requires bundled connection utility (SC-Scan A).
Large Paper Capacity
The AR-5623N/5620N comes standard with two 250-sheet
front-loading paper trays (one 250-sheet tray for the AR-5618N) and a
100-sheet multi-bypass feeder. Two types of paper drawers are
available for a total paper capacity of up to 1,100 sheets.
