Kurzbeschreibung
SKM 1072-U ist ein Handsender mit integriertem Mikrofon für den Einsatz in
drahtlosen Tonübertragungsanlagen.
Dieser Handsender wird vorwiegend bei Präsentationen, im Theater oder als
Vokalmikrofon eingesetzt. Er kann in der Hand gehalten oder mit der Umhängevorrichtung SZU 1032 vor der Brust getragen werden. Akku BA 1032 und
Ladegerät L 1032 vervollständigen den Handsender SKM 1072-U zum System.

Batterie einsetzen
Setzen Sie die Batterie entsprechend der Zeichnung ein.
왘 Polung beachten!
왘 Nur Alkali-Mangan-Batterien verwenden!
Die angegebene Betriebszeit (siehe technische Daten)
verringert sich sonst deutlich.
Bei regelmäßigem Gebrauch ist es vorteilhaft, statt Batterien wiederaufladbare
Akkus BA 1032 zu verwenden. Diese Akkus sind schnelladefähig.
Akkus BA 1032, Laden im Ladegerät L 1032
Akkus BA 1032 werden mit dem Ladegerät L 1032 und dem passenden Steckertrafo
NT 1032 wieder geladen. Ein Akku kann während der Ladung im Mikrofon
bleiben, ein zweiter kann im passenden Ladeschacht des Ladegerätes geladen
werden. L 1032 und NT 1032 sind als Zubehör lieferbar.
Die Verbindung zwischen Ladegerät L 1032 und SKM 1072-U wird über die Ladekontakte hergestellt (Abbildung nächste Seite).
왘 Achten Sie bitte immer darauf, daß die Ladekontakte sauber,
also metallisch blank sind.

Einstellen der Sendefrequenz / SendeKanalwahl
Stellen Sie mit dem Schalter die gewünschte Sendefrequenz ein. Jeder Zahl auf
dem Schalter ist eine Sendefrequenz zugeordnet. Die genaue Frequenzangabe
finden Sie auf dem Typenschild im Batteriefach.
왘 Achten Sie darauf, daß Sendefrequenz und die am Empfänger
eingestellte Empfangsfrequenz übereinstimmen.
왘 Als Umschaltwerkzeug eignet sich ein kleiner Schrauben-
dreher (Klingenbreite ca. 2 mm)
Einschalten / Empfindlichkeit auswählen
Ein/Aus-Schalter und Wahlschalter für die Empfindlichkeit befinden sich in
einer Mulde im unteren Teil des Gehäuses.
왘 Der häufiger genutzte Ein-Aus-Schalter liegt etwas erhöht.
Nach dem Einschalten vergehen ca. 2 Sekunden. Der Sender benötigt diese Zeit,
um sich auf die gewählte Frequenz einzustellen (PLL-Rastung). Nach kurzer Zeit
leuchtet die rote LED unter dem Schalter zur Kontrolle auf. Sie zeigt an:
wenn sie gleichmäßig leuchtet: die Batterie ist o.k.
wenn sie blinkt: Batterie fast leer, es bleibt nur noch eine

Mit dem Wahlschalter für die Empfindlichkeit wird in Stellung "LOW" das NFSignal abgesenkt. In dieser Einstellung wird eine Übersteuerung bei Nahbesprechung
vermieden.
Handsender stumm schalten
Mit dem Schalter 쐊 haben Sie die Möglichkeit, das Mikrofon dieses Handsenders
abzuschalten ("stummschalten"), ohne dabei die Funk-Übertragung zu unterbrechen.
Dadurch wird ein Aufrauschen des Empfängers beim Stummschalten des Senders
verhindert. Die Schalterstellungen "ON" und "OFF" sind im Schalter gekennzeichnet.
Der Schalter läßt sich verriegeln,
damit ein unbeabsichtigtes Schalten auszuschließen ist:

Reinigung des Einsprachekorbes
Der Einsprachekorb kann zur Reinigung abgeschraubt werden. Die Reinigung
von Korb und Schaumstoffeinlage erfolgt unter klarem Wasser, sie werden am
besten mit einem Fön wieder getrocknet.
왘 Korb und Schaumstoffeinlage erst wieder aufsetzen,
wenn sie vollständig getrocknet sind!
Rauschunterdrückungssystem HiDyn
Dieser Sender ist mit dem Sennheiser-Rauschunterdrückungssystem HiDyn
ausgerüstet. Er arbeitet aber nur einwandfrei, wenn auch der eingesetzte Empfänger
über HiDyn
®
plus
verfügt. Ist dieser nicht entsprechend ausgestattet, ist die Dynamik
plus
®
plus
drastisch verringert, die Übertragung klingt schrill.

Trageweise / Befestigung des drahtlosen Mikrofons
왘 Bei Verwendung als Handsender Empfindlichkeit auf "LOW" einstellen. Bei
Außenbetrieb und Nahbesprechung Windschutz MZW 1032 aufsetzen, er
vermindert Popp- und Windgeräusche.
왘 Mit der Haltevorrichtung SZU 1032 wird der Handsender SKM 1072-U vor
der Brust getragen. Er wird entsprechend der Abbildung befestigt und umgehängt.
In dieser Position sollte der Empfindlichkeitswahlschalter auf "HIGH" stehen.

Brief description
The SKM 1072-U is a hand-held radiomicrophone for use in a wireless sound
transmission system.
It is mainly used for presentations, on stage or as a vocal microphone. The SKM
1072-U can be used as a hand-held transmitter or worn around the neck using the
supplied SZU 1032 lavalier clip. A BA 1032 rechargeable battery and the
corresponding L 1032 charger are available as accessories.

Inserting the battery
Insert the battery as shown in the above figure.
왘 Pay attention to the polarity !
왘 Use only alkaline-manganese batteries or the approved accupack!
Otherwise operating time (see technical data) will be drastically reduced.
For frequent operation it is advisable to use the BA 1032 rechargeable accupack
instead of batteries.
BA 1032 accupack, charge in the L 1032 charging Unit
The BA 1032 accupack is charged in the L 1032 charging unit. The charger
requires the NT 1032 plug-in mains unit. One accupack can be charged in the
microphone, a second spare accupack can be charged at the same time in the
appropriate battery compartment of the charger. L 1032 and NT 1032 are available
as accessories.
The SKM 1072-U is connected to the L 1032 charger via charging contacts (see
figure on next page).
왘 Please take care that these contacts are clean.

Adjusting the transmission frequency
Adjust the desired transmission frequency with switch . Each number on the
switch corresponds to a transmission frequency. The transmission frequencies are
listed on the type plate in the battery compartment.
왘 Make sure that transmitter and receiver operate on
the same frequency.
왘 Use a small screwdriver (width approx. 2 mm) for switching.
Switching the transmitter on / selecting the sensitivity
The ON/OFF switch and the sensitivity switch are recessed.
왘 As the ON/OFF switch is used more often it is set slightly higher
than the sensitivity switch.
After switching on the transmitter you have to wait approx. 2 seconds as the
transmitter requires this time for adjusting to the chosen frequency (PLL locked).
After a short time, the red LED below the ON/OFF switch will light up. It serves
as a pilot lamp and indicates:
when it is lit: The battery is O.K.
when it blinks: The battery is almost flat, it will only work for about another
if it flickers: A self-test has shown a defect. Please return the microphone

When the sensitivity switch is set to “LOW”, the audio signal is attenuated, thus
avoiding overmodulation when close-miking.
Muting the microphone
With switch 쐊 you can mute the microphone of the hand-held transmitter without
switching off the transmitter itself. This avoids hissing noise in the receiver. The
“ON” and “OFF” positions are clearly marked on the switch.

Cleaning the sound inlet basket
For cleaning, unscrew the sound inlet basket. Rinse the foam protection and the
inlet basket with warm water, then dry with a hairdryer.
왘 Only re-assemble the microphone when the inlet basket and the foam
protection are completely dry!

Microphone use
왘 If the SKM 1072-U is used as a hand-held transmitter the sensitivity
should be switched to “LOW”. For outdoor recordings and close-miking
use the MZW 1032 windshield to reduce pop and wind noise.
왘 If you want to wear the SKM 1072-U around your neck, use the supplied SZU
1032 lavalier clip as shown above. Set the sensitivity to “HIGH”.

Mise en place la pile
Insérez la pile selon figure.
왘 Observer la polarisation!
왘 Utiliser exclusivement des piles alcaline-manganèses!
Sinon l’autonomie indiquée (voir caractéristiques techniques) se réduit
considérablement.
En cas d’emploi régulier, il est recommandable d’utiliser au lieu des piles des accus
rechargeables BA 1032. Il s’agit d’accus à temps de recharge rapide.
Recharger accus BA 1032 dans l’appareil de recharge L 1032
Les accus BA 1032 sont rechargés dans l’appareil de recharge L 1032 en
combinaison avec le transformateur NT 1032. Un accu peut rester dans le
microphone pendant qu’un deuxième accu est rechargé dans le casier de l’appareil
de recharge. L 1032 et NT 1032 sont livrables comme accessoires.
L’appareil de recharge L 1032 et SKM 1072-U sont connectés par des contact de
charge (voir figure page suivante).
왘 Faites attention à ce que les contacts de charge soient toujours propres,
c.-à-d. brillants.

Ajustage de la frequence d’emission
Ajustez la fréquence d’émission souhaitée avec le commutateur . Chaque
numéro sur le commutateur correspond à une fréquence d’émission. Vous trouvez
l’indication exacte sur la plaque signalétique dans le compartiment des piles.
왘 Faites attention à ce que la fréquence d’émission soit la même
que la fréquence de réception ajustée au récepteur.
왘 Comme outil peut être utilisé un petit tourne-vis
(largeur de la lame approx. 2 mm).
Mise en marche / selection de la sensibilite
L’interrupteur et le commutateur pour la sensibilité se trouvent en retrait
dans la partie inférieure du boîtier du micro.
왘 L’interrupteur qui coupe le son du micro est plus facilement accessible.
Après la mise en marche passent environ 2 secondes. Ce temps est nécessaire
pour que l’émetteur puisse s’ajuster à la fréquence sélectionnée (circuit PLL).
Au bout d´un court instant, la LED rouge sous l´interrupteur s´allume comme
témoin. Elle indique :
Quand elle reste allumée: la pile a une autonomie suffisante
Quand elle clignote: la pile est presque épuisée, elle ne vous
assurera plus qu´une demi-heure de
fonctionnement

Le signal BF est atténué quand le commutateur pour la sensibilité est en position
“LOW”. Dans cette position toute distorsion est évitée même avec une courte
distance bouche-microphone.
Couper le son du micro
Avec le commutateur 쐊, vous pouvez couper le son du microphone de l´émetteur
à main sans interrompre la transmission. Ceci évite du grésillement dans le
récepteur. Les positions“ON” et “OFF” sont marquées au-dessous du commutateur.

Nettoyage de la grille
Il est possible de dévisser la grille pour la nettoyer. Rincer la mousse protectrice et
la grille sous l´eau tiède. Les sécher ensuite au sèche-cheveux.
왘 Attention à remonter la grille et la mousse une fois le séchage complet
effectué.

Utilisation Du Microphone sans fil
왘 Si le SKM 1072-U est utilisé comme émetteur à main, la sensibilité doit
être ajusté à “LOW”. En cas d‘une utilisation à l‘extérieur ou d‘une courte
distance bouche-microphone, il est conseillé d‘utiliser la bonnette antivent MZW 1032 réduisant les plosives et bruits de vent.
왘 La bandoulière SZU 1032 permet de porter le SKM 1072-U devant la poitrine.
La figure ci-dessus montre comment fixer et porter l’émetteur. Dans cette
position le commutateur pour la sensibilité doit être ajusté à “HIGH”.
En cas de problemes ...

Breve descrizione
SKM 1072-U è un trasmettitore manuale con microfono integrato per l’impiego
negli impianti di trasmissione audio senza fili.
Questo trasmettitore manuale viene impiegato prevalentemente per presentazioni,
in teatro o come microfono vocale. Può essere tenuto in mano o trasportato davanti
al petto con il dispositivo per appendere SZU 1032. L’accumulatore BA 1032 e
l’apparecchio di ricarica L 1032 completano il trasmettitore manuale SKM 1072U trasformandolo in un sistema.

Inserimento delle pile
Inserire le pile in base al disegno.

La durata di funzionamento indicata (vedi i dati tecnici)
si riduce altrimenti nettamente.
Per l’impiego regolare è conveniente usare accumulatori ricaricabili BA 1032 al
posto delle pile. Questi accumulatori sono del tipo a ricarica rapida.
Accumulatori BA 1032, ricarica nell’apparecchio di ricarica L 1032
Gli accumulatori BA 1032 vengono ricaricati con l’apparecchio di ricarica L 1032
ed il trasformatore ad innesto adatto NT 1032. Un accumulatore può rimanere nel
microfono durante la ricarica, un secondo può essere ricaricato nell’apposito vano
dell’apparecchio di ricarica. L 1032 e NT 1032 sono fornibili come accessori.
Il collegamento tra l’apparecchio di ricarica L 1032 e SKM 1072-U va effettuato con
i contatti di ricarica π (figura pagina successiva).
왘 Fare sempre attenzione che i contatti di ricarica siano puliti, cioè
presentino una lucentezza metallica.

Regolazione della frequenza di trasmissione
Regolare la frequenza di trasmissione desiderata con l’interruttore . Ad ogni
numero sull’interruttore è assegnata una frequenza di trasmissione. L’indicazione
precisa della frequenza è riportata sulla targhetta nel vano della pila.
왘 Fare attenzione che la frequenza di trasmissione e la
frequenza di ricezione regolata sul ricevitore coincidano.
왘 Per effettuare la commutazione è adatto un piccolo cacciavite
(larghezza lama ca. 2 mm).
Inserimento/selezione della sensibilita’
L’interruttore di inserimento/disinserimento e il selettore per la sensibilità si
trovano in una conca, nella parte inferiore della scatola.
왘 L’interruttore di inserimento-disinserimento, usato con più frequenza,
è leggermente pronunciato.
Dopo l’inserimento passano ca. 2 secondi. Il trasmettitore ha bisogno di questo tempo
per regolarsi sulla frequenza selezionata. (Arresto anello ad aggancio di fase (PLL).
Dopo breve tempo il LED rosso sotto l’interruttore si accende a fini di controllo indicando:

se lampeggia: che la pila è quasi scarica, è rimasta solo ancora una

Il selettore per la sensibilità permette di ridurre il segnale BF nella posizione
„LOW“. In questa regolazione viene evitata una sovramodulazione nell’impiego a
breve distanza.
Silenziamento del trasmettitore manuale
L’interruttore 쐊 permette di disinserire („silenziare“) i microfoni di questo
trasmettitore senza interrompere la radiotrasmissione. Si impedisce così la formazione
di rumore del ricevitore durante il silenziamento del trasmettitore. Le posizioni
dell’interruttore „ON“ e „OFF“ sono contrassegnate nell’interruttore.

Pulizia dello schermo di protezione
Lo schermo di protezione può essere smontato per la pulizia. La pulizia dello
schermo e dell’inserto di espanso va eseguita usando acqua limpida, e i due
componenti possono essere asciugati preferibilmente con un asciugacapelli.
왘 Riapplicare lo schermo di protezione e l’inserto di espanso solo se sono
completamente asciutti!

Modo di trasporto/fissaggio del microfono senza fili
왘 Per l’impiego come trasmettitore manuale la sensibilità va regolata su „LOW“.
Per l’esercizio all’esterno e a breve distanza deve essere applicato il paravento
MZ 1032, che evita i rumori „popp“ e i fruscii.
왘 Il SKM 1072-U va portato sul petto con il dispositivo di fissaggio SZU 1032.
Il microfono viene fissato e agganciato in base alla figura. In questa posizione
il selettore di sensibilità si trova su „HIGH“.

Este transmisor manual se emplea principalmente en presentaciones, en el teatro,

Forma de colocar la pila
La pila se colocará según se indica en la ilustración.
왘 Téngase cuidado de no invertir la polaridad.
왘 Utilícense exclusivamente pilas de álcali y manganeso
De lo contrario, el tiempo de servicio disminuirá considerablemente (véanse
datos técnicos).
Al usar el equipo regularmente, en lugar de utilizar pilas es recomendable utilizar
acumuladores recargables BA 1032, que pueden cargarse rápidamente.
Acumuladores BA 1032, forma de recargarlos en el cargador L 1032
Los acumuladores BA 1032 se recargan con el cargador L 1032 y el transformador
enchufable NT 1032. Durante el proceso de carga uno de los acumuladores puede
permanecer dentro del micrófono mientras el otro se inserta en el compartimiento
especial del cargador. Los aparatos Ll 1032 y NT 1032 pueden suministrarse como
accesorios.
La conexión entre el cargador L 1032 y el aparato SKM 1072-U se establece por
medio de los contactos de carga (véase la ilustración en la página siguiente).
왘 Téngase siempre cuidado de que los contactos de carga permanezcan
siempre limpios, es decir, que el metal esté brillante.

Reglaje de la frecuencia de transmision
El interruptor sirve para regular la frecuencia de transmisión. Cada una de las cifras
del interruptor corresponde a una frecuencia de transmisión. En la placa de características
del compartimiento de las pilas se encuentran los datos exactos sobre frecuencias.
왘 Tenga en cuenta que la frecuencia de transmisión y la frecuencia de
recepción regulada en el receptor deben ser idénticas.
왘 Como útil puede usarse un destornillador pequeño (hoja de 2 mm de ancho).
Conectar el aparato y elegir la sensibilidad
Tanto el interruptor de conexión y desconexión como el interruptor selector
para la sensibilidad se encuentran en una cavidad en la parte inferior de la carcasa.
왘 El interruptor de conexión/desconexión, usado con más frecuencia, sobresale
ligeramente.
Tras conectar el aparato, espere unos dos segundos. El transmisor requiere ese
período para adaptarse a la frecuencia elegida (enclavamiento PLL). Como
control, poco después se ilumina el LED rojo que hay debajo del interruptor:

Al estar el selector de sensibilidad en posición „LOW“, disminuirá la señal de BF.
De tal forma se evita que se produzca sobreexcitación al hablar muy cerca al aparato.
Desconectar el sonido del transmisor manual
El interruptor 쐊 le permite a Vd. desconectar („silenciar“) el micrófono de este
transmisor manual sin necesidad de interrumpir la transmisión radiofónica. Con
ello se evitan los ruidos en el receptor, en el momento en que se desconecta el sonido
en el transmisor. En el interruptor están señaladas las posiciones „ON“ y „OFF“.

Limpieza de la jaula del microfono
Para limpiarla, la jaula del micrófono puede desatornillarse. La jaula y la pieza
interior de tejido esponjoso se limpian sencillamente con agua, y se secan con un
secador de pelo.
왘 Antes de volver a colocarlas, cerciorarse de que tanto la jaula como la
pieza interior de tejido esponjoso estén completamente secas.

Forma de llevar o sujetar el microfono inalambrico
왘 Al utilizarlo como transmisor manual, regúlese la sensibilidad a „LOW“. Para
transmisiones exteriores y al hablar muy de cerca al micrófono, utilícese la
caperuza antiviento MZW 1032, que disminuye las detonaciones y los ruidos
ocasionados por el viento.
왘 El dispositivo SZU 1032 permite llevar los transmisores SKM 1072-Ucolgados
al cuello. El transmisor se sujeta según muestra la ilustración. En tal caso, el
interruptor selector de sensibilidad se colocará en posición „HIGH“.

Dit Sennheiser-produkt zal u gedurende vele jaren overtuigen door middel van

Beknopte beschrijving
SKM 1072-U is een handzender met een geïntegreerde microfoon voor gebruik in
draadloze geluidsinstallaties.
Deze handzender wordt hoofdzakelijk bij presentaties, in het theater of als vocale
microfoon gebruikt. De zender kan in de hand worden gehouden of met de omhangvoorziening SZU 1032 voor de borst worden gedragen. De accu BA 1032 en het
laadapparaat L 1032 maken van de handzender SKM 1072-U een compleet systeem.

wordt anders duidelijk verminderd.
Bij regelmatige toepassing is het voordelig in plaats van batterijen oplaadbare
batterijen BA 1032 toe te passen. Deze batterijen kunnen zeer snel worden
opgeladen.
Batterijen BA 1032 laden in het laadapparaat L 1032
De batterijen BA 1032 worden met het laadapparaat L 1032 en de passende
stekkertransformator NT 1032 opnieuw opgeladen. Een batterij kan tijdens het
laden in de microfoon blijven, een tweede batterij kan in de passende laadschacht
van het laadapparaat worden geladen. L 1032 en NT 1032 zijn als accessoires
leverbaar.
De verbinding tussen het laadapparaat L 1032 en SKM 1072-U wordt via de
laadcontacten gemaakt (afbeelding volgende pagina).

Instellen van de zendfrequentie
Stel met behulp van de schakelaar de gewenste zendfrequentie in. Ieder getal op
de schakelaar hoort bij een zendfrequentie. De preciese frequentievermelding
vindt u op een typeplaatje in het batterijvak.
왘 Let erop dat de zendfrequentie en de op de ontvanger
ingestelde ontvangstfrequentie overeenstemmen.
왘 Als omschakelgereedschap kunt u een kleine schroevendraaier
(breedte ca. 2 mm) gebruiken.
Inschakelen (gevoeligheid selecteren)
Aan/Uit-schakelaar en selectieschakelaar voor de gevoeligheid zijn in een
uitholling in het onderste deel van het huis ondergebracht.
왘 De vaak gebruikte aan/uit-schakelaar is iets hoger gelegen.
Na het inschakelen verlopen ongeveer 2 seconden. De zender heeft deze tijd nodig
om zich op de gewenste frequentie in te stellen (PLL-arreteerinrichting). Na korte
tijd gaat de rode LED onder de schakelaar ter controle branden. Deze toont
wanneer ze gelijkmatig
brandt: de batterij is o.k.
wanneer ze knippert: batterij is bijna leeg, er is nog slechts een half uur
wanneer ze Zelftest toont foutieve functie. service noodzakelijk.

Met de selectieschakelaar voor de gevoeligheid wordt het NF-signaal in de stand
„LOW“ verminderd. In deze stand wordt een overmodulatie bij dichtbij inspreken
vermeden.
Handzender a.u.b. stom schakelen
Met de schakelaar 쐊 heeft u de mogelijkheid de microfoon van deze handzender
uit te schakelen („stom schakelen“) zonder daarbij de radio-uitzending te
onderbreken. Daardoor wordt het ruisen van de ontvanger bij het stom schakelen
van de zender verhinderd. De schakelaarstanden „ON“ en „OFF“ zijn op de
schakelaar gekenmerkt.

om een onopzettelijk schakelen te vermijden:

Reiniging van het spreekkorfje
Het spreekkorfje kan er voor de reiniging afgeschroefd worden. De reiniging van
korfje en schuimstof voering vindt onder helder water plaats. Ze kunnen het beste
met een föhn weer worden gedroogd.
왘 Korfje en schuimstof voering er pas weer opzetten wanneer ze helemaal
droog zijn.
Ruisonderdrukkingssysteem HiDyn
Deze zender is voorzien van het Sennheiser ruisonderdrukkingssysteem HiDyn
De zender werkt echter alleen probleemloos, wanneer ook de toegepaste ontvanger

Draagwijze/bevestiging van de snoerloze microfoon
왘 Bij de toepassing als handzender dient de gevoeligheid op „LOW“ te worden
ingesteld. Bij toepassing in de open lucht of nabij inspreken dient de
windbescherming MZW 1032 te worden toegepast. Hierdoor worden popen windgeluiden verminderd.
왘 Met de omhangvoorziening SZU 1032 wordt de SKM 1072-Uop de borst
gedragen. Deze wordt volgens de afbeelding bevestigd en omgehangen. In
deze positie staat de gevoeligheids-selectieschakelaar op „HIGH“.
