WARRANTY
1.SATO America, Inc. warrants that, when purchased from an authorized
SATO America, Inc. distributor, this printer is in good working order
and is free from defects in workmanship and materials.
2.The warranty period is one (1) year from the date of purchase, excluding the print head. The warranty period for the print head is one (1)
year or 500,000 linear print inches, whichever comes first.
3.Modification of the printer, improper use or maintenance will void the
printer warranty. The use of non-approved thermal carbon ribbon or
physical damage to the print head will void the print head warranty.
4.You may obtain warranty service for this printer by returning it to:
SATO America, Inc., 545 Weddell Drive, Sunnyvale, CA 94089.
5.You must prepay all shipping charges to the above address and assume
all risk of loss or damage in shipment. You must also include proof of
purchase of the printer, including the purchase date.
6.The printer will be repaired or replaced, at SATO America, Inc.’s option, and returned to you prepaid via United Parcel Service. Standard
warranty repair is five (5) working days, but SATO America, Inc. cannot guarantee that all repairs will be completed within this time.
7.If, on our inspection, it is determined that the warranty has been voided
for any reason, you will be notified prior to the initiation of any chargeable repair activity.
8.The foregoing warranties are the only warranties provided by
SATO America, Inc. in connection with the products covered by
this warranty, and are in lieu of all other warranties whether expressed or implied. The remedy provided herein is the sole remedy
should the printer fail to conform to the foregoing warranties.
SATO America, Inc. hereby disclaims all other warranties, including, without limitation, the implied warranties of merchantability
and fitness for a particular purpose.
9.SATO America, Inc. shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages or any other loss or expense directly or indirectly
arising from any use of the printer by you or any other person, or
the failure of the printer to operate. In no event shall SATO America, Inc. be liable to you or any other person for damages exceeding
the amount paid by you for the printer.
