INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS for

Secure bottom retainer to surface of finished floor

with (3) three round head screws and anchors.

Secure top retainer to surface of top stop with (4) no. 14 x 1" flat head
wood screws or with (4) 1/4"-20 x 5/8" flat head machine screws
Determine the length of the mullion by cutting off at the bottom end
1-7/8" less than dim "x". This will give 1/8" clearance at top.

A) IF THE LATCHBOLT DOES NOT SNAP IN THE TOP RETAINER, REMOVE
MULLION AND TURN THE (2) SET SCREWS IN TOP RETAINER IN AND
REINSTALL MULLION.
B) IF TOP OF THE MULLION HAS EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF PLAY, REMOVE
THE MULLION AND BACK OUT THE (2) SET SCREWS IN TOP RETAINER
AND REINSTALL THE MULLION.
C) WHEN TOP OF MULLION IS SECURE, TIGHTEN BOTTOM SET SCREW
ONLY ENOUGH TO REMOVE PLAY FROM THE MULLION.

TO CHANGE OR INSTALL CYLINDER:

Slide chassis assembly into mullion and start lower mounting screw first.
With lower screw in place, install the two remaining screws through the support
plate and into mullion and tighten securely.
Tighten lower mounting screw securely.
#10 - 32 X 3/8" LONG

With chassis installed and secure, depress latchbolt.
#10 - 32 X 1/2" LONG

SUPPORT PLATE
Hold bolt depressed and screw cylinder in (making sure blocking ring is on)
through mullion into chassis until it bottoms out.
Back off until keyway is at the bottom and name on the cylinder is straight.
Tighten locking screw so that end of locking arm mates with slot in the cylinder.
Tighten securely.
