We recommend cleaning after every 10 hours of operation. To make the best possible
recordings, you should clean all surfaces which the tape travels before every recording.
1. Press STOP/EJECT button to open the cassette holder.
2. Wipe the heads, pinch ro ller and capstan with cleaning tip slight moisted with cleaning
fluid or alcohol.
3. After cleaning the heads and tape path, do not insert a cassette until the areas cleaned are
completely dry.

TO LISTEN TO A RADIO STATION
1. Set FUNCTION SELECTOR to “RADIO” position.
2. Set BAND SELECTOR to the desired band.
3. Tune to the desired station by turning the TUNING CONTROL.
4. Adjust VOLUME CONTROL to suit your personal listening preference.
5. To switch the radio off, set the FUNCTION SELECTOR to “TAPE (CD RADIO OFF)”.
TO PLAY A CASSETTE
For operating the cassette deck, follow the steps:
1. Set FUNCTION SELECTOR to “TAPE (POWER OFF)” position.
2. Insert a recorded cassette tape with the tape surface down.
3. Press PLAY button on cassette deck to begin playback.
4. To stop the tape, press STOP/EJECT button on cassette deck.
˙Before inserting a cassette, take up any slack in the tape to prevent it from becoming
tangled around the capstan.
TO RECORD TO A CASSETTE TAPE
Your equipment is able to record your desired sound source either through built in
microphone or RADIO program or the CD.
1. Insert blank cassette in cassette deck.
2. Depress PAUSE button on cassette deck.
3. Depress RECORD & PLAY button on cassette deck.
4. Select your desired program by setting FUNCTION SELECTOR and play the program.
5. To start recording, press PAUSE button on cassette deck again.
6. To stop recording, press STOP/EJECT button cassette deck.
WARNING: Copyright may exist in material you wish to record.

˙The recording level is automatically adjusted by built-in ALC circuit.
˙The recording level is not affected by the VOLUME CONTROL, so you can listen to the
program with any volume.
TAPE RECORDING - From External Microphone (NOT SUPPLIED)
1. Select the Function Selector to TAPE .
2. Insert microphone into the MIC MIXING JACK, which accepts any dynamic microphone
with impedance between 600 and 3000 ohms and 6.3mm diameter standard plug.
NOTED: Always disconnect the microphone when the microphone is not in use.
3. Insert a blank tape with exposed TAPE downwards and full spool to the left.
4. To record, depress the RECORD and PLAY button.
5. To stop recording, press the STOP/EJECT button.

TO PLAY A DISC WITH PROGRAM PLAY MODE
Your unit has a program memory to store the playing tracks up to 20 steps.
1. Install a disc in the CD compartment then close the CD door.
2. In the stop mode, press PROG key, the display shows “00” and “PROG” indicator become
flashing.
3. Select desired track number by pressing SKIP BACK or SKIP FWD keys.
4. The track number will be “00” & “PROG” indicator flashing while press PROG key the
track number will be stored.
5. Repeat step 3 and 4 to continue the programming for up to 20 tracks.
6. During programming, you can press the STOP key to erase all previous entries and
starts from the beginning again.
7. Press the PLAY/PAUSE key to start playing after the desired tracks have been
memorized.
8. Press STOP key once to stop program play, the unit is still in program mode, press
PLAY/PAUSE key again to resume program play.
9. Press the PROG key firstly & press STOP key again will clear the program mode and
return to play mode.
˙While the unit is program play mode, “PROG” indicator is ON.
˙Your programmed memory will be erased by open the CD door or set FUNCTION
SELECTOR other than CD position or unit is switched off.

PLAYING A DISC-AN 8CM (3 INCH) CD CAN BE PLAYED WITHOUT AN
ADAPTOR
1. Set FUNCTION SELECTOR to “CD” position.
2. Open the CD door, place a CD on the turntable and close the CD Door. After few seconds,
the function display shows total number of tracks.
3. Press PLAY/PAUSE button to start playing.
4. Adjust VOLUME to suit your personal listening preference.
5. To stop playing, press STOP button.
˙Do not open the CD door during playing, otherwise, the disc will be damaged. Be sure to
stop the disc first.
˙To play an 8cm (3-inch) disc, place it on the turntable. If the disc is provided with an
adaptor, remove adaptor first. Do not put a normal disc on top of an 8cm (3-inch) disc.
˙The FUNCTION SELECTOR is in either TAPE or RADIO. The CD player does not
operate. This prevents interference to radio reception.
TO SKIP TO OTHER TRACKS
The unit is at the stop mode:
Press the SKIP BACK or SKIP FWD keys to perform track skipping backward or
forward.
The unit is at the play mode:
Press the SKIP FWD key momentary to skip to next track.
Press the SKIP BACK key momentary to back to beginning of same track being
playback.
Press the SKIP BACK key twice quickly to skip to previous track.
TO SEARCH A PORTION WITHIN A TRACK OR TRACKS
Press and hold the SKIP BACK or SKIP FWD keys to perform the high-speed search. Keep
either of the keys pressed until desired portion has been reached.
˙The SKIP function can only be performed when the unit is either the play mode.
˙The SKIP function will be skipped to previous track or next track when reach to the
beginning or end of current track.

二、電源供給
‧打開背面電池蓋,依標示極性,正確放入 1 號電池 8 只後再裝妥電池蓋;亦可不使
用電池,將 AC 電源線一端插入本機 AC 電源插座(AC~),另一端則接至 AC 110V
電源插座,此時電源指示燈(POWER)亮,即表示本機在待機狀態,但當功能選擇開

Rotate the control knob to ‘MAX’ position for more volume.

Accepts any stereo headphones with 3.5mm diameter standard stereo plug for private

3.按 B 卡座停止/起匣鍵(STOP/EJ)打開 B 卡座,將空白錄音帶放入 B 卡座中,並蓋妥卡匣門。
4.按 B 卡座暫停鍵(PAUSE)後,再按下 B 卡座錄音鍵(RECORD),B 卡座放音鍵

6. 當一切準備就緒,同時按 B 卡座暫停鍵(PAUSE)及 CD 放音/ 暫停鍵

A 2-positions VOLTAGE SELECTOR switch is located inside of BATTERY
COMPARTMENT. Check that is set properly before plugging the power cord into an AC
outlet. If the voltage is not properly set or if you move to an area where the voltage supply
difference, adjust the selector as follows:
1. Disconnect the AC power cord.
2. Insert the tip of the medium-sized screwdriver into the groove of the selector switch and
slide it to the local AC voltage.
AC POWER CONNECTION
Connect one end of the AC cord to the AC INPUT SOCKET on the back of the unit, then
connect other end to the wall outlet. The unit is now ready to operate by AC Power Supply.
Disconnect AC cord from wall outlet when the unit is not in use.
BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Open the BATTERY COMPARTMENT cover.
2. Insert 8pcs UM/SUM-1 or “D” Type batteries into BATTERY COMPARTMENT. Be
sure to follow battery polarity as shown in the diagram engraved on the BATTERY
COMPARTMENT.
3. Place the BATTERY COMPARTMENT cover.
4. The unit is now ready for operation.
NOTE: The battery circuit is disconnected automatically when the AC cord is inserted to the
AC INPUT SOCKET. Be sure to disconnect the AC cord from the AC INPUT SOCKET
when operate by battery.
Remove all the batteries from BATTERY COMPARTMENT when the unit is no longer
operate by battery.
