POWER SUPPLY
1. Connect the unit to the power supply.
2. Press POWER ON/OFF (2) to turn the unit ON.
3. Press and hold POWER ON/OFF (2) for 3 seconds to turn the unit OFF.
When no sound is produced, the unit will switch OFF automatically after 15 minutes. To resume playback, switch the unit OFF and then switch it ON again.

FM/MW RADIO OPERATIONS
1. Press TUNER (15) to select TUNER function.
2. Press FM/MW (14) repeatedly to select between FM/MW.
3. Turn TUNING KNOB (20) to select your favourite radio station.
4. Turn the VOLUME KNOB (12) to the desired volume level.
PLAYING COMPACT DISC
1. Press CD/USB (16) to select CD/USB function. Press and hold FUNCTION
BUTTON (4) (7 on remote) to change between CD/USB.
2. Press BB11 (1 on remote) to open the cd door.
3. Place a cd with the printed side facing up inside the tray, then close the cd
door. The total number of tracks will be shown on the display. The first track
will start playback.
Press SKIP+/- (8)/(9) (3/9 on remote) to select your favorite tunes. If you hold
SKIP+/- (8)/(9) (3/9 on remote), the playing track will go fast backward or forward until you release the button.
Press PLAY/PAUSE (6) (8 on remote) to pause the playback. The track num-
ber will start blinking. Press PLAY/PAUSE (6) (8 on remote) again to resume
the playback.
Press STOP (7) (4 on remote) to stop the playback.
REPEAT MODE
During playback, repeatedly press REPEAT (10) to select:
Repeat1: The current track is played repeatedly.
RepeatAll: All tracks are played repeatedly.
RepeatFolder: The current folder is played repeatedly.
Random: The tracks are played in casual order.
Normal mode: The tracks are played in classic order.
REMOTE CONTROL
During playback, repeatedly press (2) on the remote control to select:
Repeat1: The current track is played repeatedly.
RepeatAll: All tracks are played repeatedly.
RepeatFolder: The current folder is played repeatedly.
Normal mode: The tracks are played in classic order.
Press (6) on remote. The tracks are played in casual order.
Press (6) on remote once more. The tracks are played in classic order.
CD PROGRAMMING
You can program up to 20 tracks to play in any desired order.
1. Insert a disc and press STOP (7) (4 on remote) when it starts playing.
2. Press (12) on remote. “P01” will be shown on the display.
3. Press SKIP+/- (8)/(9) (3/9 on remote) to select your favorite tunes.

4. Press (12) on remote to store the track in the program memory. “P02” will be
shown on the display.
5. Repeat steps 3-4 to select and store all desired tracks.
6. Press PLAY/PAUSE (6) (8 on remote) to start program play.
7. Press STOP (7) (4 on remote) once to stop the program play. Press STOP
(7) (4 on remote) twice to clear programme.
AUX-IN
This unit provides an auxiliary audio input jack for connecting external audio de-
vice like MP3 players, CD players and allow playback of your external source
through the system speakers.
1. Use an audio cable (not included) with a RCA stereo plugs on one end of the
cable. Plug one end into the AUX-IN jack on the main unit and plug the other
end of the cable into the LINE OUT or HEADPHONE Jack of your external
audio device.
2. Turn ON the unit and your external audio device.
3. Press AUX-IN (18) to select AUX function.
4. Start to play the external device (see the user manual of the external devi-
ce).
BLUETOOTH OPERATION
1. Press BLUETOOTH (17) to select BLUETOOTH function.
2. An intermittent sound will start playing while Bluetooth is searching a source.
3. Select from your portable device (Smartphone, Tablet...) the ID Bluetooth
tagged as HRA-1540UE/BT, then confirm connection.
4. You will hear a sound when the pairing is successful. Now you can transfer
the music to the HRA-1540UE/BT and all operations can only be operated
from your mobile device.
PLAYBACK FROM USB
1. Press CD/USB (16) to select CD/USB function.
2. Press and hold FUNCTION BUTTON (4) (7 on remote) to change between
CD/USB. The unit will start reading the device automatically after the connection.
3. Use the same procedure as CD to listen to your USB device.
DELETE USB
1. During playback, press and hold (11) on remote. “DEL” will be shown on the
display.
2. Press SKIP+/- (8)/(9) (3/9 on remote) repeatedly to select between ONE/
FOL/ALL.
3. Press (11) on remote again to confirm.

RECORDING FUNCTION
1. While listening to RADIO/BLUETOOTH/AUX, press REC (3). “REC” will be
shown on the display. The REC indicator will light up.
2. Press REC (3) again to confirm. Encoding is performing now. Note that the
encoding speed is 1:1.
3. Press STOP (7) (4 on remote) to stop recording. The unit will create a folder
in the USB device, that contain all recorded tracks.
CD
1. Press REC (3).
2. Press SKIP+/- (8)/(9) (3/9 on remote) repeatedly to select between AA.
3. Press REC (3) once more to start recording.

ENERGIEVERSORGUNG
1. Schließen Sie das Gerät an die Stromversorgung.
2. Drücken Sie auf STROM AN/AUS (2), um das Gerät anzuschalten.
3. Drücken und halten Sie STROM AN/AUS (2) 3 Sekunden, um das Gerät auszuschal-
ten.
Wenn kein Ton zu hören ist, schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch nach 15 Minuten AUS.
Um die Wiedergabe fortzusetzen, schalten Sie das Gerät aus und dann wieder einschalten.
MW/UKW RADIO-BETRIEB
1. Drücken Sie die TUNER (15) den TUNER-Modus zu wählen.
2. Drücken Sie die Tasten FM/MW (14) wiederholt, um zwischen FM/MW zu wählen.

3. Drehen Sie am TUNING-KNOP (20), um Ihren gewünschten Radiosender
auszuwählen.
4. Drehen Sie LAUTSTÄRKEREGLER (12) die Lautstärke einzustellen.
ABSPIELEN VON CDS
1. Drücken Sie die CD/USB (16) den CD/USB-Modus zu wählen. Drücken und halten Sie
FUNKTIONSTASTE (4) (7 auf der Fernbedienung), um zwischen CD/USB zu wählen.
2. Drücken BB11 (1 auf der Fernbedienung), um das CD-Fach zu öffnen.
3. Legen Sie eine CD mit der bedruckten Seite nach oben in das Fach und schließen Sie
es dann. Die Gesamtanzahl der Titel wird auf dem Display angezeigt. Die Wiedergabe
des ersten Titels beginnt.
Drücken Sie SKIP+/- (8)/(9) (3/9 auf der Fernbedienung), um Ihre Lieblingstitel
auszuwählen. Wenn Sie SKIP+/- (8)/(9) (3/9 auf der Fernbedienung) halten, wird der momentan abgespielte Titel schnell vorwärts oder rückwärts laufen, bis Sie die Taste loslassen.
Drücken PLAY/PAUSE (6) (8 auf der Fernbedienung) um die Wiedergabe zu pausieren.
Die Titelnummer beginnt zu blinken. Drücken die PLAY/PAUSE (6) (8 auf der Fernbedienung) Wiedergabe fortzusetzen wieder.
Drücken Sie STOP (7) (4 auf der Fernbedienung), um die Wiedergabe zu stoppen.
WIEDERHOLEN MODUS
Drücken Sie während der Wiedergabe wiederholt REPEAT (10), um Folgendes
auszuwählen:
Repeat1: Der aktuelle Titel wird wiederholt abgespielt.
RepeatAll: Alle Titel werden wiederholt.
RepeatFolder: Der aktuelle Ordner wird wiederholt abgespielt.
Random: Die Titel werden in einer zufälligen Reihenfolge wiedergegeben.
Normal-Modus: Die Titel werden in der klassischen Reihenfolge abgespielt.
FERNBEDIENUNG
Drücken Sie während der Wiedergabe wiederholt (2) auf der Fernbedienung, um Folgendes
auszuwählen:
Repeat1: Der aktuelle Titel wird wiederholt abgespielt.
RepeatAll: Alle Titel werden wiederholt.
RepeatFolder: Der aktuelle Ordner wird wiederholt abgespielt.
Normal-Modus: Die Titel werden in der klassischen Reihenfolge abgespielt.
Drücken Sie (6) auf der Fernbedienung. Die Titel werden in einer zufälligen Reihenfolge
wiedergegeben.
Drücken Sie die (6) auf der Fernbedienung noch einmal. Die Titel werden in der klassi-
schen Reihenfolge abgespielt.
CD-DISC PROGRAMMIEREN
Sie können bis zu 20 Titel einprogrammieren, um sie in jeder gewünschten Reihenfolge
abzuspielen.
1. Legen Sie eine Disc ein und drücken Sie STOP (7) (4 auf der Fernbedienung), wenn sie
zu spielen beginnt.
2. Drücken Sie (12) auf der Fernbedienung. "P01" wird auf dem Display angezeigt.
3. Drücken Sie SKIP+/- (8)/(9) (3/9 auf der Fernbedienung), um Ihre Lieblingstitel
auszuwählen.
4. Drücken Sie (12) auf der Fernbedienung, um den Titel im Programmspeicher zu spei-
