IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been supervised/instructed and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and cable out of reach of children under 8 years.

Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels
containing water.
When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the appliance is switched off.
For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom*.

If the supply cord of this unit becomes damaged, discontinue use immediately and return the appliance to your nearest authorised Remington® service dealer for repair or replacement in order to avoid a hazard.

• During use, always ensure the inlet and outlet grilles are not blocked in any way as this will cause the unit to automatically stop. If this should occur, switch o and allow the unit to cool.

• Do not leave the appliance unattended while plugged in.
• Do not place the appliance on any soft furnishings.
• Do not use attachments other than those we supply.
• Do not set the appliance down while still on.
• Do not twist or kink the cable, or wrap it round the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance if it is damaged or malfunc tions.
• Do not wrap the cord around the unit. Check the cord regularly for any sign damage.
• This appliance is not intended for commercial or salon use.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• Wash and condition your hair as normal.
• Squeeze out excess moisture with a towel and comb through.
• Hairsprays contain ammable material – do not use while using this product.
1. Plug your hairdryer into the mains power supply.
2. Switch your hairdryer on and selec t the desired speed setting (low 1 or high 2) using the speed selector switch (0, E). The number below the switch will light up to show you which setting you have selected. The back-lit grille will light up white when you switch the haidryer on.
3. Select the desired heat setting (low 1, medium 2 or high 3) using the heat selector switch (N, P). The number above the switch will light up to show you which setting you have selected.
4. Press and hold the cool shot button to direct cool air onto your hair to help set your style. The back-lit grille will illuminate blue when you use the cool shot feature.
5. Between uses, place your hairdr yer down onto the supplied mat.

6. After use, turn your hairdryer o and unplug it.
7. Let your hairdryer cool down before cleaning or storing away.
Fitting attachments
1. Push the desired at tachment onto the front of your hairdr yer.
2. Concentrators can be rotated as required.
TIPS
• For fast dr ying use high heat / high speed.
• To create smooth st yles use the concentrator and a round hair brush (not included) whilst drying.
• To enhance natural curls and waves, attach the diuser to the hairdryer. Turn your head upside down and gently place your hair into the diuser bowl slightly rotating the hairdryer as you st yle.
• To create extra volume at the roots of the hair, keep your head upright and place the diuser against the top of the head. Gently rotate the hairdr yer allowing the diuser ngers to gently massage the scalp being careful not to burn the scalp. Dry gently on a medium heat / low speed setting. Caution: Do not use the diuser on the high heat (3) setting.
• To set your style, press the cool shot whilst styling.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
To maintain peak product performance and to prolong motor life, it is important to regularly clean the inlet grille.
• Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool.
• Use a lint free cloth or sof t brush to gently remove dust and debris from the grille.

To avoid environmental and health problems due to hazardous substances in electrical and electronic goods, appliances marked with this symbol must not be disposed of with unsor ted municipal waste, but recovered, reused or recycled.

accordance with the instructions.
