1
Make sure your PC is turned on and connected to the internet.
2
Connect the included USB cable to your PC and your IntelliRoute® TND™, then turn on the TND™.

After a few minutes, you should see 1 or 2 windows for the 2 drives on the TND™. If you only see one, move it and you may find the
other behind it. Or you may need to look for it by opening My Computer on your PC. You are looking for the drive that has the name
“IntelliRoute® TND™ Maps.”

On the “IntelliRoute® TND™ Maps” drive, double click on the icon named “Setup TND™ Dock.” Be patient! It may take a minute
or two before you see anything happen.

TND™ Dock will now start. If the update process does not start automatically, point the mouse on the Update IntelliRoute® TND™
button, then select Update Now.
7
Be patient! If you have a slow internet connection, it may take up to 20 minutes until you see the “Your IntelliRoute® TND™ is up
to date.” message.
From now on, every time you connect to your PC, the TND™ Dock
software will automatically start, and you can receive the latest free road
construction and feature updates, plus driver reviews of Travel Centers, and
you can provide Rand McNally anonymous feedback via Tell Rand McNally.
