AC POWER
You can alsopower thespeakers from a standard AC outlet using an optional AC adapter (notsupplied).
Cautions:
You must use a Class 2 power source that supplies 6V DC and delivers at least400 mA. Its center tip must be set to positive and its
plug must fit the speaker's
DC 6V jack. Using an adapter
that does not meet these specifications could damage the speakers or the adapter.
Slide
POWER to OFF, then connect the AC adapter’s barrel
plug to the portable speaker’s
DC 6V jack. Plug the other
end of the AC adapter into a standard 120V AC outlet. Ô
Ô BATTERY NOTES Ô
• Dispose of old batteries promptly and properly.
• Do not burn or bury batteries.
• Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended type.
• Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries (standard, alkaline, or rechargeable), or rechargeable batteries of different capacities.
• If you do not plan to use the speakers for more than two weeks, remove the batteries. Batteries can leak chemicals that can destroy electronic parts.

SERVICE AND REPAIR
If your speakers are not performing as they should, take them to your local RadioShack store for assistance. To locate your nearest RadioShack, use the store locator feature on RadioShack's website (www.radioshack.com), or call 1-800-The Shack (843-7422) and follow the menu options. Modifying or tampering with the speaker's internal components can cause a malfunction and might invalidate their warranty.
Ô NOTE Ô
