FM Stereo Transmitter
OWNER’S MANUAL — Please read before using this equipment.
Your RadioShack FM Stereo Transmitter lets you play compact
discs using your CD player and hear them using any portable, car,
or home FM stereo receiver.
Because it transmits an FM signal, the transmitter requires no wiring or permanent installation, making its use quick, easy, and convenient.

Installing Batteries
Your transmitter requires two AAA batteries (not supplied) for
power. For the best performance and longest life, we recommend
RadioShack alkaline batteries.

Cautions:
• Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended type.
• Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries
(standard, alkaline, or rechargeable), or rechargeable batteries of different capacities.
Follow these steps to install batteries.

2. Press down on the battery compartment cover and slide it off in the direction of the arrow.
3. Place the batteries in the compartment as indicated by the

4. Replace the cover.
When the transmitter stops operating properly, replace the batteries.

• Dispose of old batteries promptly and properly.
• Do not burn or bury them.
Caution: If you do not plan to use the transmitter for two weeks or
more, remove the batteries. Batteries can leak chemicals that can
destroy electronic parts.
