> Dynamic Range Adjustment. Light and shade are important

components of photography. For a long time “shade” meant

a muddy darkness in the picture. With this new function the

PENTAX Optio S12 brings a little light back into the dark and

lightens these areas.

> Super Macro (from 6cm)

> Brighter and clearer 2.5” TFT monitor with 232,000 dots. The

surface of the monitor is anti-reflection coated and provides an

extremely clear and brilliant image. Picture control is possible

from awkward angles thanks to a viewing angle of 170°.

> Picture date display. The date display at the edge of the image

can be seen when the image is shown on the television as well

as on prints.
