Wir beglückwünschen Sie zum Kauf Ihres neuen Gerätes. Sie haben sich
damit für ein hochwertiges Produkt entschieden. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist Teil dieses Produkts. Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise für Sicherheit,
Gebrauch und Entsorgung. Machen Sie sich vor der Benutzung des
Produkts mit allen Bedien- und Sicherheitshinweisen vertraut. Benutzen
Sie das Produkt nur wie beschrieben und für die angegebenen Einsatzbereiche. Händigen Sie alle Unterlagen bei Weitergabe des Produkts
an Dritte mit aus.
Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Das Gerät ist für Elektroniklötungen im Freizeit- und Heimwerkerbereich
vorgesehen. Es ist dabei für Anwendungen wie Lötarbeiten, Schweißkleben
von Kunststoffen und das Aufbringen von Verzierungen bestimmt.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur wie beschrieben und für die angegebenen
Einsatzbereiche. Das Gerät ist nicht für den gewerblichen Einsatz bestimmt. Jede andere Verwendung oder Veränderung des Gerätes gilt
als nicht bestimmungsgemäß und birgt erhebliche Unfallgefahren. Für
aus bestimmungswidriger Verwendung entstandene Schäden übernimmt der Hersteller keine Haftung.

VORSICHT! Fehler bei der Einhaltung der nachstehend auf-
geführten Anweisungen können elektrischen Schlag, Brand
und / oder schwere Verletzungen veru rsachen.
1. Arbeitsplatz
a)
Halten Sie Ihren Arbeitsbereich sauber und gut beleuchtet.
Unordnung und unbeleuchtete Arbeitsbereiche können zu Unfällen
führen.
b) Arbeiten Sie mit dem Gerät nicht in explosionsgefähr-
deter Umgebung, in der sich brennbare Flüssigkeiten,
Gase oder Stäube befinden. Elektrowerkzeuge erzeugen
Funken, die den Staub oder die Dämpfe entzünden können.
c) Halten Sie Kinder und andere Personen während der
Benutzung des Elektrowerkzeugs fern. Bei Ablenkung
können Sie die Kontrolle über das Gerät verlieren.
2. Elektrische Sicherheit
Vermeiden Sie Lebensgefahr durch elektrischen Schlag:

a)
Der Anschlussstecker des Gerätes muss in die Steckdose
passen. Der Stecker darf in keiner Weise verändert
werden. Verwenden Sie keine Adapterstecker gemeinsam mit schutzgeerdeten Geräten. Unveränderte Stecker und
passende Steckdosen verringern das Risiko eines elektrischen Schlages.

b) Halten Sie das Gerät von Regen, Nässe oder Flüssig-
keiten fern. Das Eindringen von Wasser in ein Elektrogerät erhöht
das Risiko eines elektrischen Schlages.
c) Wenn der Betrieb des Elektrowerkzeuges in feuchter
Umgebung nicht vermeidbar ist, verwenden Sie einen
Fehlerstromschutzschalter. Der Einsatz eines Fehlerstrom-
schutzschalters vermindert das Risiko eines elektrischen Schlages.
d) Zweckentfremden Sie das Kabel nicht, um das Gerät
zu tragen, aufzuhängen oder um den Stecker aus der
Steckdose zu ziehen. Halten Sie das Kabel fern von Hit
Öl, scharfen Kanten oder sich bewegenden Geräteteilen
Beschädigte oder verwickelte Kabel erhöhen das Risiko eines elektrischen Schlages.
e) Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht mit beschädigtem Netzkabel oder
Netzstecker.
Beschädigte Netzkabel bedeuten Lebensgefahr
durch elektrischen Schlag.
f) Halten Sie das Netzkabel stets vom Wirkungskreis des Gerätes
fern und führen Sie es nach hinten vom Gerät weg.
g) Ziehen Sie immer den Netzstecker, wenn Sie das Gerät unbeauf-
sichtigt lassen, oder Arbeiten am Gerät durchführen.

3. Sicherheit von Personen
a)
Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber sowie von Personen mit verringerten physischen,
sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel
an Erfahrung und Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie
beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs
des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die daraus re
sultierenden Gefahren verstehen. Kinder dürfen nicht

dem Gerät spielen. Reinigung und Benutzerwartung dür-
fen nicht von Kindern ohne Beaufsichtigung durchgeführt werden.
b) Seien Sie stets aufmerksam, achten Sie darauf, was
Sie tun und gehen Sie mit Vernunft an die Arbeit mit
einem Elektrowerkzeug. Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht,
wenn Sie müde sind oder unter dem Einfluss von Droge
Alkohol oder Medikamenten stehen. Ein Moment der Un-
achtsamkeit beim Gebrauch des Gerätes kann zu ernsthaften Verletzungen führen.
VERBRENNUNGSGEFAHR! Berühren Sie nie die erhitzte Löt-
spitze oder das geschmolzene Lot. Es besteht Verbrennungsgefahr.
Lassen Sie das Gerät unbedingt abkühlen, bevor Sie Gerätekomponenten wechseln, reinigen oder überprüfen.
Lassen Sie den Feinlötkolben nach der Arbeit nur von der Luft ab-
kühlen. Auf keinen Fall mit Wasser abschrecken!
VORSICHT! BRANDGEFAHR! Verwenden Sie nur die spezielle
Multifunktionshalterung oder eine andere feuerfeste Unterlage zum
Absetzen des heißen Feinlötkolbens.
Bei Arbeitspausen muss der Feinlötkolben in der Multifunktionshalte-
rung abgelegt werden.
Halten Sie das Gerät von brennbarem Material fern.
Lassen Sie das eingeschaltete Gerät nie unbeaufsichtigt.
VORSICHT! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR! Halten Sie Ihre Hände
vom erhitzten Werkstück fern. Die Hitze kann durch das Werkstück
hindurch abgegeben werden.
Vermeiden Sie den Kontakt der heißen Lötspitze mit den Kunststoff-
teilen der Multifunktionshalterung. Andernfalls kann es zu Beschädigungen am Gerät kommen.
Ziehen Sie bei Gefahr sofort den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.
VORSICHT! VERGIFTUNGSGEFAHR! Halten Sie Dämpfe
aus der Atemzone fern.

Sorgen Sie bei längeren Arbeiten, bei denen gesundheitsgefährden-
de Dämpfe entstehen können, immer für eine ausreichende Belüftung
der Arbeitsstätte. Ferner werden Schutzhandschuhe, Mundschutz
sowie eine Arbeitsschürze empfohlen.
Vermeiden Sie es, in Räumen, in denen gelötet wird, zu essen, zu
trinken und zu rauchen. Andernfalls könnten an den Händen haftende Bleispuren über Lebensmittel oder Zigaretten in den menschlichen
Organismus gelangen.
Waschen Sie sich nach dem Löten immer gründlich die Hände.
Werfen Sie Lötabfälle nie in den Hausmüll. Lötabfälle gehören
zum Sondermüll.
4. Verwendung und Behandlung
des Elektrowerkzeugs
a) Bewahren Sie unbenutzte Elektrowerkzeuge außerhalb
der Reichweite von Kindern auf. Lassen Sie Personen
das Gerät nicht benutzen, die mit diesem nicht vertraut
sind oder diese Anweisungen nicht gelesen haben.
Elektrowerkzeuge sind gefährlich, wenn sie von unerfahrenen
Personen benutzt werden.
b) Pflegen Sie das Gerät mit Sorgfalt. Kontrollieren Sie,
ob Teile gebrochen oder so beschädigt sind, dass die
Funktion des Gerätes beeinträchtigt ist. Lassen Sie
beschädigte Teile vor dem Einsatz des Gerätes reparieren. Viele Unfälle haben ihre Ursache in schlecht gewarteten
Elektrowerkzeugen.

Originalzubehör / -zusatzgeräte
Benutzen Sie nur Zubehör, das in der Bedienungsanleitung angegeben
ist. Der Gebrauch anderer als hier empfohlenen Teile oder anderen
Zubehörs kann eine Verletzungsgefahr für Sie bedeuten.
Vor der Inbetriebnahme
Lötspitzen einsetzen / wechseln
VORSICHT! VERBRENNUNGSGEFAHR! Heizen Sie den Feinlötkolben nie ohne Spitze auf.
Das Entfernen einer Lötspitze darf nur bei ausgeschaltetem Gerät
und bei abgekühlter Lötspitze erfolgen.
Wechseln Sie die Lötspitze, indem Sie diese herausdrehen.
Vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme der Lötstation und auch bei Verwendung
jeder neuen Lötspitze muss die Lötspitze

zunächst verzinnt werden.
Gehen Sie hierfür wie folgt vor:
Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Steckdose und drücken Sie
den EIN- / AUS-Schalter

in die Position „I“.
Drehen Sie den Temperaturregler 6 auf 3 und warten Sie, bis
das Gerät aufgeheizt ist. Lassen Sie dann etwas Lötzinn zu einem
dünnen, zusammenhängenden Film auf der Lötspitze zerfließen.

Einschalten und Temperatur einstellen:
Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Steckdose und drücken Sie
den EIN- / AUS-Schalter

in die Position „I“.
Drehen Sie den Temperaturregler 6 und stellen Sie so die ge-
wünschte Temperatur ein.
Voraussetzung für einwandfreie Lötungen ist die Verwendung geeigneter
Lötdrähte. Zudem können perfekte Lötstellen nur dann erreicht werden,
wenn die richtige Löttemperatur erreicht wird. Bei zu niedriger Löttemperatur fließt das Lötzinn nicht genügend und verursacht unsaubere
Lötstellen (sog. kalte Lötstellen). Durch zu hohe Löttemperaturen verbrennt
das Lötmittel und das Lötzinn fließt nicht. Darüber hinaus können die zu
bearbeitenden Materialien zerstört werden.
Nachstehend Temperatureinstellungen für die gängigsten Anwendungen.
Je nach Lötzinn / Hersteller sind Unterschiede möglich.
Stufe min = Raumtemperatur
Stufe 1 = ca. 100 °C – Aufwärmstufe und für Lote mit entsprechend
niedriger Schmelztemperatur
Stufe 2 = 200 °C Schmelzpunkt der häufigst verwendeten Weichlote
Stufe 3 = 300 °C Normalbetrieb, z.B. bei der Verwendung von
bleifreiem Lötzinn
Stufe 4 = 400 °C hohe Löttemperatur, z.B. zum Entlöten kleiner Lötstellen
Stufe 5 = 500 °C – maximale Löttemperatur, z.B. zum Entlöten großer
Lötstellen

Ausschalten:
Hinweis: Stellen Sie den Feinlötkolben

wieder zurück in die Haltevorrichtung.
Drücken Sie den EIN- / AUS-Schalter 2 in die Position „0“.
Ziehen Sie bei Nichtgebrauch den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.
Lötschwamm
VORSICHT! Die heiße Lötspitze 7 darf niemals mit einem
trockenen Lötschwamm

in Berührung kommen. Andernfalls
kann der Lötschwamm beschädigt werden.
Der Lötschwamm 5 dient zum Reinigen der Lötspitzen.
Feuchten Sie den Lötschwamm 5 an, bevor Sie ihn benutzen.
Löten
Dämpfe können beim Einatmen u.a. zu Kopfschmerzen und
Ermüdungserscheinungen führen.
— Der Feinlötkolben ist mit einer Nennleistung von 48 Watt ideal für
Elektroniklötungen (siehe Abb. A, B).
— Durch seine Bauform ist er besonders für schwer zugängliche und
feine Lötarbeiten geeignet.
Reinigen Sie die Lötspitze 7 am feuchten Lötschwamm 5.
Nach dem Reinigen muss die Lötspitze 7 verzinnt werden.
Verzinnen Sie die heiße Lötspitze
7
hierzu durch das Abschmelzen
von Lötzinn.
Führen Sie die Lötspitze 7 an die Lötstelle heran und erhitzen Sie diese.
Bringen Sie das Lötzinn (mit Flussmittel) zwischen Lötstelle und Löt-

zum Schmelzen.

Führen Sie weiteren Lötzinn hinzu, bis die gesamte Lötstelle benetzt ist.
Entfernen Sie anschließend sofort die Lötspitze, um das geschmol-
zene Lot nicht zu überhitzen.
Lassen Sie das Lot erstarren und vermeiden Sie Erschütterungen.
Hinweis: Das Flussmittel ist entweder im Lot enthalten oder es
wird separat angewendet.
Informieren Sie sich beim Kauf über die Art der Anwendung und
das geeignete Lötmittel.
Aufsätze und Anwendungen:
ACHTUNG! Führen Sie an Elektrik oder sonstigen Teilen keine spezi-
ellen Veränderungen und Reparaturen aus. Ausnahme: Die ausführende
Person ist dafür qualifiziert oder ausgebildet.
Testen Sie jede Anwendung an überschüssigem Material und prüfen
Sie somit den gewünschten Effekt. So vermeiden Sie Beschädigungen
am Werkstück.
Wartung und Reinigung
VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR! Ziehen Sie immer
den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose und lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen,
bevor Sie Arbeiten am Gerät durchführen.
Reinigen Sie das Gerät nach Abschluss der Arbeit.
Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung des Gehäuses ein Tuch und ggf. ein
mildes Reinigungsmittel.
Verwenden Sie keinesfalls scharfe Gegenstände, Benzin, Lösungs-
mittel oder Reiniger, die Kunststoff angreifen.
Vermeiden Sie, dass Flüssigkeiten in das Innere des Gerätes
gelangen.

Lassen Sie Ihre Geräte von der
Servicestelle oder einer Elektrofachkraft und nur mit
Original-Ersatzteilen reparieren. Damit wird sichergestellt,
dass die Sicherheit des Gerätes erhalten bleibt.
Lassen Sie den Austausch des Steckers
oder der Anschlussleitung immer vom Hersteller des
Gerätes oder seinem Kundendienst ausführen.

Sie erhalten auf dieses Gerät 3 Jahre Garantie ab Kaufdatum. Das Gerät wurde sorgfältig produziert und vor

Kassenbon als Nachweis für den Kauf auf. Bitte setzen
Sie sich im Garantiefall mit Ihrer Servicestelle telefonisch
in Verbindung. Nur so kann eine kostenlose Einsendung
Ihrer Ware gewährleistet werden.
Die Garantieleistung gilt nur für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler, nicht
aber für Transportschäden, Verschleißteile oder für Beschädigungen an
zerbrechlichen Teilen, z. B. Schalter oder Akkus. Das Produkt ist lediglich
für den privaten und nicht für den gewerblichen Gebrauch bestimmt.

1. Sécurité du poste de travail
a) Veillez à ce que votre zone de travail soit propre et
bien éclairée. Le désordre et un éclairage insuffisant peuvent
être à l’origine d’accidents.
b) Ne pas utiliser l’appareil dans une atmosphère explo-
sive contenant des liquides, des gaz ou des poussières
inflammables. Les étincelles produites par les outils électriques

différentiel. L’usage d’un disjoncteur différentiel réduit les risques
de décharge électrique.
d) Ne jamais utiliser le câble de manière non conforme,
pour porter l’appareil ou le suspendre, voire pour débrancher la fiche secteur de la prise de courant. Tenir le
câble à l’écart de toute source de chaleur, d’arêtes
coupantes ou de parties mobiles de l’appareil. Un câble
tordu ou enchevêtré augmente les risques d’électrocution.
e) N’utilisez jamais l’appareil si le cordon ou la prise sont endommagés.
Les cordons endommagés entraînent
un danger de mort par électrocution.
f) Tenez toujours le cordon éloigné du champ d’action de l’appareil
et faites-le passer vers l’arrière en l’éloignant de l’appareil.
g) Débranchez toujours la prise si vous laissez l’appareil sans surveil-
lance ou si vous procédez à des travaux sur l’appareil.
3. Sécurité personnelle

RISQUE DE BRULURES ! Ne touchez jamais la panne chaude. Il y
a risque de brûlure. Laissez obligatoirement refroidir l’appareil avant
de changer d’accessoires, de nettoyer ou de contrôler l’appareil.
Après le travail, ne laisser le fer à souder se refroidir qu‘à l‘air.
Ne refroidir en aucun cas brusquement à l‘eau.
ATTENTION ! RISQUE D’INCENDIE ! N’utiliser que le support
multifonction spécial ou un autre support réfractaire pour déposer
le fer à souder brûlant.
A chaque pose de travail, déposer le fer à souder dans le support
multifonction.
Tenez l’appareil éloigné de matériaux inflammables.
Ne laissez jamais l’appareil sans surveillance s’il est en marche.
ATTENTION ! RISQUE DE BLESSURE ! Tenez vos mains éloi-
gnées de la pièce chauffée. La chaleur peut traverser la pièce.
Evitez tout contact de la panne chaude avec les pièces et éléments
en plastique du support multifonctions. Il peut en résulter un endommagement de l’appareil dans le cas contraire.
En cas de danger, débranchez immédiatement la prise.
ATTENTION ! RISQUE D’INTOXICATION ! Veillez à ce que
les vapeurs soient éloignées de votre champ respiratoire.
En cas de travaux prolongés pouvant engendrer des vapeurs
toxiques, veillez toujours à une aération suffisante du poste de

travail. De plus, il est recommandé de porter des gants de protection, un masque et un tablier.
Evitez de manger, de boire et de fumer dans les pièces dans les-
quelles ont lieu des travaux de soudage. Dans le cas contraire,
des traces de plomb adhérant aux mains pourraient passer dans
l’organisme par le biais des aliments ou des cigarettes.
Après le soudage, lavez-vous toujours soigneusement les mains.
Ne jetez jamais aux ordures ménagères les déchets de soudage.
Les déchets de soudage sont des déchets dangereux spéciaux.
4. Manipulation prudente et usage
d’outils électriques
a) Ranger les outils électriques inutilisés hors de portée
des enfants. Ne jamais laisser des personnes sans expérience ou qui n’ont pas lu ces instructions utiliser
l’appareil. Les outils électriques sont dangereux dans les mains
de personnes sans expérience.
b) Entretenez l’appareil avec soin. Contrôlez si des pièces
ou éléments sont cassés ou endommagés de telle sorte
que ceci nuise à la fonction ou au fonctionnement de
l’appareil. Faites réparer les pièces et éléments endommagés avant d’utiliser l’appareil. De nombreux
accidents sont causés par des outils électriques mal entretenus.

Branchez la prise et pressez le commutateur MARCHE / ARRET 2
pour le mettre en position «I».
Tourner le régleur de température 6 pour régler la température
désirée.
Pour des soudages parfaits, il faut obligatoirement utiliser des fils de
brasage appropriés. De plus, des soudures parfaites ne peuvent être
obtenues que si la température de soudage adaptée est atteinte. Si la
température de soudage est trop faible, l’étain ne coule pas suffisamment et entraîne des soudures mal faites (dites soudures froides). Si les
températures de soudage sont trop élevées, l’agent de soudage brûle
et l’étain ne coule pas. De plus, les matériaux devant être usinés
peuvent être détruits.
Ci-dessous les réglages de température pour les utilisations les plus fréquentes. Des divergences sont possibles en fonction de l’étain / de la
marque.
Position min = température ambiante
Niveau 1 = env. 100 °C – échauffement et pour les fils à température
de fonte basse
Niveau 2 = 200 °C – point de fusion des fils tendres les plus utilisés
Niveau 3 = 300 °C mode normal, par ex. pour l’utilisation d’étain

Niveau 4 = 400 °C – température de brasage élevée, par exemple

ATTENTION ! Ne jamais mettre la panne chaude 7 en contact

— Avec sa puissance nominale de 48 watts, le fer à souder fin est
idéal pour le soudage de composants électronique (voir ill. A, B).
— De par sa forme, il est particulièrement adapté pour les travaux
de soudage difficilement accessibles et délicats.
Nettoyez la panne 7 sur l’éponge 5 humide.
Le nettoyage effectué, la panne 7 doit être étamée. Pour ce faire,

Approchez la panne 7 du point à souder et chauffez celui-ci.
Faites fondre de l’étain (avec du fondant) entre le point de soudage
et la panne

Ajoutez de l’étain jusqu’à ce que la totalité du point de soudage
soit « mouillé ».
Retirez ensuite immédiatement la panne pour ne pas surchauffer
le métal fondu.
Laissez le métal se solidifier et évitez les chocs et vibrations.
Avis : Le fondant est soit contenu dans le métal, soit il est utilisé
séparément.
Informez-vous lors de l’achat en ce qui concerne le type d’application et le plomb à souder.
Accessoires et applications :
ATTENTION ! Ne procédez à aucunes modifications ou réparations
spéciales au niveau du système électrique ou d’autres pièces.
Exception : la personne procédant à ces travaux est qualifiée ou formée
pour cela.
Faites un test sur des restes de matériel et contrôlez ainsi s’il est possible
d’obtenir l’effet voulu. Ceci vous permet d’éviter d’endommager la pièce.

ATTENZIONE! Errori nell’osservanza delle indicazioni
fornite di seguito possono provocare scosse elettriche, incendi e / o gravi lesioni.
1. Sicurezza dell’area di lavoro
a) Mantenere l’area di lavoro pulita e ben illuminata.
Il disordine ed aree di lavoro poco illuminate possono determinare incidenti.
b) Non lavorare con l’apparecchio in un’atmos fera dove
si trovino liquidi infiammabili, esplosiva, gas e polveri.
Gli utensili elettrici generano scintille che possono infiammare la
polvere o i gas.
c) Durante l’utilizzo del dispositivo elettrico tenere lon-
tani bambini e persone estranee. In caso di distrazione
potreste perdere il controllo dell’apparecchio.
2. Sicurezza elettrica
Evitare il pericolo di morte a seguito di scossa elettrica:
a) La spina di connessione dell’apparecchio deve essere
adatta alla presa elettrica nella quale essa viene inserita. In nessun caso l’adattatore deve essere modificato. Non utilizzare spine con apparecchi messi a
terra. Spine non modificate e prese adatte riducono il rischio di
una scossa elettrica.

b) Mantenere l’apparecchio lontano da pioggia o umidi-
tà. La penetrazione di acqua in un apparecchio elettrico accresce
il rischio di scossa elettrica.
c) Qualora non si possa evitare l‘esercizio dell’elettrouten-
sile in un ambiente umido, fare uso di un interruttore
differenziale, circostanza che riduce il rischio di una scossa
elettrica.
d) Non utilizzare il cavo in modo non conforme, cioè per
tirare l’apparecchio, per appenderlo o per estrarre la
spina dalla presa elettrica. Tenere il cavo lontano da
calore, olio, spigoli acuti o di parti in movimento
dell’apparecchio. Cavi danneggiati o attorcigliati accrescono
il rischio di scossa elettrica.
e) Non mettere in funzione l’apparecchio qualora il cavo di alimen-
tazione o la spina fossero danneggiati.
Cavi di alimentazione danneggiati rappre-
sentano un pericolo di morte a causa di scosse elettriche.
f) Tenere sempre lontano il cavo di alimentazione dal campo di
azione dell’apparecchio, e fare passare il cavo sempre verso il
lato posteriore.
g) Estrarre sempre la spina se si lascia l’apparecchio incustodito o
prima di eseguire interventi sull’apparecchio medesimo.
3. Sicurezza delle persone
a) Quest‘apparecchio può essere utilizzato da bambini di
età superiore agli 8 anni, da persone con capacità fisiche, sensoriali o mentali ridotte o da persone inesperte solo se supervisionate o preventivamente istruite
sull’utilizzo in sicurezza del prodotto e solo se infor-

mate dei pericoli legati al prodotto stesso. Non lasciare
che i bambini giochino con l‘apparecchio. La pulizia e la
manutenzione non devono essere eseguite dai bambini senza supervisione.
b) Fare sempre estrema attenzione a ciò che si fa e acco-
starsi al lavoro con il dispositivo elettrico sempre in
modo cosciente. Non utilizzare l’apparecchio quando
si è stanchi o sotto l’influsso di droghe, alcol o medicinali. Un solo attimo di disattenzione nell’utilizzo dell’apparecchio
può provocare serie lesioni.
PERICOLO DI SCOTTATURE! Non toccare mai la punta saldan-
te calda oppure il metallo di apporto fuso, poiché sussiste pericolo
di scottature. E’ necessario lasciare raffreddare l’apparecchio prima di sostituire, pulire o verificare i suoi componenti.
Faccia raffreddare il pistone per saldatura fine dopo il lavoro solo
con l‘aria. Non lo faccia assolutamente entrare in contatto con
l‘acqua!
ATTENZIONE! PERICOLO DI INCENDIO! Utilizzi esclusivamen-
te il dispositivo di supporto multifunzionale o un altro fondamento
resistente al fuoco per posizionare il pistone per saldatura fine caldo.
Durante le pause di lavoro il pistone per saldatura fine deve essere
inserito nel dispositivo di supporto multifunzionale.
Tenere l’apparecchio lontano da materiale infiammabile.
Non lasciare mai incustodito l’apparecchio acceso.
ATTENZIONE! PERICOLO DI LESIONI! Mantenere le mani
lontane dal pezzo riscaldato, giacché il pezzo può trasmettere il
calore.
Evitare il contatto della punta saldante calda con i componenti in
plastica del supporto multifunzione. In caso contrario l’apparecchio può subire dei danni.
In caso di pericolo estrarre immediatamente il cavo di alimentazio-
ne dalla presa elettrica.

In caso di esecuzione di lavorazioni di lunga durata, in occasione
dei quali possono prodursi vapori dannosi per la salute, fare sem
in modo che vi sia una sufficiente ventilazione dell’area di lavoro.
Si suggerisce inoltre di fare uso di guanti protettivi, di una mascherina e di un grembiule da lavoro.
Evitare di mangiare, di bere e di fumare in aree dove si eseguono
saldature. In caso contrario, le tracce di piombo rimaste sulle mani
potrebbero raggiungere l’organismo umano attraverso cibi o sigarette.
Dopo l’esecuzione di una brasatura lavarsi sempre bene le mani.
Non gettare mai resti di brasatura nei rifiuti comuni.
Essi rappresentano rifiuti speciali.
4. Utilizzo attento di dispositivi elettrici
a) Mantenere dispositivi elettrici non utilizzati fuori dalla
portata di bambini. Non fare utilizzare l’apparecchio
da persone che non lo conoscano o del quale non abbiano letto le istruzioni d’uso. I dispositivi elettrici sono perico-
losi se utilizzati da persone inesperte.
b) Manutendere l’apparecchio con cura. Controllare se vi
siano componenti siano rotti o danneggiati in modo
tale da pregiudicare la funzionalità dell’apparecchio.
Fare riparare componenti danneggiati prima di utilizzare l’apparecchio. Molti incidenti sono provocati dalla cattiva

Prima di utilizzare per la prima volta la stazione di brasatura e anche
in occasione dell’utilizzo di ogni nuova punta, è prima necessario stagnare la punta

Inoltre punti di brasatura perfetti si possono ottenere solo raggiungendo
la temperatura di brasatura corretta. In caso di temperatura di brasatura troppo bassa, lo stagno non cola a sufficienza e determina punti
di brasatura imprecisi (cosiddette saldature fredde). Temperature di
brasatura troppo elevate bruciano la lega per brasatura e lo stagno
non cola. Inoltre i materiali da lavorare possono danneggiarsi irreparabilmente.
Qui di seguito vengono indicate le impostazioni di temperatura per le
applicazioni più comuni. A seconda dello stagno / del produttore sono
possibili differenze.
Livello min. = temperatura ambiente
Livello 1 = circa 100 °C – livello di riscaldamento e per metalli d’ap-
porto con bassa temperatura di fusione
Livello 2 = 200 °C – punto di fusione dei metalli d’apporto dolci
utilizzati più di frequente
Livello 3 = 300 °C esercizio normale, ad esempio in caso di utilizzo
di stagno senza piombo

Esecuzione della brasatura
Inalandoli, i vapori possono portare tra l‘altro a mal di testa
e segni di stanchezza.
— Il pistone per saldatura fine con una prestazione nominale di
48 Watt è ideale per saldature elettroniche (vedi fig. A, B).
— Grazie alla sua forma costruttiva, questo apparecchio è molto
adatto per lavori di brasatura su punti difficilmente raggiungibili
e per lavori molto fini.

1. Workplace safety
a) Keep your working area clean and well lit. Untidy or
poorly lit working areas can lead to accidents.

c) Keep children and other people away while you are
operating the electrical tool. Distractions can cause you to

2. Electrical safety
To avoid danger to life from electric shock:

the device or to pull the mains plug out of the mains
socket. Keep the mains lead away from heat, oil, sharp
edges or moving parts of the device. Damaged or tangled
mains leads increase the risk of electric shock.

Do not operate the device if the mains lead or mains plug is damaged.
A damaged mains lead presents a serious
danger to life from electric shock.
f) Always keep the mains lead out of the operating area and run it
away from the rear of the device.
g) Always pull out the mains plug if you are about to leave the device

3. Personal safety
a) This appliance can be used by children aged from 8
years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children
shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user main-
tenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
b) Remain alert at all times, watch what you are doing
and always proceed with caution. Do not use the
device if you are tired or under the influence of drugs,

alcohol or medication. One moment of carelessness when
using the device can lead to serious injury.
DANGER OF BURNS! Never touch the hot soldering tip or the
molten solder. You could suffer burn injuries. Always let the device
cool before you replace components on the device, clean it or
check its condition.
After use let the soldering pencil cool down in air only. Under no
circumstances quench the tip in water!
CAUTION! DANGER OF FIRE! Place the soldering pencil down
only in the special multifunctional holder or on a fire-resistant pad.
Place the soldering pencil in the multifunctional holder during
pauses in your work.
Keep the device away from combustible material.
Never leave the device switched on and unattended.
CAUTION! DANGER OF INJURY! Keep your hands away
from the hot workpiece. The heat from soldering can be conducted
through the workpiece.
Avoid placing the hot soldering tip in contact with the plastic parts
of the multifunctional holder. Failure to observe this advice may
result in damage to the device.
If a dangerous situation arises, pull the mains plug immediately
out of the mains socket.
CAUTION! DANGER OF POISONING! Do not breathe air
contaminated with soldering fumes.
When working with the device for long periods do not allow the
fumes from soldering to build up. They may be hazardous to health.
Always provide adequate ventilation of your working area. In addition, it is recommended that you wear protective gloves, a face
mask and a protective apron.
Do not eat, drink or smoke in rooms where soldering is carried out.
Otherwise your hands may transfer any adhering traces of lead
via food or cigarettes into your body.

4. Careful handling and use
of electrical power tools
a) When not in use always ensure that electrical power
tools are kept out of reach of children. Do not let anyone use the device if he or she is not familiar with it
or has not read the instructions and advice. Electrical
power tools are dangerous when they are used by inexperienced
people.
b) Look after the device carefully. Check for broken
parts or parts that are damaged to the extent they
detrimentally affect the functioning of the device.
Have any damaged parts repaired before you use
the device. Many accidents have their origins in poorly main-
tained electrical tools.

Inserting / replacing soldering tips
CAUTION! DANGER OF BURNS! Allow the soldering pencil to
heat up without a soldering tip.
Remove a soldering tip only when the device has been switched
off and the soldering tip has cooled.
Turn the soldering tip out to replace it.
You must ‘tin’, i.e. thinly coat with solder, the soldering tip
before

using the soldering station for the first time and before using a new
soldering tip.
To do this follow these steps:

switch
into position “I”.

Turn the thermostat 6 to 3 and wait until the device has heated up.
Then let something solder until a thin cohesive film melts off the soldering tip.

Turn the temperature control 6 to set the temperature you wish
to have.
Problems will occur during soldering if an unsuitable solder wire used.
The right soldering temperature must be achieved to produce perfect
soldering. If the temperature is too low the solder does not flow enough
and causes contamination of the solder at the joint, a so-called “cold
joint”. At too high a temperature, the flux (flowing aid) burns and the
solder does not flow. The high temperatures may also damage the
workpiece.
The temperature settings suitable for most soldering tasks are given
below. The precise settings may vary, depending on the solder and the
manufacturer.
Level min = room temperature
Setting 1 = approx. 100 °C – warming up stage and for solder with a
low melting point
Setting 2 = 200 °C melting point of most common soft solders
Setting 3 = 300 °C normal operating temperature, e.g. for using
lead-free solder
Setting 4 = 400 °C high soldering temperature, e.g. for desoldering
small soldered joints
Setting 5 = 500 °C maximum soldering temperature, e.g. for desolder-
ing large soldered joints

Moisten the solder sponge 5 before you use it.

Soldering
If inhaled, vapours may cause headaches and fatigue as
well as other symptoms.
— The soldering pencil has a rated output of 48 watts and is therefore
ideal for electronics soldering (see Figs. A, B).
— The design of the soldering pencil makes it especially suitable for
use where access is difficult or for fine soldering work.
Clean the soldering tip 7 on the moist solder sponge 5.
After cleaning the tip 7 it must be “tinned” (coated with solder).
This is done by melting solder on to the hot soldering tip

.
Guide the soldering tip 7 to the intended joint site and heat the joint.

Place the solder (with flux) between the joint site and the tip
to melt it.
Continue to feed further solder until the whole joint has a covering
of solder.
Then quickly remove the soldering tip in order to avoid overheating
the molten solder.
Allow the solder to harden while not subjecting it to vibration or
movement.
Note: The flux is either already contained in the solder or applied
separately.

Ask the advice of the retailer when buying solder in order to choose
the most suitable solder for your intended purpose.
Attachments and applications:
ATTENTION! Do not carry out any special changes or repairs to the

Try every application out on surplus material and see if you get the effect
you wish to have. This means you will avoid damaging the item you
wish to work on.
