CONTENTS INCLUDED: 2 side panels, 1 top or outer panel, 1 back panel, 1 angle support brace, 1 straight support
brace, 18 sheet metal screws, 18 washers, 18 spacers, 28 screws, 28 locknuts, 28 shoulder spacers and 1 alignment
tool.
GENERAL: This snow shield is sized so it will fit the Panasonic VRF Condensing Units (All ME2/MF2 models). It is
made to be placed on the top of the Outdoor Unit.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURES:
Remove all the protective film on the parts. Install the back panel to both side panels with the screws/shoulder
spacer/locknut fasteners as show in Fig. 1. To help align parts insert the alignment tool in a hole adjacent to the hole
being fastened. Place the top panel on flange of the two side panels with the fasteners as shown in Fig. 1. Install the
angle support under the top panel, next mount the vertical support (Y) to the angle support and top panel.
Pre assemble all parts. Fasten the assembled snow shield to the top of unit with fasteners as shown in Fig. 2. The
snow shield can be rotated (360°) to direct the airflow to the preferred direction. Use caution when fastening to the
top of the unit. Slowly install the self-drilling screws using caution not to strip out the metal of the unit.
Only use provided fasteners to attach this product to the unit – failing to so, may void your warranty.

CONTACT WITH REFRIGERANT TUBING OR
ELECTRICAL WIRES. CHECK FOR CLEARANCE.
