CONTENTS INCLUDED: 6 side panels, 1 Back A panel, 1 back B panel, 2 cap A panels, 36 sheet metal screws, 36
washers, 36 spacers, 50 screws, 50 locknuts, 50 shoulder spacers and 1 alignment tool.
GENERAL: This snow shield is sized so it will fit the sides and back of Panasonic VRF Condensing units: U-**ME2U9,
U-**MF2U9, U-**ME2U94, U-**MF2U94.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURES:
Remove all the protective film on the parts. Install the CAP A to 2 side panels (Fig. 3) with the fasteners as show in Fig.
1. To help align parts for use with the fasteners, insert the alignment tool in a hole adjacent to the hole being fastened. Install the BACK A and BACK B to 2 side panels (Fig 4) with the fasteners as show in Fig. 1. To fasten the assembled snow shield to the unit with fasteners as shown in Fig. 2, start with the holes on the top of the 2 side panels first. This will hold the snow shield in place while installing the remaining fasteners. Slowly install the self-drilling
screws using caution not to strip out the metal of the unit. Only use provided fasteners to attach this product to the
unit – failing to so, may void your warranty.

CAUTION!
BEFORE DRILLING OR SCREWING INTO THE UNIT, MAKE SURE THERE WILL BE NO CONTACT WITH REFRIGERANT
TUBING OR ELECTRICAL WIRES. CHECK FOR
CLEARANCE.
