Special Note for Windows 98/Me
If your computer had Windows 98/Me pre-installed and the original Windows 98/Me CD-ROM or diskettes were not included. In this situation, please try to locate the necessary files by following the methods described below or refer to your computer’s User’s Guide for more details.
Method-1: Specify the Windows 98/Me backup file location in the hard disk of your computer.
Generally, the Windows 98/Me backup files are located in the “WINDOWS\OPTIONS\CABS” folder. Type “C:\WINDOWS\OPTIONS\CABS” in the [Copy files from:] box on the “Copying Files...” dialog box, where “C:” is your Windows 98/Me boot drive and then click the [OK] button. If the necessary files are found, the installation will proceed.

Method-2: Create the Windows 98/Me backup diskettes and then specify the diskettes.
Depending on the computer, there is usually a tool from the manufacturer to create the Windows 98/Me backup diskettes in a Windows 98/Me pre-installed system. Please refer to your PC’s User’s Guide for more details on this tool.
Create the Window 98/Me backup diskettes by using this tool, and then install the USB and Printer driver by following the procedures from Step 1.

Wall-mounting
Wall-mounting fixture
The wall-mounting fixture includes the board attachment (upper and lower) supplied with the unit. Before attempting installation of this wall-mounting fixture, we strongly recommend consulting with the building manager, engineer, or architect. The installer needs to know the type of construction used for the wall intended for this installation and the location of wall studs. Selection of hardware is critical for safe wall-mounting, and depends on the nature of wall construction. Installation should not occur until this consultation takes place.
Caution
• Do not attach the electronic board to mortared walls. Accidental electric leakage from the wall-mounting fixture bolts to metal laths or wire laths can cause heat, smoke or a fire.
I. Tools required:
A minimum of four (4) pieces of appropriate wall-support hardware (molley, toggle, etc.)
NOTE: THIS HARDWARE MUST BE LOCALLY PROCURED, IT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRODUCT.
Drill (and drill bit of correct size) for hardware installation Screw driver (Both phillips (+) and slotted (–) will be required.) Tape measure Tape or thumb-tacks (2 pcs) Bubble type level
II. Pre-requisites
1. Before installation, make sure that the wall intended for installation is capable of supporting flushmounted. 80 kgf (176 lbs.).
2. The position of the intended installation is of adequate size for the selected Panaboard. 1,440 mm (H) × 1,372 mm (W) [56.7" (H) × 54.0" (W)].
3. An outlet is within 3 m (118.1" ), and not located behind the Panaboard.
46

Wall-mounting procedure
Confirm that the wall is strong enough to support the weight of the electronic board.
1
Caution
The wall must be capable of supporting at least
784N [80 kgf (176 lbs.)].
1) Assemble the wall-mounting template by taping the Wall-mounting template 1
2
(TOP) to Wall-mounting template 2 (BOTTOM).
2) Tape the wall-mounting template on the wall.
• When taping the template on the wall, make sure it is level.
1) Drill holes in the wall at the 4 spots indicated by and , or and for the
3
wall-mounting fixtures.
• Holes on the wall-mounting fixture are 1/4" in diameter.
2) After removing the wall-mounting template, attach the wall-mounting fixtures with the appropriate wall-mounting hardware.

Bolt
Drill four holes in the wall. For the correct hole size, refer to the instructions for the particular stud plugs used.
Insert each bolt through a hole in the wall-mounting fixture and tighten until the wall-mounting fixture is securely fixed to the wall.
Insert each bolt through a hole in the wall-mounting fixture and into the hole in the wall beneath so that the arms of the splitwing toggle are horizontal. For the correct hole size, refer to the instructions for the particular split-wing toggles used.
48
Arms
After the arms expand, pull the wall-mounting fixture out until the arms of the split-wing toggle grip firmly into the wall.
Tighten each bolt until the wallmounting fixture is securely fixed to the wall.
