Remember all the things you had to do with your old home cinema system before you could actually watch a movie? First you had to turn on the TV, then the DVD player, and then the receiver. After that, you had to change the receiver input selector, switch the TV’s input mode, and then press the Play button. Great Entertainment Without the Clutter

With a conventional home cinema system there's a lot of wires to worry about. You might have to run cables from the receiver to the rear speakers under the carpet or along the base of the walls so people don't get tripped. And all those cables aren't very pretty to look at. HDMI Home Cinema

In an HDMI system, video and audio signals are transmitted in digital form

to help assure superior image and sound quality. Panasonic, drawing on our

expertise as a comprehensive manufacturer of AV equipment, has developed

a home cinema system in which all components are HDMI-linked. HDMI

connection makes equipment much easier to operate. For example,

pressing a single button turns on the TV, receiver and DVD recorder/player,

and starts DVD playback. The components send information back and forth

among themselves to control operation, leaving you free to just sit back and

enjoy the show. With a Panasonic HDMI Home Cinema, you get a remarkable

Viera Link Takes Care of the Hassle For You

1. One-Touch Home Cinema Playback

Just press the "One Touch Play" button and let Panasonic

do the rest. All components turn on, the correct Panasonic

plasma TV input is selected, the TV built-in speaker sound

is muted, the correct receiver input is selected, and the

DVD recorder/player starts playback. It all happens

automatically and in an instant.

If you call up the Panasonic plasma TV on-screen display

and select "Home Theatre," the home theatre receiver turns

on and audio playback switches from the TV speakers to the

home theatre speakers. If you turn off the receiver, the

audio automatically switches back to the TV

3. One-Touch Volume Control

When the audio is being output from the home theatre,

you can check and adjust the sound volume right on the

Panasonic plasma TV screen. As you turn the TV sound

volume up or down, the home theatre's sound volume is

automatically turned up or down accordingly.
