One Touch Is All It Takes
Remember all the things you had to do with your old home cinema system before you could actually watch a movie? First you had to turn on the TV, then the DVD player, and then the receiver. After that, you had to change the receiver input selector, switch the TV’s input mode, and then press the Play button. Even after all that you still had to get the remote control to hit a few more buttons. That was yesterday. Viera Link is today. With an all-Viera Link home cinema system, watching a movie is easy as a single touch. Pressing a single button on the remote control turns on the TV, receiver, and DVD recorder/player, displays the playback image, mutes the TV sound, and outputs the sound from the receiver. It's all done instantly, automatically. All you have to do is sit back and watch. Once you experience this kind of convenience, you'll never want to go back to yesterday.

What's HDMI
The New Interface for Digital Signal Transmission
HDMI transmits digital video and audio signals at speeds up to 5 Gbps without compressing them. It supports high definition images up to 1080p and high-quality, multi-channel audio formats such as DVD-Audio. And it provides all this performance with the ease of connecting a single cable. Also equipped with a copyright protection function, HDMI is a simple, high-performance interface that supports the growing digital age.

360º Sound
Surround Sound Adds to the Viewing Experience
Movie theatres create a superb acoustic environment by strategically positioning a number of large speakers around the theater. Due to space and design considerations in our homes, however, home cinema systems are generally limited to around six slim, compact speakers. The challenge is how to use them to create the same kind of ambience you enjoy in a movie theatre. Panasonic's answer: the 360° Sound. Bringing together three separate functions — 360° Sound, Surround Enhancer, and H.Bass — this sound technology delivers dynamic audio reproduction with outstanding acoustic motion and wraparound surround sound. The 360° Sound delivers a pure, beautiful, powerful sound that transports you right into the scene on the big screen.
360˚ Sound
Drawing from its long history of developing innovative audio technologies, Panasonic has achieved a level of sound reproduction that enhances the feelings of motion and space. Sounds move vertically and horizontally across a wide acoustic field, to virtually pull the listener into the excitement and drama of each movie.

Surround Enhancer
In conventional 5.1-channel systems, the sound tends to weaken at the sides or rear of the central listening position. Surround Enhancer projects "virtual" speakers into those areas to complete the circle of sound and enhance the wraparound effect. The result is a full surround sound with the kind of lifelike, exciting effect as the multi-speaker systems in movie theatres.
H.Bass
Dramatically improved audio characteristics in the subwoofer result in ultra-robust bass sounds that add to the dynamics and atmosphere of movie and music audio reproduction. Enjoy powerful bass sounds rivaling those of the most advanced theatre systems, right in the comfort of your own home.

Great Entertainment Without the Clutter
With a conventional home cinema system there's a lot of wires to worry about. You might have to run cables from the receiver to the rear speakers under the carpet or along the base of the walls so people don't get tripped. And all those cables aren't very pretty to look at. The solution? Go wireless. A Panasonic wireless home cinema system transmits the audio signals by radio waves, so there's no need to run cables from the main unit to the rear speakers. The signal isn't interrupted by people walking through the room or the placement of furniture.
Stylish Wireless
The SC-HT995W uses the 2.4-GHz wireless system, which is largely unaffected by obstacles in its path. Because of this, the signals sent from the main unit are received with excellent sensitivity by the rear wireless unit, even if it is partially blocked by something like a sofa. The system's card-type transmitter simply inserts into the rear panel of the main unit, so it doesn't take up extra space and keeps the area around the TV neat and tidy. The SC-HT995W gives you a truly stylish wireless home cinema. Best of all: the wireless advantage is available on the SC-HT545 and SC-HT895 with the purchase of the SH-FX60 wireless expander pack.

switched when any signal interference occurs. In addition to this, it uses a Advanced Adaptive Frequency Selection System, which is extremely resistant to signal interference, to ensure excellent sound quality. The rear wireless unit features two powerful 125-watt amps to produce high-fidelity surround sound that is well balanced with the power of the front speakers and subwoofer.
