reformatting is ever necessary, format it using SD com­patible equipment or SD formatting software. Formatting the card with any other software will make the card non­standard and cause problems with compatibility and per­formance. Removal and storage of the SD card Retrait et rangement de la carte SD
AOpening and closing the case
Hold the case with both hands when opening and clos­ing it to prevent damage to the card. To open it, lift up the lid as illustrated by arrow slide the lid until there is no gap between it and the tray as illustrated by arrow
BRemoving and storing the card
Slide the card on the tray when removing and storing it. Ensure the card is correctly on the tray before closing the case.

Protecting your data
Switch the write-protect switch (C-a) to “LOCK” to pre-
vent accidental loss of data. Unlock when you want to record or edit the card again.
Use an oil-based felt pen to write on the card. Do not use pen­cils or ballpoint pens as these can damage the card and data on it. Take care to keep the metal terminals free from ink.
While data is being read or written, do not remove the
card or turn off any equipment using the card. Do not re­move the batteries from battery-operated equipment. These actions can cause data to be destroyed.
Make backup copies of your data wherever possible.
Panasonic will not accept responsibility for any data loss, or loss directly or indirectly caused by data loss.

AOuverture et fermeture de l’étui
Afin de prévenir tout dommage à la carte, tenir l’étui avec les deux mains lors de l’ouverture et la fermeture. Pour ouvrir l’étui, soulever le couvercle comme indiqué par la flèche faire glisser jusqu’à ce qu’il n’y ait plus d’espace entre le couvercle et le plateau, comme indiqué par la flèche

Faire glisser la carte sur le plateau lors du retrait et pour la ranger. S’assurer que la carte est installée correcte­ment sur le plateau avant de refermer l’étui.

Si possible, effectuer des copies de sauvegarde des
données. Panasonic ne pourra être tenue responsable de toute perte de données ou de toute perte directement ou indirectement liée à une perte de données.

Limited Warranty Coverage
If your product listed below does not work properly because of a defect in materials or workmanship, Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company or Panasonic Sales Company (collectively referred to as “the warrantor”) will, for the length of the period indi­cated on the chart below, which starts with the date of original pur­chase (“warranty period”), at its option either (a) repair your product with new or refurbished parts, or (b) replace it with a new or a refurbished product. The decision to repair or replace will be made by the warrantor.

During the “Labor” warranty period there will be no charge for labor. During the “Parts” warranty period, there will be no charge for parts. You must mail-in your product during the warranty peri­od. This Limited Warranty excludes both parts and labor for bat­teries, antennas, and cosmetic parts (cabinet). This warranty only applies to products purchased and serviced in the United States or Puerto Rico. This warranty is extended only to the original pur­chaser of a new product which was not sold “as is”. A purchase re­ceipt or other proof of the original purchase date is required for warranty service.

Limited Warranty Limits And Exclusions
This warranty ONLY COVERS failures due to defects in materials or workmanship, and DOES NOT COVER normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage. The warranty ALSO DOES NOT COVER dam­ages which occurred in shipment, or failures which are caused by products not supplied by the warrantor, or failures which result from accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, misapplica­tion, alteration, faulty installation, set-up adjustments, misadjust­ment of consumer controls, improper maintenance, power line surge, lightning damage, modification, introduction of sand, hu­midity or liquids, commercial use such as hotel, office, restaurant, or other business or rental use of the product, or service by any­one other than a Factory Servicenter or other Authorized Servicer, or damage that is attributable to acts of God.
THERE ARE NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES EXCEPT AS LIST­ED UNDER “LIMITED WARRANTY COVERAGE”. THE WARRANTOR IS NOT LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT, OR ARISING OUT OF ANY BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY.

Dry cell batteries are also excluded from coverage under this warranty. This warranty is extended to the original end user purchaser only. A purchase receipt or other proof of date of original pur­chase is required before warranty service is performed.
