Limited Warranty Coverage
If your product does not work properly because of a defect in materials or workmanship, Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company or Panasonic Puerto Rico, Inc. (collectively referred to as "the warrantor") will, for the length of the period as follows, which starts with the date of original purchase ("warranty period"), replace it with a new or a refurbished product.

During the "Parts" warranty period, there will be no charge for parts. You must carry-in or mail-in your product, during the warranty period. If non-rechargeable batteries are included, they are not warranted. This warranty only applies to products purchased and serviced in U.S.A. or Puerto Rico. This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser of a new product which was not sold "as is". A purchase receipt or other proof of the original purchase date is required for warranty service.

The noise canceling function
Environmental noises in airplanes, trains, and buses, and noise caused by air-conditioners is reduced by a fourth, providing a quieter listening environment. music without raising the volume too high, and is, therefore, kinder to your ears. This unit mainly reduces the annoying low fre­quency sounds. For this reason, sounds with higher frequency portions, from car horns, tele­phones and human voices, remain relatively in­tact.

Inserting the battery
Place the earpad of the right side hous-
ing on your palm and hold the hanger down with your thumb (the battery lid cannot be removed unless the hanger is held firmly down). Push the battery lid lever (BATT) to open the battery lid.
Insert the included battery.

If rechargeable batteries are to be used, re­chargeable batteries manufactured by Panasonic are recommended.
When to change the battery
The battery should be changed when the [OPR] indicator fades or fails to light. The noise cancel­ing function becomes less effective as the bat­tery wears down. If the battery is worn down, or if a battery isn’t inserted at all, the unit acts like normal head­phones.

Using the headphones
Turn down the volume on the audio
equipment or in-flight audio system and insert the headphone plug (3.5 mm stereo) into the headphone jack (use the plug adaptor
Use the included large stereo plug adaptor if the headphone jack is large (6.3 mm stereo). The headphone plug and the air plug adap­tor may not suit the jacks in some airplane armrests.
Check the sides (L and R), then put the headphones on. Move the sliders up or down to suit the housing position to your ears.
Start play on the audio unit and ad­just its volume; or,
Adjust the volume on the in-flight au­dio system.

Notes on use

La fonction de suppression de bruit

Cette fonction vous permet d’écouter de la musique sans pousser le volume trop haut et procure donc un son plus agréable à l’oreille. Cet appareil réduit essentiellement les bruits de basse fréquence gênants. Pour cette raison, les sons aux fréquences supérieures, tels que les klaxons de voiture, les sonneries de téléphone et les voies humaines, restent relativement intacts.

Insertion de la pile
Placez le pavillon d’écouteur du boîtier droit dans la paume de la main et maintenez le support en place avec le pouce (le retrait du couvercle nest pos­sible que si le support est fermement maintenu en place). Poussez le levier du couvercle du compartiment de pile (BATT) pour ouvrir le couvercle.
Insérez la pile fournie.

Quand remplacer la pile
Un allumage faible ou l’absence d’allumage du témoin [OPR] indique qu’il faut remplacer la pile. La fonction de suppression de bruit devient moins efficace au fur et à mesure que la pile s’épuise. Si la pile est usée ou si aucune pile n’est insérée, l’appareil fonctionne comme un casque normal.

Baissez le volume sur l’équipement audio ou le système audio de bord et insérez la fiche du casque (stéréo 3,5 mm) dans la prise pour casque (utilisez la fiche adaptatrice
Utilisez la grande fiche adaptatrice stéréo fournie si la prise de casque est grande (6,3 mm stéréo). Il se peut que la fiche de casque et fiche adaptatrice pour avion ne convienne pas aux prises de l’accoudoir dans certains avions.
Vérifiez les côtés (G et D) puis mettez le casque en marche. Déplacez les coulisses vers le haut ou le bas pour adapter les écouteurs à vos oreilles.
