Installation Of Joist Mounting Brackets For Use With PC-RD05C3 Damper.

Step 1

Remove brackets and plastic bag from box. Open plastic bag.
Each joist mounting bracket consists of one support bar (R), one
support bar (L), two 10-32 x 1/2 inch bolts, and two 10-32 kep nuts.

Step 2

Align the support bars as shown in Fig. 1 with both ribs of support
bar on the same end facing the opposite direction. Fasten to fan
housing through slot in brackets and holes in housing with two
10-32 x 1/2 bolts and 10-32 kep nuts. See-Fig. 2.

Step 3

Repeat the above procedures for installation on the opposite
side of the fan. See Fig. 3.

Step 4

Install the damper with the mounting legs facing the opposite side
of the support bars. Fasten to fan housing through holes in brackets
and holes in housing with 10-32 x 1/2 bolts and 10-32 kep nuts.
